A contemporary and sophisticated golf cottage within The Gallery Golf Club community, (which is the former home of the PGA World Golf Championships – Accenture Match Play tournament, won last year by Tiger Woods, and now played at the new Ritz-Carlton Resort less than a mile away). The Gallery has two golf courses and sits between the Heritage Highlands Golf Course and the Ritz-Carlton with its 2 new Jack Nicklaus designed courses. The Gallery is nestled into the Tortolita Mountains just north of Tucson on Dove Mountain Boulevard on the north side of Tangerine Road, 35 miles from the Tuscon International Airport and 100 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
The setting is the beautiful High Sonoran Desert known for its abundant Saguaro cactus and other unique flora, its wildlife, its sudden rainstorms and rainbows. This cottage has a private southwestern facing patio which is ideal for private enjoyment and entertaining. With its beautiful sunsets and long views of the Marana and the Santa Rosa Mountains, the patio has a swimming pool with fountain feature, a hot tub and gas grill.
The spacious cottage is over 2,200 SF w/two large master bedroom/bath suites each with walk-in closets, large tubs and separate showers. Master Suite #1 has king-size bed. Master Suite #2 has a queen-size Murphy bed, built-in bookcases and long desk credenza. Suite #2 functions well as a guest bedroom, media room or office. The cottage has travertine stone floors throughout with colorful Gabbeh rugs, as well as a Yamaha C3 Concert Grand piano available for piano playing tenants. There are also two HD flat screen TVs. The large kitchen/dining room has large windows, a large kitchen island, gas range, oven and microwave/convection oven, side-by-side refrigerator and granite counter tops. A separate laundry room has new front-loading Maytag washer and dryers plus a utility sink.
The Gallery has two clubhouse facilities. The first is the golf/pro shop and clubhouse dining building located at the gateway to “The Cottages” community – and an easy walk. The second is the fitness club with Olympic size pool, exercise pool, workout spaces, steam rooms, tennis courts and “beach volley-ball” court. Arrangements can be made for tee times at The Gallery in accordance with the club’s rules and regulations (which change from time to time). In addition to the club dining, there are a number of nearby restaurants along with grocery stores and other amenities.
The cottage is available unfurnished for rentals longer than 12 months.
