This vaction rental is a great location for walking almost anywhere. It is well kept, however, be prepared to bring your own bath soap, paper towels, etc, no ice tray in freezer so you will have to purchase ice and bath towels were limited to two (one quite worn). We have stayed at VRBO's across the country and never had to bring our own supplies.
Owner response:I feel horrible about this review and apologize! We live right down stairs and take pride in being available for folks. Please let us know your needs and we will do the best we can to fix it right then and there! The above needs were all really easily fixable. So sorry!

I recently stayed at Brandie and Joel's apartment for a mother/daughter week-end with my two girls, the oldest goes to CU. It was sunny, spacious and very clean. The location is prime, just steps away from Pearl Street with all its great restaurants and shopping. A nice stroll to the biggest and best Whole Foods I have ever been to and an equally big Barnes and Noble. There is no shortage of place to walk to from this address. We will definitely return hopefully sooner than later.

My mother and I stayed here when in Boulder visiting my son at CU. The place was lovely and very clean. Brandee, Joel, Charlie and Willow are such a nice family. They made us feel welcome-- even had fresh yellow tulips on the counter, upon our arrival. The location is fantastic and with a separate entrance, it allowed privacy for us and the family. The apartment is a very short walk to Pearl St. and wonderful restaurants and shopping, which my mom and I loved. The first night we didn't want to go too far away--so ate at Ted's Montana Grill--the Laughing Goat is really close also--a very short walk, even for my mom. Parking was no problem at all--they even provided us with a parking pass, which made parking the car easy. The kitchen was complete with everything you need and we even made a great dinner there one night. A great experience and I would definately stay here again.

Our family (me + husband + 4 year old + 6 year old) stayed four nights here recently, and it was just fantastic. The apartment is very spacious, and the hardwood floors and built in cabinets are just beautiful. Speaking of the cabinets, lots of great storage space for clothes and luggage. Apartment is squeaky clean. Location couldn't be any better. Literally a block to Pearl street and great restaurants. Even with that proximity, apartment is very quiet and serene. Joel and Brandie are super too. They loaned us a sled for the kids one day, and were always very helpful for any questions we had about Boulder. They are good people, and you will feel welcome and comfortable here.

We stayed here a few of nights with our 9 month old baby, the house is lovely, super clean and comfortable! It really is within walking distance to so many places but the street is quiet and feels like its outside of the main traffic. The owners are very warm and welcoming and even offered us the use of baby equipment during our stay! The apartment is large enough to have guests over for drinks, a game, or entertaining if you know someone in town. Boulder is gorgeous and we would come again and stay in this fantastic home!

We had a great vacation at Brandie & Joel's top-floor apartment. Spacious (more so than photos indicated), clean, light, good ventilation/cross-breeze, two full/queen sleeping options (bedroom & living room futon), full kitchen setup, a library of interesting reading, easy stroll to a nice range of restaurant choices on Pearl and to Mapleton neighborhood sightseeing, no parking worries (pass provided), no noteworthy restrictions, quiet neighborhood, loaned bicycles and stroller, and a friendly and helpful landlord family - all these things made for the ideal Boulder vacation, and a comfortable place with our child. Don't EVERYbody signup, though, because we want to stay here again next year! Thanks Brandie & Joel. ~Brian & Marla

This apartment is one hundred times better than staying at a hotel. The wood floors, bathroom and kitchen have been upgraded and look fantastic. The place is accually much more spacious than it appears in the photos and provides ample cabinet room. The pristine location allows for easy access to some of Boulders best hiking trails and parks and is also one block over from Pearl Street. Dispite being so close to Pearl Street, it remains quite and peaceful where the home is situated.

