R&R is a luxury home constructed in 2008 that has stunning panoramic views of the ocean, beach and sound! If you are looking for a perfect place to spend your family vacation, then R&R is just the house for you. This unique semi-oceanfront house has easy beach access and is second row from the Ocean and third row from the Sound. With water in both the front and back, the house has been designed with views in mind.
There are excellent Ocean views from the living room, kitchen and five of the six bedrooms have either an Ocean view or a Sound view. There is also plenty of decking to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze.
There are plenty of extras in the house. The main living room has a 42" HDTV, the rec room has a 40" HDTV, the 2 masters have 32" HDTVs and there are color televisions in every bedroom. An elevator makes it easy to move your luggage and groceries into the house. The bathrooms and kitchen all have granite counter tops; there is a speaker system on the front and rear decks, the living room, rec room and pool areas with connections to plug in your mp3 player.
Whether you have a large crowd or just a single family, you will love the upgraded kitchen. With granite floors and countertops, two dish washers, microwave, refrigerator w/ice and a separate ice maker, it has plenty of space and everything you need. As an added bonus, while cooking, you have the added bonus of both Ocean views and Sound views!
For extended families, there is plenty of seating for meals. The dining room has a table that seats 8, the kitchen bar area seats 3 and a covered deck off of the rear of the kitchen has seating for 6 more. The rec room has an additional table to seat 7 more if needed. If you have young children, there are two high chairs to make meal times easier.
The house has a reverse floor plan with large open living area and kitchen, 6 Bedrooms and 5.5 baths. The six bedrooms are furnished with King, King, King, Queen, Two Bunk beds and Two Bunk beds. 5 of the 6 bedrooms have doors directly onto a deck.
There are two identical Master Bedrooms with king beds and each has its own large private bath with shower and separate garden tub. A third king bedroom also has a private bath as well.
There is a recreation room on ground level with pool table, wet bar, computer, refrigerator w/ice and a microwave. The house also includes a private heated pool, water softener, washer & dryer, VCR, 2 DVD’s, Nintendo, telephone, computer, wireless Internet access included, cold/hot enclosed outside shower, charcoal grill, oceanside and soundside decks with furniture. Heated Pool available for $400 additional per week. Rents Saturday to Saturday.

The weather was perfect. A little rain, but we needed a sun break and the lightning across the sky was awesome. We watched the kids surf, boogie board and play in the sand. Game nights were a blast. Fishing - caught a flying fish and a mullet. North River golf course was nice too. This house was wonderful. Enough room for our crew of 11. Kids loved the pool and the pool table. The water was gorgeous and we were amazed at how calm it was! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The weather was sunny, sunny and sunny! We went to the beach every day. Rented a pontoon boat for the day - went to Cape Lookout to visit the beautiful lighthouse, picnicked and swam and collected shells on Shackleford Island. Best of all, we spotted many of the Shackleford wild horses, a loggerhead turtle and two dolphins. We ate the Bistro by the Sea and in Morehead City for steak/ seafood and Mally's Beach Bar/ Grill in Pine Knoll Shores for casual lunch. Our group of Mom and Dadd w/ 2 yr old, & 2 sets of grandparents thouroughly enjoyed our week on the beach. Having the pool outside our door was perfect with a little one. In Minnesota, it starts to get pretty chilly in September so this trip really extended our summer. Thanks for letting us share your gorgeous beach home!

The weather was perfect. A little windy at times, but always enjoyable. We swam in the ocean and heated pool. Shelling, sunbathing, playing pool, learning to play Uno and Hearts with children and grandchildren. Boat trip off Beaufort waterfornt, got to see Shackleford ponies and dolphins. NC Aquarium, got to feed the sharks. Ate at Spouter Inn in Beaufort and enjoyed it. We are looking forward to returning next year.

The weather was unpredictable. We found great seashells on the beach. My brother caught fish @ the pier until one AM. We hit the aquarium on a rainy day and it was great. Our 3 year old loved the stingrays, jelly fish and otters. The sharks were a hit as well. Foster's seafood had great service, but no oysters on the half shell :( We chose this home because my parents are in their eighties and they have some difficulty getting around. This home had everything we needed. Two dish washers, a large family room and a wonderful pool made us feel right at home! Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will stay here every other year.

Also, we went to Beafort which was very fun. We went horseback riding on the beach & deep sea fishing. This was a great house. It had lots of rooms & sitting areas. We enjoyed searching for conch shells in the ocean. Many were found! Watching the guys fish. We mostly relaxed in our beach chairs and floated in the pool. We ate at Jordan's Seafood and Machaelangelo's pizza was awesome. This house is amazing! We used the speaker system throughout the house just about every day! It was great having it out by the pool! We all had a great time and made a lot of memories here. It was our 1st time to Emerald Isle and we hope to come back sometime. It's beautiful here. Thanks so much for sharing your home with all of us.

The weather was great! Hit & miss on the rain then hurricane Irene on her way & earthquake shook the house. We enjoyed boogie boarding in the ocean, laying out on the beach + by the pool. Collecting shells. Went to Aquarium one day. Shopping. The kids also made a craft with the beach sand and shells. What a great souvenir! We mainly ate in. Had Michaelangelo's pizza one night. Great house, plenty of room + great views. Could use screen doors off bedrooms, so door can be opened to enjoy the sound of the waves. The pool was great to have. Thanks for sharing your lovely home.
