This smoke-free, pet-free 4 bedroom, 3 bath home is a first time rental, completely remodeled, with ceramic tile throughout. Bedroom one is en-suite, with two extra long twin beds and a flat panel television and DVD player. The second bedroom is particularly kid friendly with its cheerful colors and Pottery Barn Kids bedding on the two sets of bunk beds, sleeping a total of four. Bedroom three boasts a queen size bed and television. But, my personal favorite is the Pottery Barn decorated fourth bedroom, which is separated from the other three bedrooms, allowing for a peaceful retreat. The king-size bed and flat panel TV/DVD player provide the ultimate in nighttime relaxation, overlooking the pool.
The formal living room and formal dining room provide plenty of room to spread out or to entertain. The entirely new gourmet kitchen, with granite countertops and stainless appliances, is fully equipped with everything necessary to prepare meals or entertain – even an espresso machine! Enjoy the comfort and convenience of the indoor laundry room with front loading washer and dryer, right off the kitchen. After a day full of activities, relax in the large family room with plenty of seating and its own big-screen flat panel TV. Step through the French doors into the bright and cheerful ‘Florida’ room. The convertible sofa provides sleeping for two more! The wrap-around windows allow for views of the pool, spa, and covered lanai. Just step outside to enjoy the new solar heated pool and attached spa, or relax in the abundant and comfortable outdoor furnishings under the adjacent covered lanai, a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or barbecue a tasty evening dinner. The two car garage allows for comfortable parking, out of the heat and sun.
With the free wireless, broadband internet, fax, scanner, and printer, and a spacious desk, just bring your laptop to keep in touch or keep up with work, in between soaking up the sun and sights (if you can even tear yourself away)!
You will never want for things to do, with the abundance of nearby attractions! You are just minutes from Daytona Beach, the Daytona Beach International Speedway, the Ladies Professional Golf Association, countless golf courses, restaurants and shopping. It's only one and a half hours to Orlando and Walt Disney World Attractions, Universal Studios, and Sea World. Only one hour to Kennedy Space Center.

Why the Owner Chose Ormond Beach
While we love Colorado and the many activities to be enjoyed here, we also love the Ocean (we are definetly 'land-bound' here in Colorado.) Jackie started vacationing in Ormond Beach in her teens, and has continued to gather her family there ever since. The area offers so many of the activities we enjoy as a family. We bought a home in the area three years ago, and have vacationed there regularly. Last year we decided we needed more space, as the family always seems to want to vacation together. We purchased our new home and totally renovated it, for our own personal use. Just recently, we decided to make the home available for use by others when we are not in residence.

We defintely enjoy all the benefits of home, plus more! Our home offers enough space for our large family to live comfortably and enjoy the abundance of sites and activities, such as surfing, swimming, biking, deep sea fishing, fishing, and not least of all, visiting Orlando's Walt Disney World parks.
Just walk to the end of the street to enjoy sun, surf, swimming, fishing, or even view of space shuttle lift-off! Beautiful, undeveloped, quiet, beach!

1565 Ocean Shore Blvd. A nice little local beachside park, where the little ones can play in sight of a life-guard, with a picnic pavillion, snack truck, board rentals, showers and lavatories.
Great rainy day activity! You could spend the whole day strolling and browsing this massive flea market. Everything from a wide assortment of fresh, affordable produce, to artwork and palm reading.

Hello! Welcome to the Firestone Family vacation home website. The 'clan' includes Jackie and Larry, our four children ranging in ages from 17 to 33, and our six grandchildren, aged 1 through 13. Most of us live in the sunny state of Colorado (a few in Spokane). Jackie and Larry are originally from 'Back East', but have called Colorado home nearly all their adult lives.