The location was prime for our needs and proximity to Pearl Street Mall, Whole Foods, Library and The Yoga Workshop. The location could not have been better. The photos of the apartment did not do the space justice. The windows on every side of the house let an gleeming light in throughout the day, even when it was raining. Very angelic, peaceful and private at the same time. We appreciated the simple elegance, artful decoration and intentionality of space. The property was super clean and maintained! The bed was awesome feeling like some type of memory foam just like we have at home. We appreciated the care taken to preserve the time period of the house (like the claw foot tub) while at the same time incorporating modern technologies (flat screen TV and computer). The collection of books is curious, playful and passive; I enjoyed "browsing" the diverse titles while my wife was in class and my daughter was sleeping! Brandie and Joel were very helpful with our inquiry and accurately described everything to us. The only suprises we found was how nice the apartment truely is. Their kids Charlie and Willow are precious and Friday, the family dog is ultra sweet. We hope to stay here again the next time we are in Boulder studying yoga or Rolfing. We wish we would have had more time to enjoy the magnificent hiking and variety of restaurants. Maybe next time!

My husband and I both loved our recent stay at the Boulder Victorian....for him it was the space it provided and having the internet access while I soaked up its atmosphere of wooden heated floors, wooden built-ins, hooks, nooks and crannies, claw-footed bathtub, and welcoming bouquets of fresh flowers. The proximity to Pearl Street and surrounding activities is a huge bonus. I made it to the Tee's and Cupcakes store on 14th before it closed up shop on Saturday!!! Yummy cupcakes!! The weather gods were a little moody during our stay(a 105 year old temperature record low of 25 degrees was broken on 10/10 .....record is now 17 degrees!!! Chilly for October for us weather wimps!!!) Nevertheless, we survived the weather challenges and were kept quite warm and cozy by our surroundings. Recommend? Heartily....looking forward to booking with our hosts again .....Thanks Brandie and Joel!!!

This apartment is a jewel...perfect in all aspects from comfort to affordability. We loved the "zen" atmosphere of the apartment to the closeness of downtown Boulder and all its shops and resturants. We felt very much at home and would recommend highly. We will always check back for availability when returning to Boulder.

My partner and I stayed in this great apartment during the first week of September. It was AWESOME! The location was really convenient, and we were able to walk most places we wanted to go. Especially convenient was the public pool a few blocks away (MUCH nicer than any public pool here in NYC). The bikes that came with the rental were great for going along the Boulder Creek path and for quick trips to the grocery store. The house was stocked with everything we needed, and we could not have asked for anything better. We would definitely stay here again.

Wow...where do I begin! I spent a month with Brandie, Joel and Charlie while my daughter was having a baby. When I left I missed the three of them and the apartment as much as my children! The apartment is lovely , comfortable and in a fabulous location. It is right in the center of all that Boulder has to offer. Brandie and Joel have made it into a beautiful space and their warmth and hospitality are unmatched. I have been a travel agent for 35years and have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world...This sweet apartment ranks amoung the best of them in every way. I can't wait for a return visit and highly recommend staying there!

Three of us had a great experience during our five day stay with Brandi, Joel and Charlie. The location was perfect with easy access to downtown Boulder's Pearl St. Brandi and Joel have taken great care in renovating the upstairs apartment...separate bedroom, large, tasteful living room, kitchen area. We would agree with other comments that the photos don't due the apartment justice. The apartment is comfortable, clean and within walking distance to restaurants, easy access to Boulder's trail systems, bike rental...and if you don't want to cook breakfast, you can walk to breakfast or get your cup of coffee.

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful apartment in downtown Boulder and absolutely loved everything about it. We have previously stated at the Marriott but this place is way better and less expensive too. We'll definitely stay there again.

How perfect. From the fresh flowers in a vase, beautifully crafted apartment and the proximity to Pearl St, to the friendly family and border collie. We loved our stay and are trying to figure out when we can return to Boulder and definitely stay with Brandie and Joel again. I would recommend this rental for anyone one lucky enough to be traveling to Boulder.

The pictures for this property do not do it justice...it is just beautiful and very restful. We chose this location because we needed a separate bedroom (our two young children go to bed early and we didn't want to call it a night when they did!) and we wanted to be close to downtown. We had such a nice time...it was just perfect. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Boulder.
