Situated on the bluffs overlooking the eighth fairway of the world famous Ocean Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, residents and guests enjoy exceptional views, private beach access and the intimacy only a gated community can offer. We've hosted the most discerning guests, from Hollywood entourages to an East Coast couple who used our home as their exclusive honeymoon retreat.
From the moment you arrive, you'll know you're somewhere special. Casa Dell has an atmosphere of simple elegance,,luxury and comfort -- from the European and African antiques and cream colored couches, to the high thread count Italian linens and rustic dining room table which can seat more than 16 people.
The design of the house has created an alluring sense of openness, with spacious hallways and windows/sliding doors allowing ocean breezes to fill the rooms. The granite kitchen was imagined for the gourmet chef, with top of the line appliances and utensils. (Don't feel like cooking? Have our major domo, Jose, arrange for your own chef, who can prepare dinner for two or twenty five!)
Each of the light filled 4 bedroom suites in the main house is adjoined by its own tiled bathroom -- some with sunken tubs -- and private patio filled with native shrubs and colorful flowers. As owners of four years, we've thought of every amenity for ourselves and our guests, with satellite tv's in all four bedrooms, an extensive DVD library, and an iMac and printer for your personal use. Kids will enjoy the pool toys, and games in the den, including Wii. Throughout the different seasons we've seen how versatile our home is: a place for golf weekends, family vacations, "girls' time", romantic getaways, corporate seminars, and weddings and receptions.
The patio area is almost a separate world, with an infinity pool (and unique beach style entrance) blending into the ocean horizon, and glistening teak furniture. There's a swim-up bar, jacuzzi, BBQ and grill, a scattering of chaise lounges, and our charming palapa: a thatched-roof entertainment center adjacent to the pool with wet bar and ice maker. An evening swim under the stars -- waves lapping in the distance -- is one of the many memorable reasons why we return again and again to our house on the Sea of Cortez.
Located on the property is the casita, or little house, detached from the main house. Situated over the 2-car garage is a fully appointed kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom and bath. A sweet balcony borders the celadon green bedroom. Useful in many ways, the casita is perfect for families traveling with a nanny.
When you stay with us, we also offer you daily maid service, and the talents of our wonderful major domo, Jose, whose services are included in the rental fee (gratuity is at your discretion). If you wish him to, Jose can book dinner and golf reservations, arrange for in-house massages, shop for groceries,, find a hair stylist, set up chairs and umbrellas on the beach -- just about anything you need for a highly customized vacation. You might even ask him to bring you back some fabulous homemade tamales and tacos from the local market -- they're delicious! Jose can be as engaged as you want him to be, or so discreet -- if you desire privacy -- that you'll scarcely know he's working for you. Our guests appreciate our home, but they're delighted with Jose, a bi-lingual representative of Cabo warmth and hospitality, who is also happy to pick you up at the airport and bring you directly to Casa Dell. Jose is what will make your experience different from anywhere else....we guarantee it!!
Being our guest also entitles you to access to the resort golf club (Club de Golf) located within the gated community and playing on two championship courses (Ocean and Desert), and a choice of eight different swimming pools as well as various restaurants and a full spa/gym at the Hacienda del Mar Hotel within walking distance.
With so many splendid activities nearby, the ocean an easy five minute walk away, and the intense desert beauty of Cabo, we're certain you'll find yourselves drawn to this little corner of paradise, just as we were on our first trip south, years ago. We recently rented this house for 2 weeks - the first week with 3 other couples and the second week alone. The house is gorgeous - very spacious for our group. Poolside is also very spacious. This house was meticulously maintained and the best stocked house we have ever rented in Cabo. The view is beautiful and although the ocean is more off to the left of the view the seating arrangements and pool placement optimizes the blue sea view beautifully. Ideal for whale watching. Just a short stroll to the beach. Jose and Polo(house managers) were terrific, as was our maid who did our laundry and even ironed our sheets!! It just doesn't get any better than this. This house will be on the top of our list for next January.

This home is incredible. The only other place I can compare it to is a Four Seasons Resort. Yet, it feels like home with all the amenities including a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean, a hot tub overlooking both the pool and the ocean, a gorgeous kitchen, and a huge open living room where the family can enjoy the view as the entire family room wall opens up to the ocean. Just stunning!

From the moment we stepped into the house, we were met with the most delicious margaritas and stellar service imaginable. This house leaves you in the lab of luxury. From the unique touches in the decor, to the many comfortable areas to spend time relaxing, we found we had no need to leave this beautiful home! With break taking views of the ocean and an incredible pool/jacuzzi, we spent one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences I've ever had! The house is kept in pristine condition, with daily maid service, and each of the many rooms have the most luxurious linens and comfortable mattresses Ive ever slept on! The time Ive spent at Cabo Del Sol has been that of a dream vacation, with privacy, comforts, delicious food and beverages and stellar service! I definitely recommend!

A group of nine of us recently spent 5 days/4 nights at this wonderful villa. We came to Cabo thinking that we would spend most days and some nights in the city, thankfully we were wrong. From the moment we arrived the two brothers who manage the villa saw to it that all of our needs were met in an efficient and prompt manner. After the first night in town at Cabo Wabo we decided to never leave the villa again for the rest of our stay. The main house has four master bedrooms and, despite having nine people in our party, we never felt cramped for space. The detached casita is perfect for anyone desiring an additional level of privacy. The views of the ocean are wonderful and we frequently saw whales breaching which added to the charm of the location. The house has many areas for simple lounging and, while I am very well traveled, I honestly have never spent time in a more comfortable and relaxing environment. The infinity pool, the jacuzzi, the fire pit, the side terraces all were frequently used and are excellent places to sit and enjoy the simple pleasure of relaxation that many of us so easily forgo in our normal lives. After spending time in this fantastic setting I found my transition back to my normal life to be exceedingly difficult and my thoughts frequently return to this beautiful villa. I strongly encourage anyone who stays here to take advantage of the in house chef service. We had lunch and dinner served on three of our four nights and the food could not have been better for taste and exquisite presentation. The chef is classically trained and delivered a wide range of meals in many different styles (Japanese, Italian and, of course, Mexican) all freshly made, delicious and surprisingly healthy (for those of you who worry about such things). I suggest no more than two meals a day however as you will be provided with ample food to satisfy even the heartiest appetites. And let's not forget the daily cleaning and turndown service. It's so nice to go to sleep in a freshly made bed every night and have clean towels everyday. The brothers who care for the place are able to meet any need you have from grocery shopping, to massage service to planning day trips of any nature (fishing, scuba, horseback riding, whale watching etc.). They are friendly, charming and speak impeccable English. Without a doubt my holiday experience at this villa will go down as one of the most pleasurable experiences of my life. Enjoy!

Just got back today from a trip to this house. The photos don't do it justice. We stayed 4 days and pretty much never left. They bring you food, drink and anything else you want. The prices were fair and the brothers that maintain the property were fantastic. We hired the chef and it was some of the best food ever. Highly recommended!

I wasn't sure what to expect, with no reviews previously written I was taking a leap of faith. When we arrived, Jose was waiting with margaritas and shrimp ceviche. The photos perfectly reflect the house. The house is meticulously maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with spices, oils and everything, but groceries, you need to cook. The bedrooms all have comfortable mattresses and get fresh linens everyday. The pool and spa area clean and function easily. The brothers that manage the property do a great job at helping out when you need them and disappearing when you don't. If you inquire about this property and you don't hear back immediately, be patient, it will be worth the wait.
