THIS HOME WAS BUILT FOR YOU, THE VISITOR AND YOUR PET. We finished the construction in 2008 and opened for business just this year. It's private, but centrally located to everything and anything you might want to do in this beautiful valley and wine country. It has very easy access to Hwy 101 or Hwy 154 for traveling North or South.
This home is 1,200 square feet and has an eat-in kitchen and walk-in pantry. Your view from the kitchen table is a rose garden blooming until late December. There are two spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bath has a jacuzzi tub and the main bath has a walk-in shower and a two sink and mirror station. There are two 32' HD TV's. There are mountain views from both bedrooms.
The home sits on an acre along with a main house. This home has it's own private fenced yard and parking. The acre is landscaped with fruit trees, grape vines, two ponds, perennial gardens, and roses. Sit out on the deck with a glass of wine, relax on your own beach, take a nap in the hammock next to the waterfall and creek bed, or go fishing (bass and bluegill, catch and release). It's a kid and dog paradise and has been described as a "get away" from your "get away."
This rental is perfect for family or the bridal party for your Santa Ynez Valley wedding. It also serves as a great spot to stay for your marathon or bike ride. There are five wineries with tasting rooms within five miles from here. There is a three mile hiking path to Solvang and the YMCA is not more than 200 yards away (walking distance).

My husband and I feel very fortunate to have lived in this beautiful valley since 1981. We have always loved to entertain and share our home. We also find when we vacation we prefer condominiums or homes. And it's nice to have a host just in case you have a question about the area. So, we decided to build this rental home on our property so we can share the beauty of this area with those of you who want to visit. The Santa Ynez Valley has a lot to offer. This home was built for you, your family and your pet. It's not a granny home, remodeled guest house, or converted apartment. We built this home to be able to host folks like you who want to visit this area and want "more than a room." Our home is warm, relaxing, and has everything you need for your stay. There is shade or sun for your dog in the yard. There is a grill and outside seating area if you want to BBQ. This home has been described as a get away from your get away. There is a beach on the property and you can fish for bass or bluegill (catch and release). What's more relaxing than that?
