This is a beautiful new home with magnificent interior features and decorating.
This is the first season it will be on the rental market. Everything is brand new. The views are wonderful. You can see the Atlantic ocean, the inter-costal waterway and the home sits right on the 16th golf green.
It has 4 bedrooms; 1 king, 2 doubles, and 4 twins and a pull out sofa in the downstairs den. The master is a very private suite upstairs with a great view and spectacular bathroom. The other 4 bedrooms are downstairs with the laundry room and den.
The kitchen is a chefs dream with all state of the art appliances. It is a great house for entertaining. The kitchen has a huge island and opens into the living room which has lots of seating and a gas fireplace.
The dinning room is octagon shaped with windows all around and has a lovely glass top table that can seat up to eight. The island in the kitchen has 4 barstools and provides a great extra dinning.
The house has two screened porches. Both have great views of the golf course and the ocean.
There are two golf carts, 4 bikes, beach chairs, charcoal grill and other beach toys all housed in a two golf cart garage.

Our trip to Bald Head

My sister and I rented this lovely home July 2-10. My neice was being married at the Shoals Club in Bald Head. Upon arrival, the stove top was dirty, there was trash in the kitchen trash can, and the house was not equiped with the everyday things you need, such as a can opener ( we borrowed one from our nice neighbors) and wash cloths. We had to call the repair service for the golf carts. It turns out that our friend who arrived on Wed. fixed both of them by adding water to them. Service man (which we had to call...not the owner) said the carts were old and so were the batteries. For what we paid for rental on this house, I would expect it to have these ammenities. We have rented houses, condos all over the USA and Europe and they all had everything you could possibley want in them. We enjoyed the house and the views. Short walk to beach. It was a beautiful wedding and great to have our families together for this event.
Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway.

Owner response:As the owner of this house, I am truly sorry for any inconvenience that you experienced. I am very surprised to hear these revelations and we will take all measures to prevent future occurrences. We will certainly address our cleaning service to make sure the house is cleaned to the demanding standards that we have ourselves. Our kitchen has always been fully equipped and we pride ourselves on quickly replacing missing items (can openers, towels, beach chairs, etc..) so our renters can experience and enjoy the whole of Bald Head Island. Our golf carts are 3 and 6 years old and have had a very good record of service. Both carts are serviced and maintained regularly and are safe and fast. We wish we could guarantee a 100% problem free golf cart experience, but unfortunately that does not exist on BHI. We provide a service man on the island to take care of small issues on the spot. Our contact information is readily and easily available however and it is only because someone does not call us that we are not contacted. We are happy you enjoyed our island and house and your comments are taken in a constructive manner
