Located on one of the cleanest lakes in the US, Lakeside Paradise, LLC enjoys close proximity to shopping, dining, and easy access via Corridor X to the nearby metroplex of Birmingham or Huntsville. Golfers will appreciate the many truly magnificent championship golf courses featured on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Bring your boat and jet skis; launch for free at the nearby Alabama Power Company public boat launch near the dam. Or, save the expense and hassle of towing your boat. Leave it at home and rent one of ours. We even have a pull toy.

See fantastic scenery such as wide vistas of emerald green water or sheer rock cliffs towering above, or the many multi-million dollar homes on the lake. If you enjoy fishing, Smith Lake has produced many record catches in several varieties of game fish. Fishing tournaments are held throughout the year. Leave the mercury vapor light on and fish at night off the boat house.

Lakeside Paradise, LLC is offered as an ultimate privacy entire property rental for several days, a week, a month or a year. It is our aim that you will be treated as royalty and afforded a truly magnificent vacation. Our competitive rates are based on availability. Book early to avoid missing out on your preferred dates.

    • Off Street Parking: We have a gated entry onto a circular concrete drive. There is ample parking for three vehicles side by side at the home. The circular drive can be used for additional parking. Unloaded boat and jet ski trailers can be hand rolled off onto grass areas. They will need to be moved for the Friday lawn service. Please do not park cars on the grass.

    • Private Hot Tub: Hot Springs Spa seats seven. You absolutely must use dry freshly washed bathing suits to enter the spa. Entering the spa in a bathing suit wet or dry from lake water creates an instant green algae bloom in the heated water. This forces an expensive draining and sanitizing procedure. Please enjoy the spa but respect the rules.

    • Boat rentals are available. Why go to the expense and hassle of towing your boat. Leave it at home and rent one or both of ours. We offer a 29 foot aft cabin cruiser at $750 for your entire stay. The kids will love camping out on her. She has heat and ac but no toilet. Or, rent our 28 foot pontoon party barge for $650 for your entire stay. A separate rental agreement is required.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)

Personal Currency Assistant

Peak Season: $300/night 3 night min.$1800/6 nights $2100/7 nights.
10% tax, $175 cleaning fee, $300 reservation/security dep.
A $300 fee reserves your dates and becomes the security deposit. Refunded.
Stays including days during holiday weeks are at the rate of $400 per night.
Off Peak Season: Oct 1 through March 31. Daily rate is $250/night.
The balance is due thirty days prior to your arrival. Turnaround day is Saturday.
Some 2010 dates already filled.Book early for the 2010 season as our rental fills

Why the Owner Chose Lewis Smith Lake

Jane and I grew up with a rustic cabin on Smith Lake in both families; we knew that Smith Lake offered the very best waterfront experience available. We were extremely fortunate to find the perfect lot and spent 2005 under construction. Our home offers quality and comfort combined with a unique cottage style and all the amenities to make your stay perfect. Shopping and dining are six miles away in Curry or drive fourteen miles to the Super Wal-Mart in Jasper.

The Unique Benefits at this House

Smith Lake is widely known for fantastic fishing and some of the cleanest water in the country. It is a finger lake with channels of very deep water winding up the many valleys back from the dam. Many homes offer wide vistas from high bluffs and beautiful expanses of water. Too often this translates into dozens if not hundreds of steps down to the water. Ours is truly a rare lot that offers deep year round water coupled with fantastic views of wide water vistas while affording water access with few or no steps. Take a look at the picture of our boat house ramp taken from our patio. Better lake access can not be found! Come let us make your Smith Lake vacation the very best vacation experience of your life.     • By far one of the best places my family has ever stayed. Perfect for more than one family. Lots of space to "spread out". Beautiful home; state of the art amenities; everything is provided for your stay. We definitely will return, and we thank Rodger and Jane for their wonderful hospitality. Even when it rains, there are games and movies, plus the screened porch is a great place to relax and listen to the rain.
