The house was beautiful, functional, comfortable, & family friendly. It was the perfect location to be close to our other family members who were camping at Seven Points. The open floor plan was great for cooking while enjoying each other's company & keeping an eye on the kids. The basket full of maps & brochures for area attractions was very helpful & the surroundings were sublime. We had an amazing time & look forward to returning next summer! You really couldn't ask for a better (or more worth it) place to stay!!! Thanks for making such a wonderful vacation home available to rent ;)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We loved this home so much!! It was absolutely beautiful and felt like you could just move right in. Very clean and everything was new. Granite counter tops, tile and hardwood floors. The view out back was breath taking looking into the mountains while sitting on the back porch next to a fireplace. We had 4 and another family of 5 and had plenty of room. We have a boat, which was very handy to seven points marina 1 mile away. We couldn't say enough wonderful things about it. Our kids loved it and we all can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Allegrippis lodge is a great vacation rental. The location is perfect - close to 7 Point Marina and the Allegrippis trails and just a short drive into Huntington for restaurants or food shopping. The house is very spacious, comfortable and attractively decorated. The front and rear porches are great for relaxing after a day on the trails or the lake. We also enjoyed the pool table in the evening and when it rained. We will definitely be backRecommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This was the perfect home for us, not only to stay, but to host a family dinner after the Juniata College Football game. We are so looking forward to our next scheduled stays. My brother in law wants to rent this himself.... this summer. Thank you again... the floor plan and the condition of the property went well beyond our expectations.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

The house was so awesome, when the men opened the front door to the house they refussed to go any where the rest of the weekend. The house was just emaculate! We had the best weekend ever and are looking forward to returning time after time. We had 3 different couples and there was the perfect amount of space for all of us so we weren't in each others way. to top it all of the price is rightDid you find this review helpful? Our family descended on the Hesston area for our parent's 50th wedding anniversary and the Allegrippis Lodge could not have been a better accommodation. From the pool table to the loft to the porches we enjoyed family time surrounded by spacious comfort and style. I highly recommend the area for great outdoor adventure, and highly recommend the Allegrippis Lodge as the place to stay.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at Allegrippis lodge in October of 2009. The weekend before the first "snow". The home was beautiful. Our children absolutely loved the back porch and fireplace where we enjoyed our "rain day" making smores and roasting hotdogs, while arranging their nature boxes. The location could not be more perfect. Just around the corner to Raystown. Beautiful memories. We hope to return this year again. TY!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: We live in Washington DC. My wife wanted water and I wanted mountains. We found the best of both worlds within 3 hours of home. We fell in love with the area and bought this property 5 years ago and then built the current home a year or so later. We hope you enjoy as much as we do. This family picture was taken at Lincoln Caverns at New Years. Blessings, The Bradfords
Why the Owner Chose Raystown Lake:
We absolutely love this rural part of the country. Allows us to enjoy the mountains and the water at the same time!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
On beautiful summer days it is always on the lake or a local creek area that we enjoy. On cold or rainy days it is a trip in town to the old time candy store and two doors down to the early 1900s movie theater.
