  The home is outstanding and has everything per the describtion. Found home to have large nunber of sheets and towels. Rooms are large. Kitchen well equiped. Video/DVD/TV system outstanding and way more than expected in a rental home. Both deck areas excellent for sun bathing. Lower deck great for meals.

  My family spent a week at this home in mid May. The house was great. We spent much of our time sitting on the balcony just enjoying the view of the ocean. House was well stocked. Having the golf cart was an added bonus. The only negative comment I can make about the property had to do with the showers in two of the bathrooms. The knobs were either broken or in need of repair which made the showeres difficult to turn on and adjust the temperature. Towels left a little to be desired as they were also very worn. No big complaints though. We would not hesitate to return or to recommend this unit to anyone wanting a vacation house right on the beach. We are already thinking about booking it again.

  Owner response: WE WERE NOT AWARE OF SHOWER KNOBS BEING BROKEN. BOTH SHOWER KNOBS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH NEW ONES AND REPAIRED. NEWER TOWELS HAVE BEEN PUT IN THE BEACH HOUSE TO REPLACE THE WORN ONES. WE HAVE 7 BEACH HOUSES IN OCEAN LAKES AND THIS IS OUR FAVORITE! RONNIE & MARGIE

  This place was amazing! It far exceeded our expectations and we came with pretty high expectations. The decor was very tasteful which we find is rare in rental homes. The location was perfect as it was oceanfront and only steps to the beach which was only steps to the ocean. We had a group of 13 so it was great having a lot of space for everyone to break into subgroups and the separate decks were great for this as well. The Ocean Lakes community has something for everyone and the 6 kids really enjoyed the playgrounds, basketball courts, etc... The community rents out golf carts and that's how most people get around. Just another fun little touch that our guests really enjoyed. Ronnie was a pleasure to deal with and the entire thing went effortlessly. Highly recommend and this will be a vacation destination for us going forward.

  It was our first time at Ocean Lakes. We loved the house it flowed really well and had everything we needed. We loved having 4 bathrooms. Our family was made up of grandparents, children and grandchildren. Our area was the least congested and it was safe for the children to cross over to the beach. We loved watching the fireworks every evening. There was congestion with the golf carts but it was worth it so that the children could enjoy the freedom. We did not let our teenagers drive the golf cart but that was hard as a lot of younger children were driving carts, some got caught by security but not too many..that needs to be improved. Dealing with Ronnie was a joy, he answered all our guestions and was very honest. We look forward to going back. I would definitely recommend this house.

  Althought Ocean Lakes is a extremely large community, the location of this rental was perfect and away from the majority of the conjestion. We vacationed Memorial Day weekend throughout the week Ibut after the holiday the conjestion decreased dramtically. The description of the property was exactly what was listed. It was a beautiful home and well kept. The under the counter ice machine was great to have. We had 2 families stay and there was plenty of room for everyone. The view of the beach was unobstructed. We loved the double decks and the whole family watched the stars each evening from the upper deck. Meals on the lower deck in the evening were lovely! My grandchildren loved the space to run and play and the activities at the community center for families were fun. It was great to just walk to the beach and not have to pack everybody and everything up. The kids and grandchildren were able to come and go to the beach all day and just walk back for meals, or watch t.v., have watergun fights and go right back! Everyone that we met was friendly.... From the registration folks to theactivity directors to the other residents. The property owner, Mr. Ronnie is the best and dealt with small issues quickly. He is very honest, friendly and responsive all with southern charm. Working with him was a very pleasant experience. I would rent any of his properties based on this experience. Many family memories were made here and a new family tradition was begun. Best experience so far, never will I go back to resorts with long elevator waits.... We'll be back many more times!

  My family held a mini reunion for one week during the Thanksgiving holiday in Nov. 2009. We had 3 families and 11 people and this oceanfront vacation house was absolutely perfect! It was large enough for our extended families yet allowed for privacy as needed. 3 of the 5 bedrooms have private baths and walk out balconies. Kitchen was huge and allowed 7 women to "work" in the kitchen at the same time - never getting in each others way. Decks on 2nd and 3rd levels were spacious and extremely comfortable. All in all, this property was amazing. It was beautiful and we found it to be exactly as described on this website. The open floor plan, the decor, beach front, the campground and access to local entertainment was unbelievable. We even had our Thanksgiving dinner prepared by a local restaurant "Southern Caviar" who did an awesome job, great price and the food was delicious. The only problem we had was the access to the internet. Internet access was unreliable, sometimes working but other times not. However, considering the sound of the ocean waves and the beauty surrounding us - we lived without it! Would highly recommend! We're very likely to rent this property again next year!
