  First let me talk about the Eagle Crest chalets in general. We've stayed in a lot of timeshares and these are among our favorite, because of the rustic natural wood feel (see interior photos of living area & loft), and also the floor plan because it feels so nice and open with the vaulted ceilings and loft, but not 'big' like a regular house where everybody's off in their own corner, disconnected. Now, about this unit in particular: We asked to walk-thru a couple months ahead, no problem. We asked last-minute if we could come a day early, no problem. We called the owner with a couple technical questions, no problem. Hayley was very gracious and accommodating; I could tell she just wanted us to enjoy our stay. This is the second chalet we've rented at Eagle Crest, and we like this one best. Not only was it better-furnished than the others listed as available, it also has the better view out the cathedral windows, west onto the golf course. The hot tub was just the right temperature for us at 104 degrees. The gas fireplace lights at the flip of a switch. They have surround-sound and an aux. jack so we could play Pandora app Christmas music on our iPhone thru the stereo (there's 4-5 bars of 4G cellular coverage on AT&T at this chalet, which is excellent for this part of Oregon). Also the living room seating in this chalet is better than the other chalet we rented, with a couch and a loveseat (instead of couch and single easy chair). Also this unit has granite kitchen counters, which if I'm not mistaken is a nice upgrade over most of the other chalets at this resort. Almost every light switch in the unit has a dimmer on it and also there is "indirect" track lighting in the living area, which makes for a great ambiance with the fire lit and it was snowing outside. Everything works -- washer/dryer and all the kitchen appliances including ice maker, coffee pot etc., nothing was broken. The outdoor temperature got down to the teens at night and we turned the heater completely off overnight, but the overnight indoor temp still never dipped below 63 degrees! At risk of stating the obvious, this proves the unit is very tight (no drafts) and well-insulated. We very much appreciated the "no pets no smoking" policy as the unit was very clean. The owner has the place very nicely decorated as if it was her own home, not that cheesy 'hotel' feeling. Next time we're in Central Oregon, we will absolutely seek out this same unit again, hence the 5 stars!

  Two well-rested families of 4 just returned home from a wonderful 9 night stay in this Chalet. We were slightly concerned it wouldn't be spacious enough for all 8 of us in our party, but it was, with room to spare. We hosted another family of 4 for dinner one evening, and still we didn't feel cramped! Central Oregon weather was excellent (that always helps!) but more than that this unit exceeded our expectations. The hot tub is huge, kitchen is well stocked, furnishings and beds were super comfortable, Chalet atmosphere and decoration was warm and inviting, unit is kid-friendly (they loved the bunk bed!). Even with other guests on either side of us, this unit offers peaceful privacy (this can't be said for many other Chalets in EC). What the owner assured us was delivered. She responded to our emails quickly and courteously, and even let us check in early as no guests were checking out on our arrival date! We highly recommend this great Chalet to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a relaxing stay in a Central Oregon resort atmosphere. Thank you!

  We stayed in the house over the labor day weekend and everything was exactly as advertised. The view from the deck was great, and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. The property owner was very accomodating with an early check in time because there was nobody checking out the same day and she mailed our security deposit back to us within 48 hours of check out.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.
