The cabin was perfect in every way. We cooked a full blown Thanksgiving dinner - the kitchen was marvelous. We hiked out the door and up the drive for hours - in spectacular scenery. Woke up to llamas looking in our kitchen and living room windows and watched Sally's horses out the other windows. The cabin was immaculate, the beds comfy and cozy, the living spaces welcoming. The VRBO photos do not do the place justice. We walked in the door - and couldn't believe our eyes. Our family is hoping to return for another holiday.
Owner response:Thank you for your great review. We were happy things were what you expected but sorry your stay was so short. Next time we will have to explore those trails in the hills! Hope you and your lovely family have a great holiday season. Best, Sally and Paul

We have been coming to Montana for the past several years, and this time found a vacation cabin available for the month long time that we wanted. It was located in a beautiful area of the Bridger Mountain Range where we had never stayed before. The scenery and surrounding vistas were breathtaking. The weather we experienced during September was fantastic. The cabin was perfect. Not overly big, but roomy and spacious. Our children came to visit from Big Sky and Missoula and there was plenty of room. We hiked a couple of trails close to the cabin, and also went to Bozeman to the Highlight Canyon. Coming back to the cabin at the end of the day was a treat because we could relax on the front porch and watch the horses, llamas and the mule deer out the front of the house. At night the sky put on a show with shooting stars, planets, and constellations that are never seen where we live. All in all, our month at this beautiful cabin was pure Montana Heaven. Thanks to Sally and Paul for letting us share your lovely space.
Owner response:Thank you for the nice comments about our rental home. It is always great to hear our guests have enjoyed sharing our great area. We hope to see you again one day. Sally Taylor

Our whole family relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of Montana while living in a modern log home. Our girls enjoyed the llamas, horses, fishing, and catching frogs. We enjoyed the fresh air, trees, green grass, and easy going atmosphere. The home had everything we needed. This is one vacation we will look back on with fond memories.
Owner response: Thank you, Scott, for your nice review. We were very happy to meet all of you and to get a chance to visit with your beautiful girls. We hope to see you back again some time. Best regards, Sally and Paul

Montana/Wyoming Vacation

This was our first trip to Montana and Wyoming. We decided to ask another couple to come with us and between us we had 4 adults and 6 kids ranging from 5-17. It was a task to plan this vacation and find a place to accommodate us. We rented the log home from Sally and were extremely happy with everything. It has an open concept living are with three nice bedrooms and two nice bathrooms. Plenty of closet space, wireless internet, unlimited long distance on their telephone (since our cells didn't work), beautiful views of their livestock (horses and llamas), and the landscape was so peaceful. The drive to Bozeman was around 20 miles, but didn't seem like it because the drive was so pretty. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked for our group large breakfast and suppers. Nice gas grill at house and also in an aspen grove just across the road. You can hike on their property, pet the friendly horses and enjoy the wildlife. We saw a moose and had fun watching a coyote and a deer. Deer graze in the pasture with the horses. We just felt like we were at home the whole time we were there and our time went by fast. I would come back to their place and recommend it to anyone wanting a nice, relaxing country place to stay. Very nice people and the price is more than competitive.
Owner response:Dear Becky and Steve, Thank you for your kind words about our rental. We were happy to meet you and glad you had a good time at our "cabin". We will be thinking of you and hoping your heat wave breaks soon. Thanks again for choosing our rental, we hope to see you again one day. Best, Sally and Paul Taylor

We had a wonderful time during our week stay in May. The cabin felt like home and was very comfortable and clean - everything you need is there. Sally is more than accommodating with information and help, and just friendly conversation during the entire rental process. The cabin is updated with all the current things guests want and it feels the way you want a cabin in Montana to feel. It was great to see the horses and llamas and have room to roam on the property. There are endless options of things to do in the area, or just be comfortable relaxing at the cabin. This is the best rental I've experienced to date.
Owner response:Dear LuAnn, Thank you for sending a review of your stay at our rental. We really appreciate it. I was happy the weather cooperated for your visit. I know we were both worried about snow or rain so the days of sunshine were a bonus for this time of year. I am glad you enjoyed your visit and hope we will see you again in the future. Best regards and thanks again for choosing our rental.......Sally Taylor

We needed a perfect place for friends and family to gather for a recent graduation ceremony. The cabin was a perfect place to relax, spend time with friends and family and offer those family members not from Montana, an ideal place catch a beautiful glimpse of Montana! The cabin was very spacious, warm and welcoming. There were many personal touches including fresh flowers, a welcoming note and a bottle of wine. The cabin was equiped with everything you might need to feed a small gathering or an army. We were able to view a almost 2 dozen deer grazing in the yard every evening, the young children loved the horses across the road and we took a number of walks around the cabin. Thank you Paul & Sally, we enjoyed our time in the Bridger Mountains, outside Bozeman. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone, and my family has already asked when we'll be able to do it again!
Owner response:Dear Kimberlee, Thank you for the great review. We were very happy our guest house worked out for your graduation party. We know it was a very special event in your life and are happy our location worked out for you and your family. Good luck in your nursing career, and thanks again for choosing our vacation rental for your event. Paul and Sally

The cabin fit our needs perfectly and the Taylors were extremely pleasant and accommodating. The views from the cabin are amazing and we even spotted a bear! We had dogs with us on the trip and the location was fantastic for those traveling with pets as they were able to run free. It is close enough to town for you to get supplies but also provides a secluded " get away from it all" feel. We would definitely recommend the Taylors rental to our friends and are looking forward to our next visit. and the views and location are

Our family came back to Bozeman for a reunion and get away. This was the perfect place to do it. The Llamas and horses were great fun to watch. It was very quiet and beautiful. We were able to go for a hike without getting in ours cars and drive to a destination. There was wild life that frequented. We had cocktail hour by the creek before dinner. Our hosts were great, very helpful with anything we needed although there was nothing we needed in the cabin. We voted to try to come back again next year and none of us were ready to leave.
Owner response:Hello Chris, Thanks again for choosing our rental for your reunion. We enjoyed meeting you and your family. We wish you the best for a good fall and holiday season and hope to see you again next year. Best, Sally

What an amazing place to stay. Conveniently located between Bozeman and Livingston - close to all the attractions but with a peaceful, relaxing setting to get away. The owners thought of everything - was fully stocked and very welcoming. Great people to deal with and a great place to stay. We will be back for sure.
