Come experience true island living. You'll be staying next to a historic ruins with stone cistern and wall remains. Hike on the properties five acres to Hammock Hill and Black Rock Sanctuary where you’ll find a huge two story rocks sticking out of the ground. The driveway is easy access (flat) from the main road and a 10-minute walk to Coral Bay with all its quaint shops and restaurants.
This Caribbean style home has a large bedroom on the main floor with a beautiful carved teak king-size bed with an additional private loft sleeping room for two. The loft also has a living/TV room. There is a full open kitchen/dining area with a partial wrap around porch. The lower floor has another large bedroom/bath.
The beaches are a short drive away as well as Annaberg Sugar Mills Ruins, built in the 18th and 19th century, in Leinster Bay, which gives you views of the British Virgin Islands. Another exciting day trip is Cinnamon Bay, home to an archaeological lab along with archaeological sites dating back to the prehistoric periods on St John.

Why the Owner Chose Coral Bay
Starbo and I bought the property in 2001. It was 6 acres total. We built one home on one half acre, lived in it then sold it in 2007. We finished this house in 2005. We love the land. It has a special energy to it. The land has many variations. Some areas are desert-like with cactus and wild sage. Other areas have a lot of very tall trees. Then there is a giant 2-story black rock that looks like it fell out of the sky and landed on the property along with a bunch of smaller rocks all around it.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The night air is my favorite. Nothing's better than hearing the waves crash down below, feeling the breeze and looking up at the uninterupted stars.

My name is Jeanie. I lived in St John for 20 years. I love it here, it was a great place to raise our children when they were younger. We are back in the states for the highschool years.
