We loved our weeks stay at Gin & Den's house! Den met us in town and led us in. Bottle of great wine as a welcome gift. Everything as described and then some. Close to town, yet very secluded with awesome views of the mountains all around. Loved seeing the deer, wild turkey and even saw a red fox one evening on way to town. Truly a most relaxing stay. Love the area and tons of fun stuff to do. Breakfast or lunch at Kate's Place in Ridgway is a must! Thanks guys, for a great vacation in your cozy place. We felt right at home will be back.

We had a fantastic experience at Ouray area. This house is beatiful and set at the top of a hill with incredible mountain views. The owners made us feel welcome from start to finish.

The house was clean, comfortable, and the owner even had a bottle of wine waiting for us. We enjoyed being able to cook dinner and enjoy the view. It was so nice to arrive and have some necessities already on hand to use until we could head to the store. The outdoor deck, grill, and fire pit enabled us to take full advantage of the beautiful surroundings after a full day of sight seeing.

excellent before hand communication, home was perfect for a retreat of 8 women-- the hosts were helpful with coming up to the property and provided perfect directions and then gave us a tour, the home was clean, well stocked, and inviting. We had a wonderful time and i would recommned using this property and hosts. We enjoyed the local hot springs and had an amazing view of the San Juan Mtns.

Our family stayed in this beautiful home and felt comfortable as we opened the front door. The views are amazing - it's so quiet there and peaceful. The beds were comfy and the living room and kitchen were wonderful. We will definitely return to the great house on our next trip out west. Thanks Gin for all your help!

We had a wonderful vacation with our family at Gin and Den's lovely home in Ridgway. The setting and accomodations are even better than we anticipated from th Web site. Incredible views, great things to do, lots of wildlife, and the most spectacular rainbow we have ever seen! Our sons had to work a little while we were there and the Internet availability allowed them to be productive while enjoying the family. We definitely plan to return.

Great stay in Ridgway

My family (husband and 3 adult kids) had a wonderful stay at the Ridgway home. The house is beautifully decorated and the views are incredible. We enjoyed the periodic visits from the deer and even had the pleasure of a great rainbow one day. The star gazing is good and it the peace and quiet is fantastic. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet vacation.

Perfect getaway

My family stayed at this home in August of 2010. It was comfortable, roomy and the views will captivate you. The location is great up on Log hill and driving into town takes only 15 to 20 minutes; if you even need to leave. Golf, hiking, walking and biking all right out your front door. We will definitely go back.

The Perfect Vacation Home

We just stayed here for 7 nights and it was perfect! The home is beautiful, we were greeted each morning and evening with deer in the back yard. The views are amazing and the location is perfect - quick trip to Ouray for 4 wheeling and Telluride for good times. Several wineries less than an hour away. We also played golf at the Divide Golf Club which is only 3 miles from the house - great golf and the most beautiful views! Beds are comfy, water pressure is great - I highly recommend this rental.

We stayed in this property 1st week of June 2010...Our children and grandkids visiting from D.C. We had an wonderful time. The property is such a great place for the kids. The views from the windows and the wrap around porch were spectactular!! Several morning had deer in the yard!! House was very roomy,all the beds were so comfortable. Location was very accessable for many activities, hiking, fishing,sightseeing. Gin was very helpful and checked often to make sure everything was satisfactory. We will definately come again!!!

We have been visiting Ridgway at least once a year for the last 10 years. We have stayed at most of the rental places in town, including several stays at Chipeta Spa. This was by far the best experience we have had. The house is VERY comfortable and inviting. You feel welcome the minute you step into the door. One of our main concerns in vacation rentals is the comfort of the beds, no worry here, we slept extremely well! I can not say enough positive things about the house and Gin. We have definitely found our home each time we visit Ridgway. Thank you for your generous hospitality.

We rented this home from Gin and Den during two weeks in July. Everything was just as advertized on the web site. The one thing that was different is that the views are much more beautiful than what pictures can show. My wife and I along with our two boys had a fantastic time in this beautiful area of Colorado. We encounterd some problems with our truck while we were there and Gin and Den went way beyond the call of duty to help us out and made sure we were still able to enjoy our stay. I feel like my wife and I have made new friends with Gin and Den and hope to return and rent their place again.

We stayed in Gin and Den's home for a week. Everything was as represented in their ad. The accomodations were very nice, clean and comfortable. We would stay there again if we go back to that part of Colorado. Gin and Den were very helpful with advice on local things to do. Den likes to fish if there is any in your group who likes this activity.
