  It's a great place for a family getaway. Our family went on Labor Day weekend and loved having the private pool with crystal clear waters and relaxing outdoor jacuzzi all to ourselves. The river view is gorgeous from the cottage and pool area all the way to the bluff. Their was a fire ring and picnic table to enjoy by the bluff, great for cool nights. You could bring your boat. A boat launch was just 1/2 mile away. The cottage was very comfortable and clean with comfy beds. The kitchen was so well equiped with everything needed. Breakfast was provided with foods to prepare at your own convienence, plenty of snacks and bottled water was provided. This place is not just for weddings and such, it's a great B&B for a serene, fun,relaxing,comfortable getaway! Diane was the perfect hostess. We hardly knew she was there, but was readily available if needed. She provided us with much more than expected! Thanks again, Diane, we will tell our friends about the place! Oh, yes, I almost forgot, there also is a hammock by the bluff! We hope to return again-

  My mother, 2 sisters, daughter and myself spent 3 nights in this wonderful cottage in July! It's a great place for a girls getaway, family or a couple. Diane is definitely "the hostess with the mostess"! The grounds are gorgeous, pool and hot tub were sparkly clean and the cottage exceeded our expectations! We even had fun doing our own cooking! There are many interesting things to do in the Tuscumbia, Florence area but we spent most of our time right there! So glad we found the "Riverside Cottage" and hope to go back very soon.

  What a treat to stay with Diane. We were very hot and tired and she went out of her way to make us comfortable. The guest house is gorgeous and the property amazing. Our greatest disappointment is that we couldn't stay longer. Diane - you do a great job!

  My husband and I were not sure we wanted to stay at a bed & breakfast but loved the look and info furnished about this rental. We had a wonderful experience! Loved the privacy of having our own cottage but also enjoyed meeting and visiting with Diane. The property is gorgous with the pool, arbor, screened porch, and beautiful gardens. We were very relaxed and did not want to leave. The cottage had info for a massage and the lady came to our room and we both had a massage. What a treat that was! We plan to return for another visit and we are excited about the relaxing vacation retreat that we discovered.

  I absolutely adored this cottage. One of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed at. And the prioperty was beautiful. Very pet friendly. Our dog loved walking in the thick sod in the back yard. Also beatiful garden and grounds, even in the winter. Best hostess in Alabama!!!! :) Great stay. We WILL be back.

  My kids and I had a wonderful time at Riverside Cottage! It was a perfect place to meet up with my old college roommate and spend some relaxing time talking out by the pool while watching my kids have a blast! It was so much better than staying in a hotel, because we had the whole pool and grounds to ourselves. The view was fabulous, and the cottage was charming, roomy, and very comfortable. I would highly recommend Riverside Cottage to anyone who needs a place to stay or needs a place for relatives/friends to stay in the Tuscumbia/Florence area. You won't find nicer accommodations than this cottage or a more hospitable hostess than Diane!

  We loved the cottage!!! The grounds were wonderful with many choices of areas to relax and enjoy the grounds and the proximity to the river. The cottage was very comfy-in addition to the decor the linens and towels were so posh and luxurious. We felt very taken care of but never intruded upon. If I had to put the experience in one word it would be "relaxing". Usually when we have a couple of days off work they fly by. It was honestly as time stood still for awhile and we were afforded the opportunity to truly relax.

  We stayed at Riverside Cottage and were quite taken with the serenity and beauty of the place. God's creation is more than evident here! Diane was so very sweet and accommodating; she made us feel so very welcome and at home. The children had more fun than should be allowed in the beautiful pool! I cannot say enough about how special Diane made us feel during our visit. If you are looking for a beautiful place away from the busyness of the city, then this is it! We would definitely stay at Riverside Cottage again! Thanks Diane! May our precious Lord and Saviour bless and keep you always!

  We stayed here a few weeks ago and loved it! Diane is very sweet and everything was so pretty! Unfortunately, it was a rainy weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the pool and hot tub as much as we would have liked, but I look forward to going back when it will be sunny! :) The view from the bluff is beautiful! The cottage was just adorable! My parents loved my pictures and look forward to their own trip to the Riverside! :) I also loved that we were able to bring our 3 yr old dog with us, so the whole family took a lovely vacation! ;)

  This is a wonderful place to vist! The atmosphere is so charming and peaceful. The property is breathtaking! The cottage is very comfortable and has everything that you could possibly need. My husband and I stayed here for our 5th ann. and we found it to be a sweet and romantic place for us to enjoy! Mrs. Diane is a very gracious woman and made us feel comfortable and at ease. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. My husband and I will definitely be going back!
