The pictures on the website perfectly represent this wonderful townhouse! This was one of the only properties we were able to find with three master suites, which was such a luxury. The furnishings were very comfortable and made us feel right at home. We cooked the majority of our meals and appreciated the well stocked kitchen including ample cookware and serving dishes. The location of this unit is perfect...close to town, close to the clubhouse, and ocean pool. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a reasonably priced well appointed place to stay in Lahaina.

Luxury you expect for the money!!

Our family stayed one week in Oahu prior to our week stay in Maui and our rentals couldn't have been more opposite! Our Oahu house was not what it was represented to be online and only had a curtain for the door to the master bathroom, so it was such a relief to walk into this rental and see that is was exactly like it looks online, if not better! I am telling you, the reviews don't lie, the location is great. It was quiet, close to Lahaina, to the beach (but not directly on), to many excursions (we recommend Warren and Annibelle's), to shopping (don't shop at the Luxury Sunglass Boutique on Front St, the owner is a jerk!), to restaurants (eat at Leoda's a short drive away), and not far from the grocery store. We have been to Maui before and it is hard to find a place that has the upgrades that have been done in this one. This is the luxury you expect when you are spending this kind of money on vacation. If you plan on spending any time inside, or cooking at home, this is perfect. I liked that the pantry was stocked with some basics. You got the feeling that the people who stayed before you left things in hopes that you would have as great a time as they did. And then you do the same for the ones after you, and we are all a part of lucky few who got to stay at such a nice place. Sounds cheesy, I know, but believe me, after the week we had on Oahu with a broken microwave for four days and the manager outside the sliding glass door at 7:00 in the morning looking in at us, (etc), you can't imagine the difference. There were 8 of us, 5 adults and 3 kids. It worked well for us, as two of the kids slept on the pull out sofa. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms aren't right on top of each other, which is nice. The washer and dryer being inside is very convenient, and the place was clean when we arrived. If we come back with our family, we will stay here again. It is my understanding that the same owners have smaller units as well, so maybe a trip for two next time! Put your renting fears at ease, your money is well spent here, you don't need to keep looking. You found it!

From the first email I sent it was a pleasure to deal with Cathy. The reservation process was easy and Cathy immediately addressed my fears about renting over the internet! The pictures didn't do the property justice! We walked into the unit at night and went from room to room, each one better than the last! The unit was equipped with many more items than we expected, all for our comfort & convenience. Everything in the unit was of very high quality! The kitchen was extremely well stocked with dishes and cooking items. The beds are so comfortable! We were 3 couples and we had plenty of room to cook & socialize together as well as privacy for each couple in our separate suites. The location is superb! We walked into Lahaina daily! The grounds at Puamana are quiet, immaculate well manicured, and there are many things to do! You can hear the ocean from the upstairs bathrooms! You feel very safe and comfortable. If you are considering a vacation in Maui, this is the place to go!

Stayed for two weeks at Puamana and absolutely loved it. Having the 3 King suites was definitely a plus as there were 5 of us in our party. The condo is spacious and very clean. The pools are clean and well kept, as are the grounds. Would definitely rent that unit again. Because I have friends that reside in Maui we had BBQ's practically every night. Even the Kamaaina's (locals) thought the condo was the best. If you visit during whale season check out Trilogy Whale Watches. They only take small groups of people and the whales put on an amazing show for us. Also, check out Old Lahaina Luau if you want to experience Hawaii the way it used to be. A great show as well as the Aloha Spirit!!!

We had the good fortune to stay in this Puamana property for a family vacation. As the other reviews have noted, everything exceeded our expectations: location, quality of the home, amenities, communication with the owner, and the wonderful sunsets! We live in Hawaii and are familiar with many other areas and rentals throughout the islands. Puamana is hands-down one the best places for an ocean- based family vacation. Great home, great location away from the crowds-just a really good feel. Thank you for your attention to detail and for sharing your home.

What a welcome to Maui! This unit is everything one could ask for - renovated, clean, safe, comfortable and beautiful. And the grounds are wonderful...pools ( the "ocean" pool in the photos is the closest one to the unit), tennis courts and less than 10 minutes by car to Lahaina's Front St for the shopping and the nightlife....it really couldn't have been better. The unit is fully equipped and during our stay, we entertained friends on the great patio who were fully in awe of our living arrangements. My only wish was that I could have stayed longer! We had a wonderful, relaxing family vacation in this lovely welcoming vacation home! Every thing was exactly as described in the listing description regarding the location. We enjoyed our meals on the lanai, and the beautiful sunsets over Maui each day! Afternoons at the pool were relaxing and peaceful. We loved the quiet pool. What a pleasure! We're looking foward to our next vacation and can't wait to be back.

