Very comfortable house for 4 adults, 3 small children and one large dog! Kitchen had everything we needed. Private, quite neighborhood. We loved the beach and met several other friendly families there. Easy drive to grocery store and many restaurants.

Very nice country living. Owner was gracious to leave detailed info on the cabin and what to do and see in the area. Also, you have all the comforts of home. We brought stuff that we didn't need to, so don't bother bringing kitchen supplies etc. as they already have them for you. Very wonderful owners and very accomodating. You won't be dissapointed. We along with our friends and our little sweet Jazzy dog had a wonderful time. Debbie, Logansport, Indiana

Four of us stayed at this cabin for two weeks during two Tryon Horseshows. It was a great place to come back to each day. The cabin is well appointed and supplied. We lacked for nothing. The owner was very helpful, and the area is beautiful. We cooked at home most evenings, but there are several good restaurants in the immediate area of Lake Lure, including a great Italian restaurant.

We loved this cabin! It is so much bigger than it looks and has everything you need. You will not be able to find anything better for the price, we will definitely stay there again.

We had a great time. Plenty of room for 5 adults and a baby. No noisy neighbors, but some friendly folks nearby. It is a beautiful, well-kept home. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Let me add to the discription of cozy that the cabin was comfortable, convenient and without complaint. We were also in no way cramped with 4 adults and 3 children. What a great place to come back to after a full day of boating, hiking, swimming and sight-seeing. My family loved nearby Lake Lure, Mirror Lake, Broad River, Chimney Rock and Kidsense museum in Rutherfordton to name a few. We are looking forward to going back.

We celebrated a momma's retreat and had a blast. It was a clean, spacious and welcoming home; perfect for relaxing. We also enjoyed the semi-private lake spot for sunbathing and book reading.

Definite recommend for this place. Lots of space to spread out. Owner has little signs around the house, just where you would have a question. She thought of the details. There is even a discount card for the local grocery store. You have pots, pans, casserole dishes, blender, grittle, everything! Towels are plush. Washer & dryer means not having to pack so many clothes. You can see Chimney Rock from the end of the street. Watching the constant hummingbirds on the fron poarch is better than national geographic! We saw deer twice. Swimming in Mirror Lake was a highlight. As you swim you are surrounded by the trees & mountains. Transaction was smooth, price was right.
