Luxury and charm in central Austin
VRBO Bear stayed here - 05/14/2009
My bear family and I stayed in this central Austin home for a long weekend. We really enjoyed this tastefully decorated home with artwork and mementos from London. The house has been newly refurbished with every attention to detail - from the clever lighting to the designer touches throughout. The stylish, well-equipped kitchen allowed us to whip up breakfast in the mornings and the grill outside made dinner a pleasure as we could sit and put our paws up in the quiet neighborhood.
We were minutes away from the Central Market shopping center which made it easy to stock up our fridge and downtown Austin was only a short drive away. The house had a comprehensive guide of all the sights to see, which was very helpful. We, however, decided to enjoy the comforts of this home. The cubs enjoyed the garden and the porch out back, whilst we relaxed in the shower/steam room in the ultra-modern bathroom.
A beary comfortable stay together with the warm welcome we received from our hosts Cindy and Aram, made it a true home away from home experience.

Perfect accommodations for family fun in Austin. The house is even better in person, and everything was so clean! The location is fantastic, and the neighborhood is so very cute. We were two families with children under the age of 4, and we felt completely comfortable and safe. The back doors are a little tricky but not a big deal once you figure them out ;) Our boys had their first slumber party in the house, and they loved being able to share a private room with their own bathroom and a super cool zebra lamp. It was so nice to have a cozy backyard for the kids to run off some extra energy after dinner. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Rosedale Retreat and hope to return soon!
Owner response:I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Sounds like a great memory and I am so glad to share that with you. Please come again!

This was a fantastic home away from home! The Bellvue Bungalow is a beautifully updated home in a lovely neighborhood close to good restaurants and shopping. The Rosedale area is charming and the house itself was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and more than we expected. The master bedroom suite is particularly wonderful, and the grand piano allowed for enjoyable family entertainment. The backyard is lovely with a comfortable screened porch and gas grill. The home is tastefully decorated and has everything one would need for an enjoyable stay. The house was so comfortable for our three generation get together -- we could not have been more pleased. Thank you Allison for helping with our last minute reservations and making it seem easy to accommodate us. When we make it back to Austin, we will definitely stay here again!

I've been involved for weeks in a remodeling project and was worried about finding space for our family during the Christmas season. My eldest daughter discovered your property on Ramsey Street, and it allowed us to be together for one of our most memorable holidays ever. The house was more than a mere place to stay! It was a warm, inviting haven that met the needs of even the most exacting among us. It has been beautifully maintained, with amenities seldom found in rental property. Our heartfelt appreciation is extended to its owners (with their exceptional taste) and representative, Mrs. Cindy Hill. As the agent, Mrs. Hill was most professional and accommodating in every imaginable way. Charlotte Hage Nacozy Counselor, Lee Elementary School Co-owner, Austin Doctors Building

We loved staying at this house! This was our first visit to Austin and our first time using VRBO. We couldn't have been happier. The Rosedale area is charming and the house itself was exceptionally clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Visiting Austin in June, we were welcomed with temperatures in excess of 100 degrees, but the Rosedale Retreat was a cool haven at the end of each day of sightseeing. The screened porch was even cool in the early mornings and evenings as the backyard is nicely shaded. If we make it back to Austin, we would definitely stay here again. If the house was booked, I would look for one of Cindy and Armin's other properties as they were very accomodating and professional.

This was a fantastic home away from home! We loved the location and neighborhood. We lived 1 block away when we were in college, and the neighborhood has certainly retained its charm. The house was so comfortable for our three generation get together. We could not have been more pleased. I would love to move in here permanently.

This 1st class, renovated home features a contemporary decor that is spotless, warm, luxurious and inviting. The home is very well appointed with all the trappings to fill your needs that includes modern yet comfortable furnishings, interesting art, high end electronics, a complete gourmet chef's kitchen and bath and bedrooms that utilizes quality linen. The backyard features a superb venue for family gatherings, perhaps a BBQ. A seating area and the gas grill is fully sheltered and shaded by the dense canopy of a mature Pecan tree. This Rosedale location is within minutes of downtown Austin yet provides a tranquil, relaxing setting. As a first time customer of VRBO, I consider my family and I quite fortunate to have enjoyed this Rosedale Retreat. I fully endorse it as a top shelf property offered at an incredibly reasonable expense; a remarkable value. Lastly, Cindy Hill is an absolute professional who is amicable, resourceful, and intent on having guests 100% satisfied. Book this Rosedale Retreat if you seek a superb home away from home!
