The Royal Mauian was built on a lava flow with long sandy beaches on each side. These are 2 of Maui's most beautiful beaches, Kamaole I and II. A one minute walk from our Unit to either beach or to the fresh water pool.
Furnished with upgraded amenities not usually found in a rental unit. We renovated and furnished our unit for our families enjoyment. Kitchen features maple cabinetry and granite counters, as do the bathrooms, all renovated in 07 and 08. All floor coverings were replaced in 9/10 and a second 32" LCD TV was installed in the master bedroom.
Tropical furnishings and art make this Unit as memorable as your Maui vacation. Children will love the large container of sand toys and beach equipment, including boogie boards, umbrellas and beach mats. You will also find games and a collection of our grandson's favorite videos.
You will find spices in the cupboards, Irish crystal wine glasses, Mr. Coffee, waffle iron, espresso machine, mixer and blender to make your stay "feel like home".
Fall asleep listening to ocean sounds and watch the passing lights in the ocean view Master Suite. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets each night. The middle section location of our unit in the building allows a wide-angle view of the ocean's beauty. We want you to return again and again to enjoy "Our Maui Paradise".
A unique feature is the Roof Garden, with 360 degree views, featuring gas BBQ, tables and a complete kitchen for evening dining. It is also available for private time during the day. A furnished picnic basket makes roof top dining easy.
We are very family friendly, and have a Fisher Price Playpen
for the comfort and safety of our toddler guests.

The Kihei Boat Harbour is 1/3 mile away, and provides water/boat adventures without driving all the way to Lahaina. Good surfing beach is only a short distance up Kihei Road, with rental equipment.

Why the Owner Chose Royal Mauian
We went looking "for the best" when our family made the decision to purchase a condo in Kihei. We found it, after looking at over 125 units
all over the Island of Maui. #316 at The Royal Mauian fit all our criteria, the biggest one being we had to SEE the ocean when we opened the front
door and had to HEAR the ocean sounds all night long! We spend hours on our lovely lanai, enjoying the view of 3 Islands.....and the turtles that feed on the reef entertain us during breakfast and each night at cocktail time. Our grandsons have grown up going to Maui each year, they enjoy
the independence of being able to "walk" to the beach by themselves, or across the street for a shaved ice or ice cream. The grocery story within easy walking is also enjoyed by Grandma! Daughter enjoys the expresso shack across the street and
Grandpa the great "take out" close by.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Our family loves the shopping center across the street and the ability to have both fine dining and fast food without getting in the car.
The 2 beaches on either side, with such easy access, were the final selling point. Being able to watch the famous Maui sunsets each evening
and the turtles feeding on the reef in front of the lanai each morning are extra benefits. The Airport is a 20 minute drive and wonderful golf courses are close by in Wailea. The Maui Bus stop is 1/4 block down the street.

Easy access to the beach. Everything is very close by. The roof top has a beautiful BBQ area, which is also equipped with kitchen for those late night Fish BBQ's. This is the place to be for a perfect sunset. You can snorkel right in front of the Condo, you will definitely run into a few turtles. That was a very fun experience for my wife and family. Parking is easy and Condo grounds are very, very clean. Maui fish Tacos is right across the street. Along with a Nail Place thats out of this world right next door to Subway! Best Maui Trip Ever!!!! We've stayed at this condo many times the past 10 years. This condo is very clean, very comfortable beds, has absolutely everything you need in the kitchen, etc., and has been updated beautifully. We loved eating on the large roof top garden. It has an AMAZING ocean front view where you can see the whales right from the lanai. Its convientely located near both beaches and has a wonderful pool. Another thing I really enjoy about this unit is that the grounds at Royal Mauian are very nice and kept very clean. It also doesn't hurt that my favorite restaurant is directly across the street - Cafe Olei. In face there are many convenient stores directly across the street. The owners are extremely nice people and very easy to deal with. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We had a great holiday at this wonderful condo in Maui. The view from the lanai was more amazing than I ever expected. I loved sitting in my chair and looking at the beautiful ocean and sky over and over again everyday. The condo was well kept ? absolutely clean and confortable. We had a perfect stay from the moment we walked through the condo door, because it was fully equipped with everything we needed. One other big plus was that the owner was such a nice lady ! She contacted us many times by email and gave us a lot of useful information. I 'm sure that this is the perfect condo for everyone !!

We had a great vacation and our condo was a big part of it. The condo was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. And working with the owner was easy. What makes this condo special is the view and proximity to the ocean and beaches. I could literally throw a rock from the balcony and have it land in the ocean. We spent much of our free time on the balcony, enjoying the view. At night, we fell asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. In a word, it was magnificent. Our friend who lives nearby was even amazed by the condo and the view. If you love the ocean and beach, you won't find a better place to stay in south Maui. We hope to return someday. Perfect Maui condo for our family of four

We spent our first week in Maui here and it was perfect. We have two younger children (7 and 9) so comfort was important to us. Having a spacious condo right on the water, within walking distance to shops and restaurants made life very relaxing for us. It's like they say, "location, location, location" and this condo has it. If you're looking at other properties, make sure you look at them on google cause many are across the highway from the ocean. Where we got to sit on our lanai and enjoy the ocean, others get to enjoy the sights and sounds of traffic on S. Kihei Rd. The condo itself is clean and very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms have been recently updated and are great. Our master bedroom opened directly to the lanai and we listened to the ocean every night while falling asleep. The condo was also stocked with a bunch of useful gear like chairs, boogey-boards, towels, cooler, picnic basket, etc, etc. And the views... You have a full 180 degree view of the ocean from the lanai and can see all the local islands - simply spectacular. One feature we really enjoyed was snorkeling the reef just steps from our unit. It's a veritable 'Finding Nemo' down there! Tons of tropical fish and if you get out early in the morning or later in the afternoon, you're sure to spot sea turtles that apparently feed on the reef. It my family's first time snorkeling and was an amazing experience, and so easy. We did take the boat trip to snorkel on Molokini, and while the water was clearer (and the boat ride generally very enjoyable), the quality and quantity of fish you can see on our local reef was as good or even better. Another feature we liked was the rooftop garden with BBQs. I was a little skeptical reading the other reviews but was really impressed when I got there. Four brand new full size grills ready to cook, a sink, fridge and counter space made it very easy to grill or just hang out and enjoy the sunset. Last of all, South Kihei was exactly the right fit for us. We loved being walking distance to shops, restaurants and beaches. We also really enjoyed the vibe of Kihei which felt very relaxed and 'Hawaiian' to us. We explored some of the larger hotels like the Grand Wailea and they felt like 'Disney-Hawaii' instead of the real thing. Kihei is the way to go. Enjoy your trip!

The location of your lovely condo is just the best....my teen daughters were thrilled with the shops across the street and the freedom of "going to the beach by themselves". Thank you for all the special touches, we enjoyed the waffle iron and the games. The turtles came each morning to entertain us while having our coffee on the lanai.

Great condo, supplied with everything one could hope for a perfect vacation, whether you are honeymooning or bringing your family. Spacious and clean with an unbeatable view and access to as much activity (restaurants, hiking, water sports, shopping), or relaxation (gorgeous pool, two beautiful beaches, and near-by spas) as you desire. My husband and I definitely recommend it!

Previous to finding this unit we have stayed on the 6th floor and others on the 3rd. This is by far the best unit in the building with a centralized view and away from the street (noise). All amenities are very close. Lucy keeps the unit well maintained and clean. We have stayed with her 3 times now and have never been disappointed. I strongly recommend this unit on your next vacation. David and Lisa Cochrane Alberta
