This nearly new (2003), five-bedroom, five and one-half bath home with an outdoor shower is just two blocks from beaches, town, shops, and restaurants. A car is not needed, but there is ample parking for several.
You enter the AIR CONDITIONED home from a covered front porch into a hallway leading to four bedrooms, each with a full bath and shower. There is one queen-size bedroom with a fireplace and a deck leading to the back lawn. There is another queen size bedroom and two bedrooms with two twin-size beds in each. Between the bedrooms is a large sitting area/media room with TV/DVD/CD. There is a laundry room on this floor as well
The second floor is a large open room with a vaulted ceiling, brick fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, and dining area. There is a separate office on this floor as well. Large sitting area with 3 sofas, as well as TV,DVD,VCR, and CD stereo. A large deck with a gas grill, table and chairs overlooks a beautiful open space with views of the First Congregational Church steeple. Upstairs is the master suite with a king-size bed, jetted tub and separate shower, sitting area, TV, and distant ocean view.

Year Purchased: 2005
Although we have lived in the Rocky Mountain States of Colorado and Utah since the 70's we have always searched for the perfect location for an "Ocean Getaway".
We found it on Nantucket and Brant Point in particular.
Both of our sons are skiers and surfers so our family has the best of both worlds here in Utah and Nantucket.
I taught them to ski and they taught me to surf.
Why the Owner Chose Brant Point
Our first vacation on Nantucket was in 1984 when our sons were just 1 and 4. Until we purchased our first home on Nantucket in 1996 we rented different homes from nearly one end of the island to the other. But we always gravitated back to Brant Point. You just cannot find a better location for a vacation on Nantucket for the convenience of being able to walk to shops, restaurants, beaches and the ferry, not to mention the "Juice Bar" for that homemade ice cream. When we sold that first home we owned on the island in 2005 we bought our new home just 5 houses down the street.
We just could not leave the island or Brant Point.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Did I mention the convenience of the location of our home to all the amenities of the Town of Nantucket. The fact that you can walk to town for the newspaper or a quart of milk gives our location that small town New England feel. Even with the proximity to town our roomy home with it's large back yard has all the privacy you may desire. Additionally my wife has equipped our home with all the essentials she can think of in general and the kitchen in particular. From a coffee bean grinder to the food processor, from lobster cracking tools to the steamer, it is all there.
