Our family......myself, my husband and our two teenage sons just returned home to Minneapolis from staying at our first VRBO.....in this wonderful Manhattan Beach oceanfront gem!!! Upon arrival we were greeted by Rosario who I felt from the moment we met that she genuinely cared about making us feel at home!! This is exactly what we read about on the description of the "Hip & Stylish Oceanfront Suite!" It was also clean, well maintained and in tip top shape for our arrival!!! The location could not have been better!! The Strand was so amazing to walk, ride the bike cruisers (14 miles one afternoon all the way to the end of Redondo where the path stopped) available in the garage AND our boys traveled with their long boards to wheel around on.....literally everyday to Downtown Manhattan to purchase their flavor of the day ice cream at the Creamery!! They took advantage of boogie boarding and surfing right in front of our suite!!! We also took advantage of driving to Venice, Santa Monica Pier, Downtown LA to ESPN Zone, The Getty Center, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and even had a tour set up at UCLA to start the college hunt!! We loved the fact that everything was so close and especially easy access to the 405 AND 3 miles away from LAX!!! Thank you Brendhan for coming over to re-light the pilot light that one of our sons had "blown out".....it sure wasn't necessary for you to make the trip but it was so nice to meet you and thank you in person for our nice vacation home away from home!! Having everything we needed in the kitchen, wonderful large flat screen for our boys to enjoy late at night and the wonderful fireplace were all treats!! The cute breakfast/coffee places up on Highland that we enjoyed were Sloopy's Beach Cafe, Four Daughters, and The North End Cafe.......loved Uncle Bill's Pancake House......Scott and I enjoyed Simzy's for lunch and The Post for Dinner......The Beach House Pizza was delicious pizza and we enjoyed with the boys Rock N' Fish for lunch. Thankfully this vacation came with exercise everyday with all the delicious food we ate because of THE STRAND and all the fun people watching!! Thank you again Rosario and Brendhan!! We absolutely will visit this property when we make our next trip to Manhattan Beach! In the meantime we will spread the work to anyone traveling WEST!! Our Best, Scott, Michele, Logan and Quinn

My husband and I stayed here to make a vacation out of a trip out west to visit family and friends. From the time I booked it in November to our departure everything exceeded our expectations. Brendhan was incredibly easy to work with and responsive when we had questions. Rosario greeted us upon arrival and hugged us goodbye. The place was so clean and had more amenities than I could hope for away from home. The location and views made it difficult to leave but we would return in a heartbeat! I highly recommend staying here!

Charming Place and the Location is to Die For - I Have 50+ Sunset Pictures!

Spent the first week of 2012 here, and it was wonderful. The unit is well-maintained, charming and the location is to die for. We rode bikes to coffee every morning. Walked on the beach and every evening we watched the sunset from our terrace.( I have 50+ sunset pictures!) Brendhan made us feel welcomed and Rosario was a doll.

We spent the week of Christmas at the condo and had a terrific time. We were two adults and a toddler and the condo was perfect for us. It's not large but it's very nice with all the amenities you'd want. We've stayed at a number of villas and condos, and this one was the best managed we have seen. Brendhan was very responsive and helpful and maintains the condo very well. It was amazing to look out and see the beach every morning, and the Strand was peaceful and pretty. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

I had the most wonderful week in this apartment. The pictures definitely don't lie, but they also don't do it justice. The unit is beautiful and was perfect for me and a friend to share, with modern furnishings and everything we needed. Loved having the bikes available for us and we used them every day to enjoy the Strand. Free email and laundry were incredibly handy too. This is SO much better than staying in a hotel! Brendhan was wonderful to work with. He is responsive to emails before the visit and was always available during my stay when I had questions. He even supplied some great restaurant recommendations! When I arrived, I was greeted by Rosario who showed where all of the extra supplies were kept and how to use the fireplace. She also checked on me during my visit to make sure everything was going well. The whole experience was an A+!

Have just stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment and we found the experience well worth it, the accommodation and location second to non. We had a mixed itinerary of beach,shopping and site seeing and found that this home matched the criteria perfectly and very happy to award it a 5 STAR.

I had the most amazing time! I spend a lot of time in a car for work and it was such a nice treat to be able to use the bicycles provided as my main form of transportation. I rode to the aquarium, grocery store, Simmzy's (a local pub w great beers on tap) and then back to the property to start a great BBQ! That night was the best nights sleep I have ever. An amazingly furnished one bedroom with a VERY comfortable bed with the sound of the ocean in the background provided me with an amazing nights sleep! By far, one of my most memorable vacations ever! I'll be back next year for sure.

