The owners were excellent. They were extremely welcoming and accommodating, but certainly gave us our space. The space is not extremely large, but it is comfortable, with all the necessities. It was just what we were looking for.
Owner response:Thank you, Jeffrey.

We have stayed in this wonderful, Bethesda apartment, multiple times in 2011. Great accommodations all the way around! The owners are wonderful and very helpful when we had questions about the area, etc. Much better than a hotel room, offering all the comforts of home. It's so nice having the kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit, as well as the sitting area off of the kitchen. Located in a great area of Bethesda, close to hospitals, shopping, and unlimited restaurant options. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Bethesda area, yearning for more than just your typical hotel room.
Owner response:John, We hope to see you again soon. Thank you for your property review. Best, Gilda

My husband and I spent a week in this comfortable walk-out basement apartment. Our stay was home base to discover the DC area and family roots in Maryland. Unfortunately, we came down with a bug and spent a great deal of time inside rather than out exploring. BUT, the great part was we had a cozy place to call home! So much better than a hotel room; a place to relax, fix meals when we wanted and convenient to Metrorail and shopping. Our hosts, Gilda and Fulvio, couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. Thanks for a great stay.
Owner response:Betsy, How kind of you to take the trouble to send a comment to our guestbook. It was a pleasure to meet you and we hope you are back this way fully recovered and able to enjoy what Washington has to offer. Best regards, Gilda

From initial contact through check out, our experience with the owners and the property were perfect! Timely communication, accurate representation of property and amenities, flexibility and hospitality were all top notch. When the the local florist made an error on the flowers I had delivered for our arrival, the owners took it upon themselves to get flowers purchased and in the property. Would not hesitate to return and HIGHLY recommend other travelers take advantage of this steal.
Owner response:We are always glad to assist people traveling to the capital of the US. So glad you were comfortable at our place. Gilda

We were very fortunate to stay at this wonderful apt. for the month of September 2010 while we "did" the Capitol of the USA. The two bedroom apt. exceeded all the needs for the three of us--my husband and I and my elderly mother. The apt. has 2 spacious bedrooms with comfy beds and lovely bed linens, an immaculate up to date kitchen, a small sitting area for tv viewing and a bathroom with a spacious shower that has ideal water pressure. The house has a beautiful stone patio with an herb garden and a fig tree that we were invited to enjoy. There is a parking pad for up to 2 vehicles right in front of the door. The location is about a mile from downtown Bethesda. You can walk to the bus stop from the apt. in 5 minutes and the bus takes you to the Bethesda Metro. From there, you can reach anywhere in the DC area. We highly recommend this apartment. It is spotless, tasteful and possesses all the appropriate amenities. Gilda and Fulvio are a wonderful, caring couple. Their home is lovely and they made us feel welcome from day one. They were also generous with tips about places of local interest and resources in this lovely town.

Outstanding two bedroom (one queen and one double), one bath apartment located in a basement of a beautiful home in Bethesda, Maryland. Located five minutes away from the National Institutes of Health. We stayed in this apartment for 49 days over the course of 6 months while my wife was receiving her cancer treatments. In the bathroom their is a washer and dryer too. Beautiful kitchen with all the amenities you would want. Also, there is wireless internet access at no cost to you. Homeowners are a wonderful couple who are very accommodating. Washington. D.C. is only 15 minutes away. Close to many wonderful restaurants in downtown Bethesda too. You can not go wrong renting this apartment.