My family (husband, in-laws & grandparent-in-laws) came to stay in Puamana. This was the perfect place to stay, literally! The individual master suites provided each couple with privacy, yet the unit provided all the comforts of home. We spent countless hours on the lanai, eating, drinking, laughing, playing cards. We loved that we were seconds from the water (the coast, the beach & the pool!). We were also pleased to be so close to Lahainatown and Kaanapali. When we had an issue with the dryer, we called Cathy & she had maintenance there within the hour to fix the problem. We WILL be back to this unit, and highly recommend it to ANYONE visiting Maui!

A Home Away From Home

We just got back from spending a fantastic week at this condo. We had three couples in our group and the condo fit us just perfectly. We each had our own master suite and the rooms and bathrooms were absolutely gorgeous - spacious and very accommodating. The kitchen was large and functional and the living room had welcoming furniture. However, we spent a good portion of our time in the downstairs lanai. Between the large BBQ, comfy outdoor furniture and gorgeous weather, it was a favorite spot for all of us. Besides the great condo, we enjoyed using the pool, adjacent to the beach. It was so relaxing to listen to the ocean while either swimming or just laying out. If we felt adventurous, we'd grab the condo boogie boards and head out to do some body boarding. For the most part, there really isn't a sandy beach near the condo, however, the surfing and body boarding is awesome in this spot. You just need to watch out for the rocks and the local surfers who also like this spot. A quick walk will quickly find you a more sandy spot. If you choose to leave your kingdom, the town of Lahaina is less than a mile away. It's not a terribly long walk but we chose to drive due to uncomfortable shoes. Parking can be really difficult but the shops and places to eat make it worth it. The city felt very safe to walk around in as did the grounds of Puamana. Everyone was so welcoming and beyond friendly - the true "aloha" spirit was evident. Some of the activities we did while in Maui included the Old Lahaina Luau (which was a total blast!), the road to Hana (made it the whole way - although it was a tad scary in parts), Seven Sacred Pools, Black Sands Beach, Kaanapali Beach, and golfing. I can't wait to come back and stay here again. Cathy truly has made her condo your home away from home.

We loved our stay in this rental unit. There were 7 of us, including a toddler and baby, and the unit was more than accommodating, even including "boogie boards"! We cooked many of our meals here and the kitchen provided all the equipment we needed. The lanai is just wonderful - so private! The owner was most helpful also in giving us great advice regarding the rental of stroller, beds, etc. for our baby grandson. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely time in this condo which was clean and well appointed. There is a BBQ grill on the patio downstairs and a partial view of the ocean from the upstairs balcony. The only thing I would mention is that because of the HOA my boyfriend and his brother were asked to stop playing catch by an older gentleman who told them it was a "no play zone" a little strange and didn't harm our fun at all. Also you should know that it has a great washer and dryer if you are on a long trip and the manager was able to get us a late check-out which REALLY made our day! Thanks!

We really enjoyed our trip to Maui, due in large part to this great Condo. There were 4 adults and 4 children on our trip and we were VERY comfortable. The condo has all the amenities you could wish for and the quality is superb. The location of the condo on the property is terrific; close to the water, pools, club house, tennis courts and playfield. The property is well secured and very quiet and the grounds are well maintained. The proximity to Lahaina made this an easy pick for us. We would recommend this condo to anyone. We can't wait to go back. Mahalo!

My friends and I just returned from a 10 day stay and had the most wonderful experience. This was our second trip to Maui and would now never stay anywhere else. The pictures are wonderful but when you see the house in person it will blow you away. Every detail of this house is amazing from the kitchen, to the equally beautiful 3 bedrooms, to the views. The owner of the house was always availabe to answer any questions we had and they even provided beach towels. The house is in the best location close enough to walk to front street and a short drive to kanapali. I would recommend this home to anyone and all I can say is we can't wait to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the unit in Puamana We had 3 couples and there was plenty of room for all of us. It was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed laying out by the ocean and just listening to the waves and watching the whales. The unit was well equiped and there were directions on how to use everything there. Close enough to walk into town with many good restaurants to choose from. We would definitely go there again!

Just returned from our visit to Maui, and even with inclement weather our group of three couples had a wonderful stay in this townhouse. We spent a lot of time catching up on lost years sitting on the lanai and enjoying the amenities of this beautiful, newly remodeled unit. Walks around the ocean resort, trips into Lahaina and a round or two of golf made our vacation complete.

