If you are looking for time to decompress and a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere to do it in, look no further. This home has everything. My husband and I needed some quality "down time" and selected this property for our escape. It was without a doubt one of the best vacations we have had. I stayed by the pool with my Kindle and my husband played golf with our son. Evenings were spent at the Harbor or in one of the many wonderful restaurants on the island. Joe couldn't have been more helpful and made us feel very welcome. The house was beautiful (trust me the pix do NOT do the house justice) and is centrally located to everywhere you want to be on the island. We are already talking about the next visit. Thanks again Joe, Jill and Aunt Tina too!

Best of Sea Pines

We stayed at this property at the end of July 2011, and had a fantastic time. The house is very beautiful and tastefully furnished with Low Country decor. It's location is just a half mile inside of the main Sea Pines entrance so that if you need to run to the store, or go anywhere else on the island it is right there. The Sea Pines Beach Club is nearby, and after hitting the ocean for the day you can come back and go for a refreshing dip if the pool, (Margarita time!). Also nearby is the Sea Pines Preserve. My wife and I every day would get up and go for a run through the preserve.....very beautiful. The owner has six bikes and a baby tow behind attachment that we used for my grandson, (gotta cruise around Sea Pines!!) We most definitely will be coming back to this property on Hilton Head soon.

Fabulous Sea Pines Home

My husband and I (and our two dogs) stayed at this beautiful property for a week in May, and I cannot say enough about it. It was super-clean, and we loved the fully-equipped kitchen (it had everything!!), beautiful living and dining areas, and fabulous pool and deck. Our favorite part of the house, however, and where we spent most of our time, was the large screened in porch (overlooking the lagoon) that had the most comfortable furniture! Joe was super to work with, and we would definitely love to come back again in the future. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking to rent in Sea Pines!

Wonderful Winter Escape

A wonderful, comfortable and cozy house for a winter spent away from the snow and ice of the north. I especially enjoyed the wonderful colors in the living area and kitchen. Even in the winter the house was bright and uplifting. Carolina Place is quiet and relaxing, the house is located on a lovely lagoon with lots of birds and a few alligators to watch. Living the easy life was easy in this great rental.

Beautiful Home and a Great Place to Relax!

Believe me when I say the photos do not do this home justice - it is beautiful inside and out, and the setting is perfect for those who want a quiet, relaxing vacation! We loved the pool during the day, and then sitting on the screened porch at night drinking our wine and reading. It was perfect! "Allie" the alligator was fun to watch as he cruized up and down the lagoon or sunned himself on the banks. Inside the home was decoratored beautifully, the beds were confortable, the furniture and tv's made this house feel like home, right down to the frozen beer mugs in the freezer! Joe could not have been nicer or more responsive to every inquiry. He genuinely wanted us to have a great experience at 29 Shell Ring Road and he succeeded! "Uncle Skip" and "Aunt Tina" made the stay even more welcoming by checking out the house before we arrived to make sure it was just like home. They left a nice note and a great bottle of wine welcoming us to Sea Pines. A very nice touch! If you like to bike ride this is a great place to do it! There are bike trails thoughout Sea Pines and they are beautiful to ride along; from the trails through the forrest preserve, to the trails to the beach, Harbourtowne, and South Beach Village. We had a great vacation here and certainly hope to return again!

Thank you for sending our deposit back. It has been crazy around here since we returned but I did want to drop you a note and tell you how much we enjoyed our vacation and how lovely your home is. The house was perfect for a family with teens. We even discussed building a house with a similar design when the kids leave home for college and we don't need as much space. We loved the fact they weren't on top of us and they had their own space. The fact that you put large televisions in those rooms, Wi-Fi and had bikes was a bonus. You guys thought of everything right down to the frozen beer mugs. We didn't need to buy anything during our stay except food and beer. The humidity was horrible the week were down there so I'm thinking maybe June next time. The pool was nice and we really enjoyed watching "Steve" the alligator that would swim up each afternoon. The pool gave us a great view without intruding on him. At any rate, thanks again. I'm glad Aunt Rita found everything in order. I worry about getting it right. If we return for a Hilton Head vacation next year, we'll definitely be in contact. Susan

We are having such a great time - your home is a tidy and comfy respite from the bike rides to the beach, Harbor town, Salty dog etc. Thank you so much for providing the beach umbrella, chairs, buggy, sand toys etc. Just returned from way too many calories at Marley's.
