Casitas del Mar, an ocean view duplex that is steps to a well known surfing beach, is a perfect getaway for vacationing couples wanting extra space, for small families desiring separate rooms for children and nannies.

Casa Grande, downstairs, accommodates a maximum of 6 people, children included. In addition to the spacious interior, the 500 sq. ft. ocean view deck and large enclosed back yard extend living space. Four Flat Screen TVs (TVs in each bedroom); DVD/VCR players and CD players are in the living room and the kids’ room. The brand new fully equipped kitchen has a large preparation/eating bar that facilitates entertaining. New appliances and cabinets. Kitchen now opens up into the living room. All 3 bedrooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. The large ocean view deck has one long redwood table, one round table, 2 lounge chairs and chairs to accommodate guests for outdoor dining. A Gas BBQ is located on the deck..
El Cielo, upstairs, is no longer available for rent.
Porta Cribs and High Chairs are available. Bicycles, boogie boards, beach toys, beach chairs and umbrellas are stored in the garage for client use. An outdoor hot/cold shower and changing area allows clients to shower off sand after a day at the beach. High speed wireless internet is available.
The owner takes great pride in maintaining the property in immaculate condition: area rugs are steamed cleaned regularly; blankets and bedspreads are washed or dry cleaned every month; linens are replaced regularly; walls are painted annually; kitchen cupboards, pots/pans, dishes, and glasses are kept spotless.
Casitas del Mar has become many return clients “home away from home.” Return guests cherish the location, amenities, space, and comfort of this large beach property.

Why the Owner Chose Pacific Beach
Casitas del Mar is located on a relatively quiet two block area of North Pacific Beach. This beach area is primarily known to locals and local surfers, making the Law Street Beach (Pacific Palisades) a coveted area to enjoy, without the noise of large crowds. Homes in the area well maintained, and most are inhabited by owners, with a handful rented as vacation rentals.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
Clients can enjoy a two minute walk to miles and miles of beach and a 10 minute walk to restaurants, night life, and shopping. They thoroughly enjoy riding the beach cruisers along miles of beach down to the jettee or the Mission Beach Boardwalk and roller coaster. The property offers outdoor living on the 500 square foot deck as well as in the enclosed large back yard. The property is continually upgraded, furnishings replaced, and the residence cleaned professionally.

Review #1380068 Amazing location and property! Wow! What can we say??? My mother (63), myself (37) and my daughter (3 months) stayed here for six weeks this winter (January and February). We LOVED the place! Pam, the owner, has set up a very comfortable and welcoming rental. The three bedrooms are spacious and there are two full bathrooms. The kitchen has all the required amenities and there is a BBQ, although we didn't use it. We loved eating lunch out on the patio, while my daughter played in the sunlight. The rental is spotless and Pam has very high standards of cleanliness, so you don't need to worry about that at all. She was very helpful to us, often checking in to see if we have everything we needed. We did not have a car, but we rented one a few times and there is a parking spot. There are a couple of bus routes within one block, which let you get downtown and to some specific sightseeing spots (Balboa Park, for example). The travel times are about 30 minutes by bus. But you can't beat the location. . .it's one block from the start of a long, long boardwalk. We walked this every single day and enjoyed listening to the ocean waves, watching the surfboarders and getting some exercise. It was heavenly! There are two grocery stores within walking distance, so you can get all your supplies. There are also a selection of restaurants nearby (Fatburger and Rubio's Mexican Grill). When it comes down to the bottom line, we were happy every day and we definitely plan to return there again. We wish we could have stayed longer, but Pam had guests who come back every March. Don't hesitate, book this place and go!

This is my second time renting this property and I would rent it again for sure. Plenty of room with a great patio to catch to ocean breezes. Pamela, the owner, keeps the place immaculate and well-maintained. One block off the beach and within walking distance to restaurants, etc. Great time!
