This simple Cape Cod style cottage, is all you will need to relax and feel comfortable. 100 yards of marsh separates this property from The Pamlico Sound. The roof top deck is perfect for your morning coffee or the evening glass of wine. The egrets and herons enjoy the spacious feeding grounds. The ibis join the prolific bird life every morning and return to their nests, on the south end of the island, every evening. You'll see more stars than you ever knew existed!
On the first floor, you enter into the living/dining/kitchen area. The first floor bedroom has a queen-size bed. Included on the first floor is a full bath, a laundry room, and a large pantry closet. Access to the screened porch, with swing, deck chairs, and picnic table is off of the living area. The outside shower, fish cleaning bench, and steps to the roof deck are off of the screened porch.
The second floor has two bedrooms, each with one queen and two twins. A full bath, with a stall shower, sits between the two bedrooms. Each bed comes with sleeping pillows, blankets, and bedspreads.
The house has pine wood floors throughout with ceramic tile in the kitchen and baths. I have received many compliments on the kitchen furnishings; you should have everything you need for meal preparation. I even have a garlic press!
