Why the Owner Chose Livingston
GranDonna's cottage is all about family. There is no place closer to heaven on earth than Montana. The true "Last Best Place." The mountains; the clear, ice-cold rivers and creeks; the wide open skies and everchanging colors; the beautiful sunsets; the gorgeous full and often double rainbows; the friendly people; the great "hair days;" not having to wear make-up; these are just a few of the reasons why I chose this beautiful place to own my vacation home.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
Livingston is a very special place. GranDonna's cottage is within walking distance to the Yellowstone River and the Sacagawea Park - complete with playground, tennis, pools, the lagoon, etc. Livingston also offers wonderful restaurants, a great book store with plenty of local lore, several museums, great shops and saloons, beautiful views of the mountains, and the nicest people. There is also live theatre, live music throughout the summer, great art galleries, awesome farmer's market during the summer, and Livingston is the perfect home-base for so many different day trips to both historic and scenic attractions. In short, Livingston is just perfect. Oh yeah, don't forget the wonderful 4th of July festivities with the parade, rodeo, fireworks, and so much more!
