The Place to Stay in Miramar Beach (Destin)!

This was the perfect place for my family's annual trip to Destin! After staying at Blue Paradise, I will never stay in another hotel when I visit Destin. This condo gives you room to spread out with the full amenities of home. The description is very accurate. This condo is located in the back corner of the property. It took us a minute to find it when we arrived shortly after midnight. The property was just as pictured, very clean and felt like home. It is a first floor unit which my husband demanded (he has to unload/load the car...I don't travel light). The pool is right outside of the door. The beach is about a 2 minute walk from the condo to the white sand beach. We had our 5 yr old daughter and a beach cart which we loaded up with her in it & went to the beach. There is a two lane road that separates the property from the beach. As soon as you walk across the street, you enter the private code at the gate & down the steps to the sand. We had a blast! We spent most of our time on the beach. We stayed for 5 nights. We made 2 trips to Silver Sands Outlet - Dooney & Bourke for me, Ralph Lauren Polo for the hubby. Oh you must go to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory - caramel apples dipped in white chocolate! OMG!! We went to the Winn Dixie for our groceries & stopped at Skipper's Fish Market (next door to Winn Dixie) for Smoked Tuna Dip (first time having it...love it) & snow crab clusters (cheapest in TOWN!....Don't go to Sexton's, Blalocks or anyone else for snow crab). If you are wanting more variety of fresh seafood then yeah, Sexton's or Blalocks. We went to the movies to see Fast & Furious 32 (just kidding...it was opening weekend for F&F 6) @ Destin Commons. Afterwards, walked around & just relaxed. Watch out for the vendors giving away "free" vacations for a 2 hour presentation of a timeshare. Ugh. There's a RedBox DVD rental at the CVS on Holliday Rd. We rented a few movies on the nights we stayed in. We met some very nice families that were also vacationing at the same property - had tons of fun hanging out at the pool when the beach was too choppy. There are bbq grills a few steps from the door which was good for us on Memorial Day. The unit is packed with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, dishwasher, etc. No washing maching/dryer - it's located on the 2nd & 3rd floor in the stairwell. Would I recommend Blue Paradise to family/friends? NO!! They may book it when I am ready to come back! I'll recommend a cramped hotel for them. ;-)

We just returned from a wonderful vacation in Florida and we stayed in this condo. The pictures does it no justice. It was well maintained with the most up-to-date appliances, and stocked with everything you need. It is convenient to shopping, and the beach is only a short stroll across the parking lot. The beds were very comfortable and so was the sofa bed. The condo is on the end so you can park almost at the door. The pool and hot tub is also located on the same end which made it very convenient also. Sherri is very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this condo!

Family spring break

My wife and I stayed for a week with our sons, 4 & 6. This is a great location and a very comfortable home. The pool and hot tub were great after a day at the ocean. It was nice having all of those options with in a few steps of the front door. The noise from the pool was a little loud at times, but it was usually all quiet by 12:00. Our kids were too wiped out from all of the adventuring to even notice, so it was no big deal. You also have endless options for food and shopping in the Destin area. We are glad we chose this spot and would definitely do it again. Sherri is also a great help if you need help with anything. She responded quickly when we had questions, which we greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

My family and I had a marvelous stay at your resort, everything was so nice we couldn't have expected anything better. The condo was very up to date, clean, and had plenty of space. The owner's are very kind and quick to respond to any questions you may have. The location is very nice and the condo itself is poolside. Our family enjoyed walking to Pompano Joe's for lunch and dinner. We also tried Captain Dave's seafood which was wonderful! I would recommend this condo to all of my family and friends. Thank You Sheri for a wonderful vacation!! Cant wait for my next trip!

I don't know where to start because I saw the pictures & read the reviews but was still over whelmed when we first walked in the condo. The place is very well maintained. I am always nervous when we spend the night away because I have a germ aphobia & don't rest well away from home but did not have an issue relaxing after the first walk through. Everything was clean, organized & well put together. The place had everthing we needed and more including games for the girls. We have 5 girls & everyone had enough space to feel comfortable. I can tell there was a lot of thought put into this Blue Paradise because as picky as I am I can't come up with one complaint. My friends & co-workers are so shocked that they are considering staying in the near future. Sherri is an amazing woman to work with. When I initially read all of the nice things people wrote about this place & Sherri, I honestly didn't think I would be one of the people writing a review. I've never written a review before just thinking someone else will write it but I could not go another day without expressing how happy my family & I were after staying a week in this place & having worked so well with Sherri. We'll be back!!

My family and I just returned from our stay in Destin at Blue Paradise. The condo was so nice, the pictures don't do it justice. Wonderful location in the back of the complex, lots of privacy, close to the pool and hot tub, and just a minute's walk to the beautiful beach. We will definitely be returning to Blue Paradise year after year!

Fabulous Stay!

