The house is very close to Chambers Beach & Landing, Homewood Ski Mountain, Sugar Pine State Park, Tahoe City, D.L. Bliss State Park, Meek’s Bay and Emerald Bay. Awesome trails out the front door meet up with the Rubicon McKinney Trail. We are located about 10 minutes south of Tahoe City, about 20 minutes from Alpine Resort and Squaw Valley and 40 minutes from casinos in the north and in South Lake Tahoe.
The House, beginning at the top, has an eagle’s nest sleeping loft, which features (almost) 360-degree views from Heavenly Ski Resort all the way to Tahoe City. -
A spiral staircase leads down from the loft to the second floor, which has one of the master bedroom suites, the main living room, dining room and beautiful kitchen. The living room/dining room and kitchen area boast large picturesque windows that provide a spectacular view of Tahoe’s cobalt waters and spectacular scenery. The living room is divided from the kitchen and dining area by a dramatic steel, "X-framed," architectural, centerpiece. The kitchen includes state of the art stainless steel appliances, gas stove, elegant granite counter-tops, romantic lighting and a large dining room table. Perfect for cooking gourmet dinners at home and hosting larger parties. From this floor, guests can access the ample double deck with grill and outdoor seating.
The upstairs master suite consists of a bedroom with a queen bed and its very own deck. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub and a shower with big views of the lake. You can watch the cold skiers at Homewood Mountain while you take a hot spa shower.
Downstairs there are three uniquely designed bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a gameroom (foyer). The master suite has a king bed, flat screen T.V., and a bathroom that looks out onto the lake. Sliding doors open to the lower deck where there is an exterior shower and a hot tub large enough to fit eight adults comfortably.
The downstairs bunkroom is perfect for younger children and teens. It consists of a twin over full bunk bed with a twin trundle that pulls out from underneath.
The third bedroom downstairs is nearly its own apartment. There is a bar and sink area, small fridge, couch, flat screen T.V. and access to a stereo system that can be played throughout the house, as well as out by the hot tub. The unique, custom queen bed trimmed out in recycled barn siding and Brazilian Hardwood is the centerpiece.
A large, natural stone-tiled bathroom with shower adjoins this bedroom, and can also be accessed from the bunk room. Double sinks and a small washer/dryer complete this bathroom.
The sunroom / gameroom has a beautiful field stone floor and is surrounded by large windows. Designed with southern exposure, this room provides passive solar heating to the rest of the house. Groups can enjoy the foosball table in here!
The house features Wifi internet, DirecTV on multiple flat screen TVs and a foosball table. It can sleep 12-14 comfortably. Plush towels and linens compliment your stay.

emailed from Paul N./San Jose: We had an amazing stay and time in Tahoe! We had a group of 4 couples and it worked out perfect. We did not even need to put anyone into the bunk-bed room. It's an excellent home and we hope to have another event there.

Just got back from 7 days at #228711. Great trip! Great neighborhood. Very comfortable place with great furniture and amenities. Two couples, three kids all under 3 years old - plenty of space and good times. Super easy access to Homewood and GREAT views, snows, etc. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you thank you thank you.

My boyfriend and I and two other couples spent the weekend here celebrating a birthday, and it was just beyond perfect. The two other couples were from New Hampshire, a landscape that is covered with mountains and snow. They were blown away by this place and Lake Tahoe. The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated, clean, fully stocked, and a great space for a group. It was so much fun cooking in the open kitchen, listening to music on our iPod hooked up to the stereo system, and talking to our friends in the living room. Great acoustics! There are views of the lake from 3 sides of the house. The views from the deck and hot tub are breathtaking. The 4th wall backs up to open land, and we took a short hike up the trail in the snow behind the house. The hot tub is quite large, and fit 5 of us very comfortably. The house is about 15 minutes from Tahoe City, so it's close to groceries and other needs. Only one other house nearby was occupied, so it was very private. Our dog loved it there, because everyone was always spending time together in the great living room. Foosball was fun too! I highly recommend this house for groups, beautiful views, a great time, and impressing your guests!

emailed from Christina S./Davis, CA: We had a fabulous trip! I can't tell you how many ooohs and ahhhhs were said about your house through the weekend. It was extremely restful, great weather, and we were all able to recharge our "batteries". We had a great time sitting out on the deck taking in the view, cooking in the beautiful kitchen and the hot tub was divine (especially under the stars).

emailed from Mike M./San Rafael, CA: It is such a great lot and house!! The open space next door was amazing for am walks and close encounters with bears! And the view of course spectacular, spent more time on your deck than inside the house! Thank you for the opportunity and the rate, my family and I truly appreciate the experience!! Most likely will be asking about renting for a week next summer if we can get away. Thanks again!!!
