This property lived up to its name "Best Ocean View" and the prop owner was great to work with! Cambria is a wonderful place to stay! This home was very clean and very well stocked with everything you need ! great hikes, Great sunsets ! Will surely go back !Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Wonderful home for a weekend escape. The home was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The wi-fi made it possible to get a few hours of work done - but who would want to with the amazing views. The ocean views and decks exist on all three levels so you'll never be deprived. Do note that the bedrooms are down two-flights of stairs and a bathroom is on the main level and lower level with bedrooms. We will be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Simply a beautiful place. The views were spectacular, the amenities flawless and the comfort and relaxation were exceptional. Of all the different places I have stayed for vacation, this is my favorite and my next vist to Cambria will have this place as first choice.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The location and condition of the house were excellent, and was a great place to spend a weekend. I subtracted one star because the stove did not work. We were warned that the oven didn't work and given the option of taking another house or receiving a small amount off our rent, and I picked the latter, as we weren't planning on using the oven. However, I specifically asked the property manager if the stove part worked, and was told that it did, but that was not the case when we went to cook bacon on the morning we were leaving. Luckily we cooked our dinner the night before on the BBQ. Great house...perfect for a four-person getaway. Just make sure the stove works!Recommended for: Romantic getaway

This beautiful condo exceeded my expectations with is amazing views from every room to the spacious open feeling of it's floor plan! It felt cheerful and cozy with an abundance of natural light that emphasized the charm of the decor! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything you needed to feel at home, and the hot water from the showers made for extra long showering!!! Cambria is a darling town within close proximity to Hurst castle, Moonstone Beach, the vineyards of Paso Robles and much more! I highly recommend Robyns for dinners and The Wise Owl wine bar/ boutique. Hop On The Wine Line is a company that will pick you up at your doorstep,and bring you on a wine tour for the day. The lunch provided by them is amazing as are the wineries you will visit! I highly recommend this Cambria property as your home away from home in one of Californias best regions!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was the cutest home to stay in! Had all the amenities that we could ask for and had a million dollar view! It was also just a short drive from all the greatest restaurants in downtown Cambria! It was hard to peel my self out of bed because it was so comfortable and cozy! This was a great recommendation and I will absolutely be returning to stay at the "cottage on the hill" as me and my family liked to call it!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Three girlfriends and I escaped to the precious town of Cambria for some rest and relaxation as well as wine tasting and coastal california experiences. The home was perfectly cozy and provided a beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets. All the bedrooms had big open windows and sliding doors to a deck overlooking the coast. The beds were extremely comfortable including the make-a-bed located in the study. The house is conveniently located close to town where we enjoyed many great meals and the locals were charming and very hospitable. We loved every minute of our vacation and would return in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I do not have enough positive words to describe what a wonderful home this is. The views are everything that the description(s) said they were/are...simply gorgeous!! We saw whales from the deck and deer in the back yard! We saw turkeys and turkey vultures! We heard the waves crashing on the rocks and shores! The home is well appointed and there was nothing really, that we needed that was not in the house. The tide pools and seals are a 10 minute walk away, and there are stairs down to the rocky shore and pools...amazing sea creatures in those tide pools! We especially appreciated the very clean empty garage to park our car in. Oh, and if you are concerned about the renter below, don't be. If we did not know there was a renter, we would have never known...not a peep, nor did we see him/her. Thanks so much for allowing us to share your wonderful home!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is our second time to stay here and we will return again. Peggy, the owner, is fantastic to deal with. The house is spotless and well equipped. The views from the decks are wonderful. This is a perfect place for adults who want to relax and watch the world go by. It is only a short drive to the town of Cambria with it's shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our week there.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was our best Christmas ever! The views are definitely spectacular and very peaceful. We were also lucky enough to see three deer grazing undernearth the bedroom window. We never heard a peep from the tenant and the home is very well kept and appointed. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This rental is exceptional. Everything is so nicely done and comfortable. Every room is immaculate!! There seems to be every possible convenience in the kitchen that we had fantastic meals at home every day, except one breakfast with some friends one morning. My husband and I woke to the sounds of the sea life, which is a unique experience, and one that will last forever... or until the next time I return to this heavenly rental. Did I mention the three beautiful fawns that were sleeping underneath our bedroom window when I woke up?Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We were surprised when we picked up the keys that included on the directions was a note: "There is a studio located under the house - separate entrance, etc. The tenant has never been a problem for our guests in the house." While we didn't see the tenant, on Saturday mornings early (we were there 2) you could hear the tenant through the wall in the guest bedroom. Nowhere is mentioned that the property is shared and this should be disclosed to potential renters. The house and views were fantastic. The only glitch was the early (5 am) Saturday morning noise both weekends.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I very much enjoyed staying at this home in Cambria. It was more than I had hoped for and the new wood floors are beautiful. We loved walking down to Fiscallini Ranch and hiking over to Shamel park and downtown (the ranch was about a 10 minute walk, all the way to downtown was about 45 minutes, but fun and worth it). We even walked to Moonstone Beach for quite a few sunset bottles of wine. We got to see whales spouting off in the distance from the kitchen window (note that there are binoculars behind the couch). Truly unexpected and delightful encounters with animals from deer to dolphins to whales. Everything was clean and neat and I enjoyed cooking a couple meals and reading some of the books from the collection. I relaxed more than I thought I could in a week! We had just a little trouble finding the house because the neighborhood is kind of twisty - we accidentally tried to get into another house with the same # before we realized we were on the wrong street! But my childlike wonder came alive when we saw the house and how it's situated with gorgeous views and a bright and spacious interior. Waking to the distant sound of seals and a rolling Pacific is truly awesome.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The pictures do not prepare you for the ocean view this house has! The house is 3 levels...downstairs is two bedrooms and one full bathroom, the main level is the living room which is open with the dining room and one more bathroom and then the loft is the top level. There is no where in the house that you can stand and not see 180 degree ocean view. Amazing! Peggy, the owner, is very nice to work with. The walk to the bluff took about 10 minutes but if I did not have my 10 year old daughter, it would have been probably 5 minutes. You will not be disappointed with this house!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed for a week at this lovely location last year. It was a wonderful experience. Lots of deer roaming around the property or close by. Cambria is a sweet little town, too. The view from the front deck and of course almost every room in the condo is fabulous.!!
