Orvis Hot Springs (offering some clothing optional pools) is about 15 minutes from the house.
Ouray Recreational Family Park and Hot Spring swimming pools are about 25 minutes away.
Hot air balloons are often passing by and there are several deer(our pets) in the yard everyday
Several fairs and community events/activities are ongoing throughout the year.

Airport pick-up service, cleaning service and catering service available. We would be happy to make reservations for you at our local recreational companies, such as bikes, rafting and jeep touring and rentals. We do everything possible to make your time here pleasant and desirable!

$175.00 per night - $15 for each guests over 4
Minimum 2 night stay = $350.00.
Special weekly rate is $975.00, a savings of $250.00!
Special monthly rate is $3795.00,a savings of over $1900.00!
ALL stays require a $175.00 cleaning and damage deposit. If the house is left in good order, $75.00 will be refunded.

Our family of four rented this scenic home for the weekend. We desired to stay close to Ouray while accessable to restaurants. The home has spectacular views and privacy. Each room has individual heat controllers which allows for extra comfort. There are DVD's and games appropriate for all ages available for use. We were pleased with the accomodations.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, age 55+.

We really enjoyed our time in Ridgeway, Colorado. Den and Gin were very accommodating and I would say that this was our best VRBO experience that we have had. The house was very clean, nicely updated, provided local information, and was furnished with everything we needed to make this a wonderful vacation. Would highly recommend staying at this location. What a great place to get away from it all. The house was so comfortable and beautifully decorated you felt like you were home - which included all the things you needed for cooking inside, to the grills outside. We were surprised at the great views of the mountains from the front decks. You don't always know from descriptions on the websites what you'll be getting - but this was even better than what we'd expected. We enjoyed are stay on Log Hill. The house was clean and well maintained. I would recommend this property to anyone that needs a place in the Ridgway area.Recommended for: Sightseeing.

The Ridgway house offered by Gin was great. I stayed there 8 days and was comfortable there the entire time. The house is cozy and clean and I would stay there again for sure. The views are great and the bar-b-que grill added the extra touch to make this house feel like home. The owner, Gin, has been very helpful and very nice. I would recommend this property to others.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

We loved our weeks stay at Gin & Den's house! Den met us in town and led us in. Bottle of great wine as a welcome gift. Everything as described and then some. Close to town, yet very secluded with awesome views of the mountains all around. Loved seeing the deer, wild turkey and even saw a red fox one evening on way to town. Truly a most relaxing stay. Love the area and tons of fun stuff to do. Breakfast or lunch at Kate's Place in Ridgway is a must! Thanks guys, for a great vacation in your cozy place. We felt right at home will be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

The house was clean, comfortable, and the owner even had a bottle of wine waiting for us. We enjoyed being able to cook dinner and enjoy the view. It was so nice to arrive and have some necessities already on hand to use until we could head to the store. The outdoor deck, grill, and fire pit enabled us to take full advantage of the beautiful surroundings after a full day of sight seeing.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

excellent before hand communication, home was perfect for a retreat of 8 women-- the hosts were helpful with coming up to the property and provided perfect directions and then gave us a tour, the home was clean, well stocked, and inviting. We had a wonderful time and i would recommned using this property and hosts. We enjoyed the local hot springs and had an amazing view of the San Juan Mtns.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

My family stayed at this home in August of 2010. It was comfortable, roomy and the views will captivate you. The location is great up on Log hill and driving into town takes only 15 to 20 minutes; if you even need to leave. Golf, hiking, walking and biking all right out your front door. We will definitely go back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We've lived in and enjoyed many areas of the country over the years. When we first discovered Ridgway, truly one of the most beautiful scenic towns in the United States, it did not take us long before we had packed up our belongings, sold our home and moved here! Even though all our family is back East, we do not regret a moment of our decision to reside here. Besides, they all love to come visit us because of all there is to offer. The recreational opportunities are abundant, driving to town or work has become a pleasurable experience, no traffic jams, plenty of wildlife, friendly people and breathtaking views that keep a smile on our faces all day long. Without hesitation, we believe any vacation time could not be better spent then to relax, play and breathe here in beautiful Ridgway, Colorado!

Ridgway is one of the most beautiful areas in Colorado... A photographer's, painter's and outdoorsman's dream! Summer and winter days are sunny and warm.