Absolutely beautiful!! We stayed 10 glorious days and enjoyed every single minute. The rental is very well kept and nicely decorated. All you need to bring is your toothbrush and clothing. The views are magnificent and the sounds of the ocean lull you to sleep at night. Close to everything you might need. Bikes were included so we biked everywhere. We were very fortunate to have met Brendhan and Rosario during our stay. They are both most gracious and extremely helpful. An Absolutely Charming Rental!

An absolutely charming rental. We stayed in the one bedroom space which was so clean and attractive we enjoyed staying in as well as going out. The sunsets were a magnificent view from the living room. During the day we could watch the surfers and the dolphins playing in the water, at night the fireplace gave all the warmth and cheer we neeeded. The area around the rental includes all you could want on a vacation. We enjoyed meeting Brendhan and Rosario who take excellent care of the building.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment over the Christmas period. It was a most fantastic place to stay. The location cannot be beaten - facing the ocean, easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. If we had known we would have stayed for the whole holiday!! We were delayed in getting there due to snow in London but Brendhan was very accommodating. Rosario is great also. Can't wait to return and we will definitely be staying for longer.

On previous visits to Southern California, I've always wondered what it would be like to rent a place at the ocean versus a stay at a hotel. After an awesome week spent enjoying the sun and surf in Manhattan Beach, I'm convinced that renting is a way better approach. Brendhan's one bedroom suite was the perfect venue to savor the LA beach scene. Cozy but not tiny, it provided more than ample room for 2 adults. Clean and well maintained, we never felt uneasy about spending time there. Off street garage parking is key but remember to rent a small car. Venice Beach, Malibu, Hollywood...it was much easier to reach these destinations from MB versus further down the coast. I'd stay at this place again in a heart beat.

All these positive guest book comments can't be wrong! This is the perfect place to stay. Need a bit more space - try the three bedroom upstairs, you will never want to leave. Travelling to LA on business? Consider leaving the stuffy hotel behind and check in here. There is nothing better than coming "home" to the beach at the end of a work day! 2 From the heartland and what a great Ocean spot. Brens' list was great for food & Markets try Farmers Mkts for fresh everything. We flew from Osaka, Japan. Getting to the condominium, Ifelt that my choice was quite right. The scenery andatmosphere were what I expected. The room and facilitieswere neat and clean. My wife and I were more thansatisfied.For our Japanese friends who like the ocean view andbeautiful sunset, as well as a fireplace in the room, youwill never regret to have chosen this condominium for yourholidays. The location is very convenient to the airport,downtown, golf courses, Getty Museum and Disney Land. Inspite of the large city, most of them are within 1 hourdrive.But remember this is USA. You should know the differencein culture. You have a shower but no bathing tub, theweather at the ocean must be very nice all year around and so no airconditioner, Americans have mobile phones and so notelephone in the room, to let a husband be cooperative tochore, dishwasher is not available, and shower toilet isnot available as a matter of course.Still my wife and I would like to come back again to thiscondominium some day, or maybe to the three bedroom suite upstairsnext time with our grandaughters.

I highly recommend this vacation rental and definitely plan on coming back as soon as possible. No matter where you want to go in L.A., this is the place to stay. The condo is immaculate and has everything you need, including bikes, boogie boards, washer/dryer, and free WiFi. The location and view are unbelievable; you literally walk out your door onto The Strand, and you can enjoy gorgeous sunsets from either the living room or balcony every evening. The condo is close to a metro light rail park and ride, so you can get around L.A. easily, even if you don't want to drive. Freeway access is also easy. But there is plenty to do and see in the Manhattan Beach area if you just want to stay put, and Brendhan provides an invaluable map that shows you where to find everything you need. Don't hesitate to book this condo for a fantastic vacation; you won't be disappointed.

Fabulous view, very comfortable and quiet (but always with soothing sounds of surf!). Had a great time cooking and hanging out, riding the bikes to Redondo Beach and back, walking on the Strand and on the beach and in town. Nothing beats having the Pacific Ocean on your front porch! Had a great time in a very clean and comfortable Suite. Having reserved parking is a valuable bonus, too. One of our best times on the beach!

