This authentic Maine knotty pine cottage is spacious, warm and very private. You will be 5 steps from the dock and lake. Cottage has charming fieldstone fireplace, wood stove and open floor plan. Wrap around screened-in porch for dining or lounging. Every room faces the lake and has great views. A 1/2 mile long private lake road leads down to the cottage. You look across the lake at Nature Conservancy land, undeveloped and unspoiled. This is a quiet area of the lake with little boat activity.
Two bedrooms have queen beds and one bedroom has 2 twin beds. Master has its own full bath and walk in closet. Kitchen is spacious, has great lake views and direct access to the screened-in porch where you'll choose to eat most of the time. The interior is traditional tongue and groove knotty pine throughout and the cottage is fully outfitted with kitchen supplies, new linens, dish washer, washer and dryer, stereo, satellite TV, DVD and high speed wireless internet. Private tennis court available with prior arrangement.
A majestic 75 foot pine tree frames the cottage just feet away and creates the perfect setting. Lake breezes flow through the house cooling it on warm days and the fireplace keeps things warm and cozy on chilly Maine evenings. With towns such as Camden, Rockport, Rockland, Port Clyde, Searsport, Belfast and many more to explore... this cottage is the perfect spot from which to enjoy the Maine coast. Or, stay right here and enjoy the lake and natural wooded setting.
