"We came here after spending a week in Helen, GA. in a cabin. What a WONDERFUL change of pace. My son and two year old grandson are coming over from Concord (NC) for a few days.
The house is terrific. The view is spectacular. It has rained non-stop since we came & we really don't care we love sitting and staring at the mountain. We hope to make it back soon.

Perhaps a comfy rocking chair will beckon you to indulge in a good book or a well-deserved nap.
Springtime brings the cabin's great show of flowers, azaleas and dogwoods in bloom. The views are awesome from one of the three south facing porches and decks. During the summer, you’ll share the outdoors with the hummingbirds by day and the fireflies in the evening. The variety of trees provides a colorful, and amazing autumn. Winter views are simply majestic.

July 2-8, 2008 We had four generations sharing the week in your lovely cabin. We all came to Black Mountain to celebrate our daughter, April and new son-in-law John Cohen’s weeding at Lake Tomahawk Park. The weather was beautiful for the ceremony which was held at the gazebo. After a fun-filled reception at the Lakeview clubhouse some friends and family stopped by to visit. Everyone loved the wonderful views and whimsical décor. This house is perfect for sharing with family and friends. You cannot beat the view form the front porch rockers. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us for the week. We hope to reutn in the future. The Kurt Kolheffer’s – Daytona Beach, FL The Kerwin Kolheffers’ – Gainesville, FL Betty Kolheffer – Deland, FL Racquel Berrios – Puerto Rico
