Enjoy quality linens and bedding in our bedrooms. Master has 1 Queen Bed, Bedroom 2 has one bunk bed with full bottom (sleeping 2) single top bunk and pull out single bed.
Additional/optional access to game room that sleeps another 4 - same bunk bed configuration.Game room has full size pool table, built in bar, office facilities and 2nd bathroom with shower (no bath) Perfect for large groups or families with teenagers that likes some privacy/space and being able to come and go independently from the rest of the house. Additional charges will apply.
One covered car port and parking for an additional 3-4 cars. Gated community in winter.

We spent 4 days at this property as part of a 3 week trip to California and had a very relaxing time. The house is much bigger than we expected and had everything for a relaxing time - hot tub and decking with lovely views of the lake, pool table, TVs, videos and gas barbecue. The photos do not do this property justice. The kitchen is very well equipped It is very handy for all activities around the lake including the beach at Zephyr Cove and a large Safeway supermarket just down the road.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My husband and I stayed here during our three week trip out west. I was the perfect place to relax after a long day of activities. The views are absolutely gorgeous, and everything we needed to prepare meals was provided. Relaxing in the jacuzzi tub at sunset was the perfect ending to a perfect day.We were very pleased with our stay at Daleen's place, and I wouldn't hesitate to book again when we visit South Lake Tahoe in he future.

The house is larger and more beautiful than the pictures displayed. Everything in the home was clean and neat. I had a lovely time. On my next trip to Tahoe, I will try to secure this house again, as well as recommend to family and friends.

Such and amazing beautiful place to stay and relax. The views are absolutely breathtaking! This home has everything you need plus a bunch of "extras"-a gorgeous view, deck, hot tub, gas grill, new washer and dryer, super comfy beds ect. As usual when we arrived the place had just been cleaned and it looked perfect! Lots of extra towels, sheets and blankets and unlimited hot water. We once again had a great vacation and cannot wait to return.

A group of friends an I were going up to tahoe to camp in mid may. Unfortunately, the weather report said snow snow snow. So, last minute I found this affordable rental with VIEWS OF THE LAKE. I mean breathtaking views. And a hot tub with those views. The hot tub was clean and hot and seemed as though it was set up just for us. And perhaps since i booked the rental within a week of staying there things weren't as stocked as they could have been- there was no firewood at all. In fact, the yard was spewed with trash. The house had cobwebs around and smelled so strongly of just sprayed chemical air freshner we had to open all the windows for the first hour. There was no upstairs stereo (we brought up the stereo from downstairs to have music in the main living area). And it took two weeks to get my deposit back. All that said, it was a last minute rental and Daleen was out of the country which could have been reason for all of it. The photos here don't do the house justice. It was wonderful to sit on comfy couches and watch movies. The downstairs has a pool table and darts and mini-bar. The kitchen was wells stocked and there was a dishwasher (thank goodness). It was pure magic sitting in the hot tub at night with whiteout snow. Cheers to not being in tents freezing our toes off.
Owner response:Well it appears there was some bear activity which will account for the trash. I am working with Nevada wildlife to put out a trap. I most definitely do not supply firewood and do not intend to - my contract or ad does not mention anywhere that I do. My contract also mentions that the deposit will be returned within 15 days so I believe that is ok. My very competent cleaner obviously cleaned just prior to these guest arrival and perhaps carpets were cleaned or something that accounted for the chemical smell. I will shoo the spideys out now that it is summer.

DD's place was just perfect for our family! The views were worth everything- The hot tub was nice and big with the perfect temp and it felt like home, the kitchen was well stocked too. We had a great experience and look forward to many more in this home. Infact, we will be back soon, October.

This VRBO rental is the best we have stayed at in the Lake Tahoe area. It is perfect for two couples or even for a large family. We stayed for three nights and four days. The hot tub was very well maintained and HUGE! It also has a beautiful view of the Lake from it. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and had everything you could possible need to cook. Plus, Safeway is only a mile away for you to your your items you need. There are two great beaches within 1 mile of the home which both have kayak rentals. Loved this place and will be going back time and time again! Thank you Daleen!

The cabin was perfect for a vacation getaway. Zephyr Cove is only minutes away from the Heavenly gondola, but still a peaceful retreat overlooking the lake. If you're not heading outside, Daleen has a great selection of music, movies, and keeps the kitchen stocked with everything you'll need to cook at home. Everything is really wonderful. Can't wait to go back.

Every year I rent a place somewhere in Tahoe through VRBO. Most places are nice, but Daleen's place is just perfect for me. It's got a hot tub overlooking the lake, great kitchen for cooking, wonderful living room with fireplace, great bedrooms, wireless Internet, and a great location (near Heavenly but away from South Lake). Daleen, the owner, lives downstairs and is just the most interesting and wonderful host. She will sit and have a glass of wine with you or just leave you to enjoy your vacation. I enjoyed a nice mix of both. I will certainly come back again.
