3 couples just returned from our stay at Suite Quarters in Ashland. We've rented many times before and have never had a more wonderful home. Darla pays attention to detail. You really feel like you are a guest in a great friend's home. The furnishings are high quality, the cupboards are filled with everything you need to be comfortable, (even the knives were sharp) and we loved toasting our toes by the fire pit each night. All 3 couples agree that we would recommend this home without reservation (as long as they don't book it when we want to return : - )

My Ashland stay

I would highly recommend this house as a rental while staying in Ashland. The pictures and description of the house are accurate. The house is clean, spacious, and well equipped. Our kids could play cards at the large dinning room table, watch movies or find their own space to read. The adults could be found outside around the gas firepit. Darla was an excellent rental manager.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Simply the Best - My second visit

This was my second time staying in this lovely home. It is not on the main thoroughfaire in a quiet residential area - an easy walk to town if you like hills. I have been with two different groups of friends, and both groups thoroughly enjoyed the home and its location. This is an elegant and welcoming home with wonderful appointments. The kitchen and dining area are ideal for folks who like to cook together. And although I like eating out, I find this a better overall experience, and certainly more cost effective, than staying in a lodge or hotel. The living room is comfortable and the outside firepit and gas barbeque make it a love place to just hang out and talk. Perfect for reunions, good friends, etc. For those who want, there is a fabulous collection of dvds, books, and board games. All the bedrooms are lovely - master suite wonderful. There is both a sleeping alcove and an additional day bed on the seconf floor so you can conceivably sleep 8. This is a marvelous rental - one I hope to return to again and again.

We loved the house and all the upscale details. The kitchen was perfect for our gourmet chef! The master bedroom had the most comfortable bed we've ever had in a rented house!! Thank you Darla for the perfect house!!

From the fully equipped kitchen, delightfully furnished dining and living areas to the 3 very spacious and comfortable bedrooms upstairs we felt at home the moment we arrived. The huge MBR and bath and the attached porch were a real special treat. The upstairs community area was well stocked with current books and games. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. The surrounding neighborhood was very quite and it is a short jaunt to town. The owner had left a booklet with local attractions, restaurants, etc. and was most helpful with our one question. The outdoor area was a delight in the evening around the fire pit. I would happily recommend this property to anyone and look forward to returning next year.

We recently stayed at "Suite-Quarters" and it was wonderful! The property was so perfectly stocked. The beds were comfortable and the home was absolutely beautiful, with a gourmet kitchen and cozy fireplace inside and fab outdoor fire ring, too. There was a great walking area with lovely flowers and even deer! It was close to town so we enjoyed all the plays and movies and incredible dining! We will definately be back and we'll definately stay at "Suite-Quarters"!!!

We were so impressed with the service and hospitality we received at this property. We had mentioned that we were going to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for my father and his wife who live in a retirement home in Ashland. Darla was so thoughtful that she bought a roasting pan and all the utensils that would allow us to cook our feast. She also provided a portable crib for our grandson. The whole stay was wonderful and the house is lovely. I will definitely stay there again. Nice neighborhood and close to town.

The home is more beautiful than its pictures, perfect for a group and socializing, roomy kitchen for multiple cooks, and in a very nice neighborhood with a nature park that we discovered on one of our morning walks. The owner was very accommodating. Great place to stay!

GREAT place to stay. Very clean and quit house. This is one of my favorite places I have ever stayed and will stay at again. The owner is very helpful and willing to go out of her way. Everthing was just PERFECT.
