A true getaway, our house is a waterfront gem on Narragansett Bay located on the neck of Prudence Island overlooking Bristol Harbor to the east and Potters Cove to the West. We have our own private beach (mainly rocky) with a 300 lb mooring and pulley line for smaller boats. On the south side of the neck (down our lane and across the street) is a lovely private sandy beach that is perfect for private beach going, morning walks or runs, skinny dipping and has great quahogs for digging. Return from the beach to a relaxing outside shower. The kitchen is a galley with granite countertops. A waterside deck offers a propane grill and dining table/chairs. There is a large backyard that offers shade all day and a very sleepy hammock.
Ferry reservations are required for bringing vehicles onto Prudence Island. We live about 2 miles from the ferry stop, where the one general store is located. Bring wine/beer as there are no liquor stores, or restaurants on the island.
