In the summer -- Canoeing, kayaking, sailing, water-skiing and swimming from your private dock; along with hiking trails, horseback riding, resort PGA) golfing, antiquing, and fine dining all within FIVE MINUTES of your lakeside retreat. Biking tours along Rte 100 are also a popular summertime activity traveling North and South along the lakes and resorts of Vermont.
In the winter -- Skiing at the World Class Okemo Ski and Golfing Resort is five minutes away and the Killington lifts are only 15 minutes away; and five other major ski resorts within a short drive. Endless miles of Cross Country skiing from your door.
In the fall -- Foliage is bright and awesome with southern-central Vermont’s fabulous and colorful maples to be enjoyed from your deck or from a drive/hike up Okemo’s mountain road for a 100+ mile / 360 degree view.
In the evening -- Relax by a large stone fireplace, or enjoy the incredible nighttime sky that only unspoiled Vermont can afford will give you plenty of activity. For those of you with a more contemporary definition of entertainment, slap in a DVD and watch your favorite movie on the flat screen TV.
The large open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Enjoy family dining at the large table and breakfast bar in the open living space of the main floor. The master bedroom with queen bed and bath is also on the main living area.
The second and third bedrooms, an additional family room and bath are all located downstairs. Both living areas provide unobstructed wide views of Lake Rescue and the surrounding mountains.
