  Whistler Retreat is absolutely fabulous! We loved our time there, and were completely impressed by how homey, and sweet the property was. They really did think of everything!! We've stayed in many hotels in Whistler, and none of them had all the little things you need while away (spices, teas, cooking items, toiletries). We really did feel like we were in our own home. The location is superb! I actually like the side of the village that Whistler Retreat is located. It's a bit off the beaten path, which is great, because the restaurants/cafes are less crowded, and less expensive. It's steps away from the "good" market in the village. I don't remember reading about laundry, but there is a washer/dryer in the unit, which is fabulous during the rainy season! Also, we discovered that there is bike storage (bring your own lock) in the underground parking garage. Clean, and well appointed! We loved our stay, and we will return!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  My husband and I were so pleased when we arrived at the condo. The location could not have been more convenient to town, yet wasn't in the midst of the craziness. There was plenty of room to settle in with all of our hiking things. The kitchen was so well stocked, we only needed to buy a few perishables to be quite comfortable eating breakfast at the condo each day. The bed was very comfortable, the fireplace was cozy, the grill and little patio were delightful (we cooked out one night), and there were nice restaurants within walking distance. The local 7/11 carried the NY Times each day - a must for 2 American east coasters. There was even a CD collection to enjoy! Our stay was 10 days, and since the weather is variable in the mountains, we were so glad that we had the condo rather than a cramped hotel room. Our car was very safe in the garage. There was even a friendly cat to greet us on the patio a few days. We loved it and would definitely stay there again. Thanks, Alice!

  This apartment was very luxuriously appointed~! very comfortable, and was filled with many more amenities than I even needed. A kitchen with every possible utensil; a fan for the bedroom in the hot night(s); a dining table area and living room area and a patio, and thoughtful touches like band-aids in the bathroom. All this for around $80/night (for one person)--just unbelievable. Although I could easily have made coffee in the morning, I went right across the street and had the best cappucino ever at the cafe there. This is a most lovely place to return to after a day of difficult hiking (or, in the winter, skiing). thank you very much, Alice!!

  It’s been our first visit to Whistler and it is easily one of the best vacations we ever had. Thank you to the owner. everything was done with so much care - from the easy booking online process to the nice complementary wine we enjoyed during the first evening. The location is ideal. The Village itself is something we’ve never seen before. The red, blue, and green night lights on the trees are simply unforgettable!Araxi was nice upscale place to dine but don;t go there unless you are comfortable spending at least $200 for a dinner for two.Absolutely positively we will come back!

  Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful and quiet retreat. We were looking for a “stress free” break and we certainly found that here.Valentine’s was special because we were able to walk across the street for a nice dinner at Quattro and come back and enjoy your wonderful bottle of wine.All the little extras are a great bonus and such a nice touch. That is the most comfortable bed and the sofa was also very inviting for enjoying the new flat screen TV and premium cable!

  What a place!! We love the condo, all the amenities (from cocoa, tea, soaps, lotion & mints) you thought of it all! An amazing location - we will return for sure. Sofa bed was unbelievably comfortable.When in the Village, be sure to visit Dub Linn Gate for some Irish tunes, check out Sushi Village and try Hy’s Steakhouse for an amazing meal!!Hope each and everyone of your guests enjoys Whistler as much as we did!Here’s to a new year!

  What a cute little place! We enjoyed the convenient skiing! It was a very nice place, one of the best places we have stayed. It was like home and you have lots of nice little things stocked in your home. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you!

  What a great place you have! Close to everything, very comfortable (especially the bed & sofa bed as well), and complete with everything a family of 4 may need!   Thany you so much for the wonderful accommodations. This was my retirement gift, and it could not have worked out better if I had designed it. We skied five days (Whistler & Blackcomb) and toured the other five days. Whistler and the Sea to Sky Highway are all spectacular. We have stayed in many condos over the years & yours was definitely the best. It was so nice not to have to buy all the "essentials" - thank you. This was an adventure and we loved it.

  Whoo Hoo Whistler! We loved it here - nailing Tabletops and Props in the bike park! Fantastic views. We are now sorry we have to leave, next time we are going to stay for two weeks. Such a lovely place to stay. Thank you from providing excellent cookware!

  The condo was a perfect place to stay during our short vacation in Whistler. We appreciate all of the extras, such as the easy online reservations, internet access, and the available supplies (kleenex, paper towels, etc.). We came here mostly to relax and do some hiking. Friday, we flew into Vancouver & enjoyed a short hike in Lynn Canyon, where we crossed the suspension bridge & hiked to twin falls. Brandywine Falls are spectacular off of the 99. Saturday we went up the gondola & Peak chair & hiked to Harmony Lake. Sunday we hiked to Cheakamus Lake, Narin Falls & the Ancient Cedars. Thanks for leaving all the hiking books in the condo - they were a great help.

  This is a lovely condo and we really enjoyed getting to know Whistler from it. In our short time here (next time it will be longer!), I did the bungee jump, ZipTrek, & we both did the ATV mountain ride. Such fun! Can't wait to visit during the winter. We will be back soon.   Thanks so much for making our stay so enjoyable. We lucked out having fresh snow and sunshine - some marvelous skiing! We really enjoyed being able to B-B-Q on the deck and relax in front of the fireplace. The waterfall out front looked so pretty - they had it running one afternoon when we came back from skiing. Truly a paradise here in Whistler and your retreat made our holiday more special.

  We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was great being so close to everything - and yet far enough to miss the noise from the clubs! Araxi was fabulous. The accommodations were so comfortable.   Once again we very much enjoyed our stay in your retreat. Skied the first two days in the rain, then the sun arrived! There is nothing to compare with the Peak of Whistler on a sunny day in January. The condo was great!

  It was a wonderful time here in Whistler, Canada! Only skiing in Europe - this is totally different!! Great place - we needed the jacuzzi tub after skiing.   Thank you for the peaceful escape. We had a bit of snow, some rain, and some clear days. The fall colors were my favorite. My 8-year old daughter and I hung out, went for lots of walks, collected leaves, watched movies, danced, and snuggled. It was just what we needed. Thank you so much!