My family of four (husband, myself, 5 year old, and 2 year old) all stayed in this one bedroom condo- it was plenty of room! The bunk beds were nice and big for the kids- and the sofa made a pretty big bed itself- and the master bedroom bed was very comfortable. The condo was very neat and even smelled really good. There were plenty of towels, blankets, dishes, and even little notes throughout the house that welcomed you and suggested places to go (eat, etc...) The condo is located right outside the entrance to the pool- which was very convient- and the beach took at the most 2 minutes to walk to. Private beach access was awesome- it was so less crowed that other parts of the beach- and MUCH more clean! The hot tub was awesome at night- and the pool was refreshing in the heat of the day. Sherri was awesome about responding to any and all request. This condo is convient to EVERYTHING- Destin and Miramar Beach has sooo much to offer. You must visit Cheesburger in Paradise- which is only 2 miles away in Miramar Beach- and while in Destin (which is only 3-5 miles away) visit the Lighthouse, which has GREAT seafood- and 1/2 off prices starting at 4:30! Overall all- great condo, great location, great price! You will not go wrong in this condo!!

Amazing, Cozy, Immaculate!!

We just got back today from our amazing stay in this condo. Let me preface that I searched hundreds of condos, and either they were nice but too expensive, or affordable but didn't look so nice. It all changed when I saw this rental. I felt like writing a positive review even before we got there since the owner, Sherri, was SUCH A PLEASURE to deal with!! She helped us with everything and anything we needed. We weren't sure at first whether we needed a 2 bedroom since we have a 2 yr. old son and this condo didn't have a crib. Sherri was amazing and hooked us up with someone who rents cribs in the area and she helped us to be able to have a crib for our son. We were able to put the crib along the long hallway - so at night we were able to have the whole apt. for ourselves without worrying if we were waking up the baby. it was perfect since there are no windows along that hallway so he was able to sleep late, which meant WE were able to sleep late too! Speaking of sleeping late, the bed/bedding is heavenly comfortable. (And I'm usually very picky with these things). The entire condo is immaculate and decorated really beautifully and tastefully. While the condo is not right on the beach, It's about a minute walk from the beach, and the unit is right near the pool. The back porch opens to a beautiful grassy/flowery area which was also really nice! (you should put up pictures of it!) The decor is very modern and classy, it is so clean, and had everything we needed. The TVs were great too. There's also a really good stereo system. The condo is in the heart of everything and was a great find! If you want a great place to stay at an affordable price, and as I told Sherri, she brings "customer satisfaction" to a whole new level- so if you want an overall great and pleasant experience, from booking your stay, to your actual stay-- this is the spot! We had an amazing time, thanks again for everything!!

This condo is beautiful! It has a wonderful location right by the beach, and right down the road from everything else. We could not have been happier with our stay. This condo was wonderful because it really has everything you need for an extended stay, from the kitchen utensils to the extra towels. It was really great. And as of July 2nd, NO OIL! We will be back to blue paradise!

Cheerleading Competition!!

I stayed in this beautiful condo with my 13 year old daughter, my sister and her 2 young girls. We were in Destin for a cheerleading competition. The condo was very clean and well maintained. Sherri, the owner, provided us with excellent customer service before and during our stay. The condo is right next to the pool and just across the street from the beach. We would love to come back and stay again!!

My husband, two girls (ages 16 and 12) and I had a wonderful spring break in Destin. Our condo was absolutely perfect! We had everything we needed and more. It was very clean, neat and looked even better in person. It is in a great location right next to the pool, parking lot and just across the street from the beach. It was very easy to cross the street. Traffic wasn't bad and it's only 25 miles per hour. This was a very relaxing vacation. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. The owner, Sherri, is so nice and helpful. She e-mailed me info on activities in the area before the trip. We hope to go back again next year. I highly recommend this condo. You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I stayed at the Blue Paradise and absolutely loved it. Accommodations are great and the place was spotless. Could not believe how close we were to the beach and pool. My friends stayed on the third level and were so jealous of us because we found this perfect first floor unit. Very, very, cute place. Thanks.

We had an absolute blast!!! Thank you...thank you...thank you...Sherri. The condo is adorable and super clean. It is so cute. My family and I had a blast. The pool and beach are right there, so it made for the perfect vacation. I had never visited Destin before. But as I told Sherri, the owner, I will be back again. I truly had the best vacation and got lucky with the location and accommodations. Great A+!

Call it luck of the draw. I had never used HomeAway, but heard about it from a friend. I was a little nervous at first, but selected this condo. I liked the pictures. To my pleasant surprise, this condo was perfect. It's beautiful, even prettier than pictured. I stayed at the beach all day and loved the fact that the condo is right across from the beach. I couldn't have asked for a better location. Also, Blue Paradise gave me excellent customer service. You couldn't ask for more friendly people to rent from. I am going to come back. Destin is beautiful.

My family and I (2 adults, 2 children) vacationed here for a week this summer and it was truly the best vacation that we have ever had. The beaches are spectacular! The accommodations were fabulous! Everything we that we needed was included in the condo, even beach umbrellas and chairs. The facilities were very clean and the environment was most welcoming. I highly recommend this rental.

This is not an exageration. I had the best vacation of my life. The condo is beautiful and even more than we expected. It is adorable and has everything you will need, except the groceries. I had never been to Destin before. The beaches are unbelieveably beautiful. I also loved that this particular condo is right in front of the pool. My kids had a blast. Last point, the customer service received by the owners was top notch. What a find. We'll be back next year.
