Oceanfront Condo in Manzanillo - Direct Access to Sandy Beach
Year Purchased: 2009
Why the Owner Chose Manzanillo
We sat listening to the waves and taking in the fabulous view from the lobby of Elegance Blue (formerly known as Pacifico Azul) while visiting friends, and just knew that we wanted to return again and again. The only sure way of being able to do so, and of knowing that we could stay in a renovated unit, was to buy an apartment and modernize it. We are so glad that we did, and hope that you will enjoy your stay as much as we do.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Hearing the waves at night and having a lovely air flow through the apartment are two of the wonders we enjoy at Elegance Blue. All of the windows, back and front (even the kitchen) have sea views, which is just amazing. There are lots of nearby restaurants and coffee shops - and grocery shopping is easy too. Just a wonderful place to be!

The condo is wonderful. It is well cared for and has everything one needs to relax and chill. The location is excellent. People around the pool told us the condo we rented was one of the better ones in the complex! 3 of us stayed for two weeks and it wasn't long enough. The complex is maintained daily, maids sweeping and scrubbing the patios, the chaise loungers and patio tables were washed daily. The complex is close to restaurants, grocery stores etc. all within walking distance. Quick bus ride into Centro. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to return.
Owner response:Thank you so much, Deborah. We're glad that you and your friends enjoyed the condo and Manzanillo. Do hope we have the pleasure of welcoming you again some time!

Just as advertised with the bonus that we met the owners and their Canadian friends/owners as well... We've used vrbo website several times with total success. The condo has brand new everything - the only item I couldn't find was a garlic press! Inside the complex you're completely shut off from everything except the sound of the surf and the pool is absolutely the biggest we've ever seen. Totally relaxing, loved the shipping traffic activity in this 2nd busiest Pacific coast port and the sunsets are amazing. Temperature was perfect day and night ... access to grocery store and many good, inexpensive restaurants just a few minutes walk away. If you're new to Mexico, rest assured the bus service is truly amazing - go anywhere dirt cheap! Hats off to Luis on the front desk and Joel at the bar, both of whom could not do enough to help us with any questions. Joel suggested a daytrip to Barra de Navidad which was well worth it. All staff were most gracious and truly welcoming - they appreciate tourists very much.
Owner response:What a lovely review, Dianne and Mark. Thank you, so much - glad you had a great vacation! Hope you'll return some day. You'll be glad to know we now have a garlic press, so you'll have no worries next time!

Our week in Pacifico Azul was fantastic. I can't thank you enough for letting us stay there. When we first arrived we were greeted by Luis. He was attentive to all our needs. We enjoyed the pool and the swim up bar was fantastic. The beach was beautiful but the waves were a little intimidating. So I just stuck to the water in the pool. We enjoyed snorkeling, going to other beaches around the area, zip lining was awesome, and the highlight of the week was the banana ride. Which we managed to fall off of three times and we were just half way through the ride. By the third fall we had given up. It was very hard to get back on the banana!!! We also enjoyed the food in Manzanillo. Our favorite were the tacos. Especially the ones just around the corner from the condo. I hope to make this an annual trip. As far as the condo goes, I wouldn't change a thing. Everything was perfect. We had all the comforts of home.
Owner response:Thank you so much for writing this, Leslia. We're glad you had such a lovely time!

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful 4 days at the Pacifico Azul. We weren't sure where to stay initially and then saw the listing for this condo. There's always a little apprehension in renting sight unseen but we were comfortable with our email correspondence with the owners prior to the rental. The condo was everything we hoped for and was accurately represented in the listing and by the owner. It is a very nice condo with a view to the beach overlooking the huge pool. The kitchen and the bathrooms have been updated and the overall condition was very nice. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the terrace in the morning having coffee and listening to the sound of the birds and watching the waves roll-in. The pool is incredible. We would have liked to have spent more time in it but had so much else to do on our short stay we couldn't. It has some separate shallow pools for kids, a nice single depth huge open area and a jacuzzi on top of the swim up snack bar. A bit more about the Pacifco Azul. It's location is fantastic! You're just a few walking minutes away from Sorriano's, WalMart, a small mall, and many nice restaurants. Being able to easily walk to anything we needed was incredibly convenient and relaxing. You can even walk down the beach to WalMart and some of the restaurants. We didn't need to rent a car but if you do there is ample parking at the Pacifico Azul included with the condo. We primarily used foot and taxi's but would have felt very comfortable with the buses had we had more time to use them. The staff at the Pacifico Azul was also extremely helpful in answering any questions we had - it is really great to have someone on site to help getting around town. All in all we had a very good, relaxing, comfortable experience and would recommend this condo to anyone looking for the same. My thanks to the owners for being conscientious about providing a good experience for the rentors.
Owner response:Thank you for a wonderful review, Doug!

We just returned from Manzanillo...what a fabulous time! The condo is bright, well equipped and spacious. The balcony is a wonderful, relaxing place to sit and enjoy the views. The pools and amenities are comfortable and staff make you feel very welcomed and are very helpful. Many delicious restaurants are well within walking distance. I recommend highly!
