Our family of three teens and two adults stayed at the Condo March 10th to 17th, 2012. Our expectations were fully met. The property is well maintained and the property managers were very pleasant and helpfull.. We would recommend this condo to anyone. It is clean, spacious and comfortable. The beach is very quiiet and our kids loved the ocean. The rec room at the top of the building was great also! We plan to return next year!

Very Relaxing

This was a very relaxing place for my family with two young children to stay. The unit was well equiped with all the comforts of home and had plenty of beach toys for my 2 & 3 year old children. We really loved that the beach was literally seconds away.

This is a very, very nice place. The condo was very well equipped. The furniture was clean and comfy. The condo was vey spacious. I loved the location, the pool, everything. I can not say one negative thing about it. I would highly recommend it.

My family had a blast at this condo. It was spacious and located right across from the elevator on the 2nd floor. The unit is well maintained and well stocked with everything we needed for a weeks stay. We arrived very late at night and had no problems getting into the grounds and obtaining our key in the lock box. The food and entertainment in NSB was great. We also enjoyed being 20 minutes from Daytona so our 2 15 yr old daughters could shop. My 11 yr old son loved the go-carts located right across from Daytona Speedway. NSB is a great family destination. It seemed every unit had a family with kids. Our kids met many others their age and enjoyed hanging out at the beach and pool with others their age. We also discovered the manatee watching site off of bluefish dr just south of our condo. We are hoping to vacation in the same unit next year and are planning on trying to make it 2 weeks. 1 week is just not enough.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

4th of july weekend had 2 park out on streeteven though gated otherwise it was awesome.people were friendly,price was great,condo was very clean beach toys supplied.we broke aboogie board replaced.we will come back.and recommend 2 family and friends

We go to NSB at least once a week each year and enjoyed this place quite a bit. It is in a great area (no drive beach) and is big enough to have needed amenities yet small enough to feel like you aren't vacationing with the rest of the world. View from the balcony is great. Overall, the condo had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

This was a perfect getaway for my family. The unit is convinently located right across from the super quiet elevator which made it nice as I carried all our beach stuff and ten month-old down to the ocean. For my ten year-old, he loved the independence of taking the stairs. And, since we were only on the second floor I didn't mind. My family has vacationed at the Southwind for twenty-five years and we keep coming back because of the family atmosphere. We love it!

We totally enjoyed this condo!! It was awesome and very convenient for my elderly Mom--no stairs to climb and the elevator is right outside the condo door. Thanks for making it so affordable and for stocking it with everything we needed to enjoy our weeks. Of course, the whole complex is nice and Dave, the new manager, was very friendly and helpful. The owners I met were cordial too. The pool is clean and heated. And the beaches are NOT crowded in this area. We just loved our two weeks there! And we hope to be able to go again next year. I can't wait.

Great oceanfront condo

This was the ideal condo for our relaxing, Florida vacation. The views are terrific! You can't be any closer to the beach for some fun in the sun, or walking in the sand. We were so pleased to see the dophins swimming by on 2 mornings as we drank our coffee on the balcony. The convenient, gated parking is a plus. You'll want to try JB's Fish Camp just down the road for some great seafood and casual atmosphere. We would definitely choose this unit again. Tom, the owner, is very helpful and nice to work which I truly appreciated.

Perfect Vacation Spot!

We spent a week (April 18-25 2008) in this condo and loved it! There is plenty of room to live & play. It was clean & well appointed. We enjoyed the huge pool & beautiful beach. The view is totally unobstructed & we saw dolphins nearly everyday. Lots of seashells to collect. This area is a combiniation of retired couples & families, a good mix. The beds & furniture are very comfy and I loved having a dishwasher! We already have reservations to return in November! Thanks, Tom!

We had a wonderful time,the condo is everything it says it is on the internet and more.Very quiet ,well furnished condo,beautiful view of the ocean every morning.You do see dolphins playing around 7 to 7;30 in the morning ! Great place.

This condo exceeded our expectations. It has everything that you see in the pictures and more......... It was clean, great views (we seen dolphins and even a shark in the ocean) tons of sea shells to pick from. It was all around a very nice place in all, we will definetly go back! We love this condo!! It was our second time staying in it and it is so beautiful and well stocked and maintained. Very family friendly area and the view of the ocean is fantastic. Every morning we would watch dolphins playing right outside our window. Hope to visit again soon.

This condo has everything you need as well as convenient location right next to the elevator. We have stayed at numerous condos in New Smyrna Beach and this one at Southwind ranks with the best - Large pool, on-site amenities, and an uncrowded beach. We had a Great Time! My wife and I had a great time. Condo is right on the beach, fully stocked and very comfortable. View from the balcony was exceptional. Enjoyed opening the windows at night and letting the surf put us to sleep.

The condo was amazing! Right on the beach!!! The rooms are very large, the master bedroom is so light with the windows opening right out toward the beach. We hope to return...the sooner the better!

Our family had a great time at this condo. It is in a very convenient,yet uncrowded location. They have every possible amenity in this unit and the beds (even the sofa bed!) are quite comfy. They have a great selection of books, too! The only bad thing about it is that it is such a nice, welcoming place to stay that it makes it that much harder to leave at the end of the week!

The condo was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with all kinds of cooking utensils. Everybody we ran into was friendly. We had a wonderful visit. My husband liked that he could easily use the stairs, instead of the elevator (being on the 2nd floor) and the building was in a nice area.

We had a great time at this condo, even though the weather didn't cooperate as we had hoped. The condo is spacious and well appointed--can't think of anything we wanted that wasn't available. We've stayed in condos in Maryland and North Carolina for many years and this is one of the nicest we've ever visited.

The condo in New Smyrna Beach was great. It was very clean and spacious, the view out the patio was fantastic and the security of knowing your car was safe in the locked parking area was a plus. You can't go wrong renting this condo. We'll be going back real soon.

Tom, thanks so much for a wonderful vacation at your condo in New smyrna Beach! The condo was clean and spacious, with everything you'd need for a get-away! The grounds are so perfectly manicured, and the view from the second floor balcony is like no other. the pool as well was always clean and refreshing, and we enjoyed the water being heated, since it got a little chilly for us "Floridians!" Thanks also for calling to see if we were comfortable and if all was fine..that meant a lot to us! We'll see you again in July!

Our family was thrilled with the space we had in the condo and the clean pool which we used every afternoon after getting back from one of our many morning outing. My two boys played schuffelboard every day after playing on the beach in the sand. We enjoyed walking the beach at night with our flashlights looking for starfish and we even found a big blue crab. Tom thanks for the use of your great condo. SS

My family and I had a wonderful time in New Smyrna Beach. The beach that the condo is on is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. It was a great beach for my family as I have two young children and I didn't have to worry about them because the beach was so safe. The condo itself had all the amenities of home with good places to shop right down the road. We really enjoyed the Canaveral Seashore Park right down the road and enjoyed some good fishing there. The biggest fish of the week though I lost on the beach right in front of the condo. I never saw it, but it was very heavy. We are already looking forward to next year.
