This villa exceeded our expectations. The setting was beautiful, the accomodations were excellent and Mark was a superior host. He made sure we knew had to get everywhere we needed to go, was always available to assist us with our needs and answered all questions we might have had. He also helped with some transportation when needed. Mark kept us informed as to what activities were worthwhile and which were not. What restaurants were good and those to stay away from. This was my third visit to ST Thomas but my first stay at the villa. It was by far the best of my trips. The villa makes all the difference.

We stayed at the Villa Del Mar for Spring Break this year. We have vacationed in St Thomas for several years now & really enjoy the island. In the past we have stayed at the Marriott Frenchman's Reef resort, which was lovely. However, this year we wanted to travel with another family, so we thought that renting a house might be a good idea. LIttle did we know that the Villa Del Mar would completely spoil us from EVER wanting to stay in a hotel again!! The villa was even better than we expected from it's description & the pictures absolutely did not do it justice. It was much better than we could have imagined. If possible, our future visits to St Thomas will begin & end for us at the Villa Del Mar!

I couldn't say enough great things about this property. We came down to attend a wedding and this house was perfect. We had 7 adults and 2 children (ages 9 and 12) staying in the house and there was more than enough room and privacy for everyone. We hosted a BBQ for 25 people and the kitchen had everything we needed. The infinity pool and hot tub were the perfect treat after the beach and the views from this property are breathtaking. The property is very well maintained and Mark, the property manager, was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend this property and I hope to return soon

Villa del Mar is a wonderful house with plenty of room. The kitchen is nice and roomy with lots of gadgets to play with. The living room and dining is large and roomy for a family gathering. The bedrooms are nicely decorated with TV, DVD in each room. And the views are to die for. What can I say. We had a wonderful family reunion here. Just wish we had had more time here. Mark, the villa manager, was always available for our many, many questions. Don't hesitate to book this house.

We just returned from celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at Villa del Mar, just down the hillside form the Mahogany Run condo where we spent our honeymoon. We cannot say enough good things about this property, its condition, and every aspect of the experience. Villa del Mar is spacious and modern, well maintained, and very luxurious. The bedrooms are all suitable for picky travellers; the bathrooms are luxury hotel quality. This includes a dual outdoor shower in the master bath, and high end finishes throughout. The large sitting area is spacious and great for a group, all electronics are state of the art. The kitchen is full sized and provides all needed tools and cooking requirements. The outdoor deck -- while small -- includes a fantastic infinity pool with a great view of the bay and key, and a full sized hot tub. You could have a great St. Thomas vacation without ever leaving. The location is good -- about 15 minutes to Red Hook (places to eat, ferry to St. Johns); 10 minutes to Magen's Bay (best beach on island); 20 minutes to downtown. I The Property Manager was friendly, available, and answered all questions. This is a great house and a great place to enjoy the Island!

My family and I stayed here for my wedding at Magan's Bay. What can I say this house is beautiful! From the views to the house itself. We had a great time and I would recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay on St Thomas! The owners were very friendly and flexible and Mark was great to work with as well. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation.

Just left Villa Del Mar after a week of pure luxury and seclusion. The house is really well appointed and the layout is perfect for visiting with multiple couples. There are four bedrooms suites with a bath in each suite and they are all separated/private from the other. Each has it's own private balcony too. The main living area has large doors that open to the infinity edge pool which is great for outdoor living. We had the doors open all week long. The views are breathtaking with a nice trade wind breeze to keep things comfortable. If you want Four Seasons style and a view that will knock you over, this is the place. One final note, you will need a car at this location the roads are steep and walking to dinner is impossible, but it is totally convenient to everything. Nothing is more than a 15 minute drive. Try the Old Stone Farmhouse for a nice dinner and the Grille at the Golf Course for close options. Megans Bay beach is really nice too (close), drive in and go left all the way down away from the crowds, stunning spot. We also used Magic Moments for a day boat trip, that was another highlight. Villa Del Mar has it all, you will not be disappointed.

We rented Villa Del Mar for a portion of our large family in order to attend our son's wedding on Magen's Bay Beach. Our son lives on St. Thomas and had checked out the Villa for us. Our experience was positive from the very beginning! The owners were so pleasant and easy to deal with and the property manager, Mark, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The property itself was wonderful! It is beautifully decorated, very spacious, the amenities are plentiful and the view spectacular. We had four grandchildren (two who are toddlers) with us who spent countless hours in the pool and playing in the spacious main room when not at the beach. As for adults, the location of the Villa is so convenient to so many activities and so comfortable to return to after a busy day. We ate all of our meals at the Villa because every utensil we needed to cook or keep food was available. The Villa and pool were very clean when we arrived and well maintained while we were there. I would very confidently recommend Villa Del Mar to anyone who might be visiting St. Thomas. I really don't think you could ask for anything more.

Our family just had to let the owners know how much we enjoyed our stay and especially the outdoor shower! I love the stone work and the privacy. The views are spectacular and Mark couldn't be nicer! We are coming back, no doubt!!! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Kathy

My family just got back on Sunday.8 of us I already really miss the breathtaking views. Despite the unbelievable rain showers, mainly in late afternoon, we were so lucky to have a place that was big enough for all of us to chill out... Magens Bay is not far.It can definitely use an overhaul. We took a sailboat trip on the Nightwind to St. John and that was terrific! Golf course was a good time for the golfers.. realy cool. The town of Red Hook is not far away either . I would recommend Food Center for grocery shopping .It is through Red Hook . The kitchen was great!Loved the stone!. We took a cooler on the airplane. It was recommended on trip advisor and that was a terrific !I bought a polar bear cooler with ice packs (check on line) I went to Costco before leaving and for Fathers Day we had tenderloin and shrimp. We had spaghetti with meatballs and sausage one night and chicken& ribs another night We.ate out a couple nights (Northside Bistro and Mahogany Club House( which was close ) Really dark at night on road.. don't walk! Drove in to Charlotte Amalie one day and did a little shopping. The location of the house is really not far from anything (15-30 min tops) It was great coming back to the house and going in the pool and just relaxing after a busy day Thanks so much for sharing your home.

Just back from a week at the beautiful Villa del Mar. It was the PERFECT place to celebrate my 50th birthday. My friends, family and I were blown away by the luxurious accommodations, the spectacular views and all the wonderful amenities. The interiors were so tastefully decorated, the kitchen was more than equipped and the wet bar got a real work-out!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your villa and hope to be able to do it again soon.

This villa is a fantastic venue for vacations. We can't say enough about this beautiful place. The view from every room and poolside are absolutely breathtaking! One of the best views in the Caribbean if not the world. The place is comfortable and has all the amenities we could look for. Minutes away from golf and beautiful beaches. I will be back! Thanks for making our trip to St Thomas the vacation of a lifetime. This is paradise.
