Fine custom cabinetry, hardwood floors and refitted vintage sinks and tub add to the charm and elegance of this waterfront home.
The Boothbay Harbor area attracts visitors seeking outstanding natural beauty as well as quaint shops, cafes, restaurants, galleries, studios, and antiques. The Boothbay Region Land Trust offers free public access to groomed hiking trails leading through spruce forests and along rocky shores. Weekly fairs, lobster festivals and special celebrations keep the harbor hopping with summer fun.
Coastal Maine Botanical Garden is located 1/2 mile from the house is considered a horticultural paradise. Located in the mid coast area of Maine, Little Dipper Cottage is strategically located to take advantage of all the best the state has to offer. Route #1 which hugs the rocky coast is a mere 10 miles from the harbor center. Acadia National Park is just a 3 hour's drive leading through little fishing villages and cozy harbors. Of the 70 lighthouses keeping watch on the coast of Maine, 7 can be seen in the Boothbay region alone.
