THE BEAR BOTTOM CABIN WINTER SPECIAL-2012
STAY 2 OR MORE NIGHTS GET ONE NIGHT FREE!
Don & Brenda would like to invite you to enjoy their very cute, very cozy cabin. They stripped this 1895 original Estes Park cabin to the bare bottom, hence the name "The Bear Bottom Cabin" to bring it back to its natural rustic charm. It is about 2 blocks from downtown Estes, in a quiet neighborhood, and about a 15 minute drive to the north entrance of RMNP.
Then after a day of hiking, shopping, snowshoeing, or even fishing you could come back and relax in the outdoor private hot tub or sit on the deck and take in the views of Lumpy Ridge and the famous Stanley Hotel, all while watching the elk and deer who are frequent visitors to the neighborhood. On cooler nights you can enjoy an electric fire in the original moss rock fireplace.
This cabin is to be enjoyed year round.

Really enjoyed the cabin. It is very well taken care of and included all of the amenities we required. It's in a nice, quiet location that is within an easy walk to downtown Estes Park. We would love to come back.

Erika and I stayed at this great cabin September 28th - Oct 2nd. It was everything described and more. just a few blocks from downtown Estes. The photos do not give this place justice...we would ask for the same cabin again...it's just that sweet of place. Had dinner Friday night at the Twin Owls restaurant which was excellent and would recommend to anyone. The aspen leaves happened to be one of the highlites of the trip as well as the many elk we saw in town and in the park. thanks again...you really have a great little gem here.

My husband and I just celebrated our 10th anniversary at Bear Bottom cabin. It was wonderful!! The cabin was beautiful inside. It was very clean and very comfortable. We were very pleased! The hot tub was great! We really enjoyed relaxing in it after a long day of hiking. The only thing that was different than we expected was the abundance of neighbors. The outside picture makes the cabin seem somewhat isolated, but the cabin is very near several other cabins. The close proximity to downtown was nice and convenient, but it is IN town. We hope to return to this cabin, hopefully sooner than later!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.

Loved the cabin, warm, cozy, clean, and romantic. Having the private hot tub is really nice during the quiet and cold off season. The cabin was not as secluded as we had assumed from the pictures but still private and well taken care of. Comfy bed and well equiped kitchen and bathroom. Electric fireplace not gas or wood. Perfect location for any couples and about a ten minute walk or two minute drive to the heart of main street. Also, this is a locally owned and operated condo. Not some big impersonal management company. The whole point of VRBO is just that and we all need to support people like this. Very helpful and friendly.
Owner response:Just one correction is that it is a stand alone cabin not a condo. Also we are a management company called Pine Creek Cabins here in Estes but we are very familiar with all our properties and owners. This cabin happened to be owned by my brother and his wife. Thank you for the nice review.

For those who love to be close to the mountains and very close (within walking distance) to town, in a quaint cabin like setting, this is a great place for you! We spend quite a bit of time in Estes and this is the first time we've utilized a VRBO property for our stay and we were not disappointed!