We spent 2 weeks in the 1 bedroom and loved it. We wanted a place where we could chill out, watch the beach and people watch, bike ride, rollerblade, and this place had it all. Excellent location right on the beach. Very safe too! The place had everything we needed: beach gear, bikes "beach cruisers", kitchen, full fridge,washer and dryer and priceless location. It's a 10 minute bike to the main Manhattan Beach pier area and the bike path connects you to everything - we even biked to Santa Monica pier (17 miles). Loved it so much we didn't want to leave. The only thing that could have made it better is if we could have stayed longer! Brendhan is super cool and we had the pleasure of meeting his amazing mom and dad who make excellent wine and smoked cheese!!! Rosario is a sweet heart. We miss it soooo much and can't wait to come back!! Thank you!

jim and i had the best 2 week vacation ever in manhattan beach.great accomodations.the one bedroom was very cozy. has everything you need in it. and most immportant an amazing view to the ocean. we would keep the sliding glass door open untill late evening so we could hear the soothing sound of the ocean.we will deffinatly be back soon. thank you for a great time ,a beautifull location and wonderfull accomodations.

Look no further -- you won't find a better beach rental anywhere. Right on the Strand (great for long walks and bike rides), steps from the sand, with a gorgeous ocean view wrapping around two sides of this adorable 1 BR. Very comfortable, with every amenity -- all beach supplies, all kitchen supplies, BBQ, plus great wireless, XM, and hundreds of TV stations. Garage and laundry are a big plus. Bren is very helpful and responsive, and supplies a map of many cool places to eat and shop nearby. We did "walk to Pancho's and roll home," as he suggested! No complaints.

We just arrived home on the 3rd. I already miss it. Rosario welcomed us and she was great. From that moment on, paradise!! I have 2 children that live there, we met a young woman next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in CA thanks to the amenities Bren provided. The one bedroom unit was equipped with all the necessities, like full kitchen, nice shower, comfy living room with fireplace, deck, etc. Daily chores like cooking and laundry were no sweat with scenic view and ocean breeze right there. Being just 4 steps from The Strand for walking and viewing the ocean from higher up were great features for us. 3700 T.S. is a great place for beachfrontliving. Thank You!

We spent 8 days at Bren's property in Manhattan Beach. We loved the view and didn't want to leave the ocean! The place was perfect for our family. We have a 1 1/2 year old son and it was great to have a full kitchen and separate bedroom. We were so happy to get to use the beach cruisers provided with the rental. The location couldn't be better and we loved watching the dolphins play from our balcony. We would definitely recommend the property to our friends and family and hope to be back ourselves.

The one bedroom was just as promised. Tidy, cozy and equipped with all the basics. The unexpected pluses were the beach stuff and the laundry - having kids, both of these were really useful! Bren is straightforward and easy to work with. We knew we loved the beach, now we like this "room with a view" too. We'll be back.

I don't know where to begin....... This place ROCKED! The view is exactly like you see on the website, even better in person. Steps from the beach, you can open your windows all day and night and feel the ocean breeze and hear the waves crashing. Every possible amenity you will need is available. Just bring the beverage of your choice and kick back and relax on the patio or beach. I loved Bren's decorating, very comfortable and definitely stylish. My mom, best friend, and myself enjoyed this weekend so much. Thank you Bren! We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. The view from the porch is perfect, volleyball nets are steps away...right ON the strand and bike path. Bike's were available, beach chairs, towels, washer/dryer...and even skateboards. Also, the space is set up perfectly...from the shades/blinds, comfy bed to the utensils/cookware..parking! Even had a pack&play for our baby. Perfect spot...and Bren was always a text message away with travel tips & local hangouts.

It was great! Excellent ocean view, you can hear the waves at night. The unit itself was very nice and decorated very tastefully. I found it efficient and accomidating. Crazy housekeeper named Rosario was buzzing around the place a couple days during my week long stay and was a great source of entertainment - "Coochi Coochi!"

For a couple coming to LA why would you stay ANYWHERE else? Park your car in the garage and never leave the apartment or Manhattan Beach. This is the ultimate beach spot. Every second you have a view of the ocean and the fun of the beach! The 1BR is small but adorable and very comfortable and well decorated. Bren is awesome to work with! Loved having the chairs, boogie boards, bikes and laundry. I did not want to leave and cannot wait to come back!