My family and I just returned from a wonderful week at this property. We found the property to be very clean and well kept. The location was great with a beautiful pool beside the ocean. We were lucky enough to see whales right out in front of the pool! A nice morning stroll into Lahaina for coffee was an enjoyable treat! My wife and our four children stayed at Unit 20.1 at Puamana for two weeks in July of 2010. The unit was just perfect for our needs—exquisitely furnished, lovely location near the beach, convenience to the downtown Lahaina area and very quiet. Moreover, it is located in a well-maintained, gated community, in which security was never a question. I recommend it highly as a wonderful place to relax and unwind in a lovely setting with a near perfect climate. We plan to return.

The Only Place We Will EVER Stay on MAUI!

We have traveled to Maui 4 times, and THIS is the only place we will stay for all future visits! Our 3 teenagers scrambled thru the house upon arrival, squealing with delight. Whoops and hollers, "did you see this?" It is HARD to impress teenagers and they loved it. We invited another couple to join us, and we all were impressed. Bed quality is amazing. High quality new mattresses, new linens and towels. The condo is newly remodeled, and extremely lovely. The decor is modern and clean. Not the old Hawaiian faded pastel prints we have seen everywhere else! We didn't feel like we "cheated" our guests by keeping the master bedroom for ourselves, because all 3 are beautiful. All have beautifully tiled showers and perfect decor. All 3 bedrooms are private enough that 3 couples could share the condo and feel like they were having a romantic getaway all to themselves! The kitchen is well stocked with spices, nice dishes and plenty of cookware and utensils. The BBQ on the downstairs lanai made for a nice stay at home dinner. The downstairs lanai has a ceiling fan, and comfy furniture. THe upstairs lanai is shared by the 2 upstairs bedrooms, and is a nice quiet spot in the morning to hear the waves nearby. The air conditioning worked great - a must for my husband with M.S. The property itself is quiet and the grounds are well kept. The old clubhouse has charm and is often empty, offering a quiet place to read or visit with friends. My kids and I walked to the sandy swimming beach that is on property while my husband rested in the afternoons, or spent time in the pool at the oceanfront, which was an added bonus. The location is perfect. IT is a long walk to Lahaina, not for kids or those who tire easily, but nice for those who like to walk :) Easy drive down backstreets to Lahaina, and a quick drive up the highway to MANY wonderful sandy beaches for swimming, snorkeling, and exploring. All in all, this condo is a dream! My only hesitation writing such a wonderful review, is I want to keep it a secret for myself! For those of you fortunate enough to spend time here, Aloha - and enjoy!

This unit is so beautiful and has everything you could want. The ocean views were fantastic and the home is in a perfect location. Everything from the decor to the last decorator detail was perfect. I hope to book again soon and request this same home. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners while there. There were a total of 8 adults on our trip and there was plenty of room for us all. A most memorable trip!!

Perfect Puamana Rental

This newly remodeled unit at Puamana was perfect for our family vacation. The three master suites provided the needed sleeping accomodations and privacy for our three couples. The kitchen was well equipped with a nicely stocked pantry. We loved how the sound system was hooked up so that we could hear our favorite music anywhere in the house PLUS the lower level lanai. Great location (close to downtown Lahaina). This property certainly helped make our stay on Maui very relaxing. We would definitely consider staying here again. Cathy is very easy to work with. Thanks for giving us such a great Hawaiian vacation this year.

This newly renovated Puamana rental is the perfect rental for anyone wishing to be close to Lahaina, yet away from the crowds. The 3 master bedroom suites are beautifully decorated and the unit has everything anyone would need in a condo rental. Located within walking distance to Lahaina, the resort is peaceful and beautiful. Sitting oceanside and watching the whales play in the channel was an extraordinary experience. I would definitely recommend this rental!

This unit was newly and quite beautifully remodeled when we rented it in Feb 2010. The well designed rooms are spacious and rival any high quality hotel. Each room was private with its own bathroom and access to a shared lanai. The kitchen supplied all the appliances, dishware and cookware needed and the unit had plenty of beach towels for us to use. We were able to walk to the beach with our 3 year old and were only a 30 minute walk from Lahaina's Banyan Tree. Truly a beautiful unit in a great location that we hope to rent again.

Look No Further. This has everything you need! We were the first to stay in this unit after the recent remodel. It exceeded our expectations! The owners were great to work with. We found their level of integrity and professionalism to be beyond reproach. My husband and I stayed here with two other couples and it worked out perfectly. There is plenty of room for gathering and we all had our own private suite to relax in. We will plan our next vacation to Maui around the availability of this place. Beautifully renovated condo for three couples

We highly recommend this renovated condo for three couples with up to two children; each of the three masterbedroom suites is very nice. The overall location is excellent; it is in a well-maintained gated-community, about 100' from a shoreline and 200' from a pool. The kitchen is much better than would be found in motels, hotels, or B&Bs. Our group of seven included two excellent cooks; almost every night we cooked large family-style meals and ate them on the lanai.
