Imagine yourself sitting on your very own lanai. It’s 80 degrees and the sun, an orange blazing ball of fire, is slowly slipping into the turquoise ocean. The green flash signals the end of a day at the beach and now it’s time for a mai tai. (two parts fresh guava juice, one part rum, crushed ice a squeeze of lime juice and voila!) A little later on you meet new friends while searing Maui ribs at the BBQ. After a morning run you stop by the bakery next door and pick up a world famous cinnamon bun for your sweetie and a loaf of legendary banana loaf (both still warm from the oven) for your breakfast. Split a papaya, (save the seeds for your salad dressing), make a latte with freshly ground Maui grown coffee beans. You’re not dreaming, you‘re in our suite at Kihei Kai Nani, Kihei Maui. You’ll be so comfortable in this suite you’ll think you are at home, except it’s 80 degrees every day and across the street is the most amazing beach on the islands - Kamaole II. You don’t have to cook or clean, if you don’t want to. But if you love to cook and BBQ, you’ll find all the kitchen toys you’ll need to bring on sizzling steaks, chicken and pineapple kabobs or freshly grilled mahi mahi. You can watch the news, check your email, golf, swim and meet back for mai tais at 6:00. If it’s your first visit to Maui you’ll be busy with the many attractions and activities ... but be forewarned ... you don’t have to rush to cram it all in because YOU’LL BE BACK! Everyone comes back to our suite at Kihei Kai Nani. It’s your home away from home.

There is security at night. A bird watchers paradise and whale watching during winter months, just across the street.

We chose Kihei Kai Nani so we would have a comfortable place to retire to in a few years. We wanted a place that would be suitable for renting out when we are not there. We want everyone who stays at our Maui home to feel like a part of the family and we hope they will return year after year.

If you need to work while on vacation or keep in touch with family, we have free wireless internet. If you like to cook, you will find a chef's kitchen full of gadgets and staples such as oil, balsamic vinegar, salts, pepper and loads of spices. We purchased this unit sight unseen because we know Maui well and we know Kihei is the best place on the island. When we finally got to see the unit we were very pleased with our purchase and we plan to do renovations soon. Even as is, we found it very comfortable, and a great QUIET location. Nothing but the birds to listen to and lovely views of Haleakala crater to the east and a peek-a-boo view of the ocean to the west. Kihei Kai Nani grounds are well groomed and there is something blooming all the time.
