This 3 bedroom, 3 bath home has 3,000 sq. ft.

The waterfront home has 2 large docks and is located in a deed restricted area on a quiet residential street at the end of a cul-de-sac. It has 180' of seawall. Only a 5 minute boat ride to Charlotte Harbor and then out to the Gulf of Mexico. This property comes with the use of a 14' Boston Whaler fishing boat.

Enjoy the sunsets from the lanai next to the heated (electric heat pump) caged pool (SW exposure).

Ceiling fans are located throughout the house and the sliding glass doors open onto the pool both from the great room and the master bedroom.

The master bedroom (20' X 22') suite has a king size bed and a very large walk-in closet. The master bath has 2 vanities, a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi tub. The split floor plan allows the 2 guest bedrooms to be on another wing of the house with a full bath. These two bedrooms have a queen size bed in each. Another bath with a shower is located just off of the pool.

The large kitchen has granite countertops and a center island. There is a separate eating area in the kitchen along with a formal dining room.

The great room has a vaulted ceiling and a fireplace. In this room is a 42" HDTV with a DVD player. This room and all of the others overlook the canal.

Watch the dolphins swim in your own backyard. Fish for tarpon, snook and other local fish or play a round of golf at one of the many golf courses. Fisherman's Village which is only minutes away has many shops and restaurants that you can enjoy along with boat rentals.

Punta Gorda has a small town feel without all of the crowds and traffic. Walk the brick paved streets in the historical district and visit the numerous galleries, shops and trendy restaurants.

  • 4 of us decided to get away from the winter grey in Canada during the school March break. On the drive down, there was a little apprehension on what the house was going to be like. That all melted away upon arriving in the driveway. Upon entering the house, we all felt that the pictures here do not even come close to doing the house justice. All the roooms are large and the house in general is well laid out. Never in our wildest imagination did we expect the house to be this good! The location on the canal was absolutely goregeous, which provided for fishing, lounging, and yes, even sights of dolphins. The owners, David and Cathy, made the house even better. The two of them really went above on beyond to make sure that everything was perfect, and that our trip was enjoyable. We are already all looking at going back as soon as we can!

This add doesn't begin to give this awesome house the justice it deserves for what an unbelievably wonderful house it is! We were truely enthralled with how beautiful the setting is on the canal, how nice the neighbors were (Tell Pete & Bob I said Hi!) and just how amazing the living space was inside the house. I don't know who designed the house but they seriously did an amazing job! Considering I came to Florida mainly to visit friends and go fishing, it was great that my wife had this awesome place for a vacation retreat and to entertain her family from down there that came to visit us! Everyone that came to visit, including a great friend, Rick Marshall, Pro-staff with Wild Extremes TV, just loved the house and beautiful setting on the canal. We all caught a bunch of different ocean fish right there in the canal off the docks in the back yard and had a blast taking a trip in your Boston Whaler to go out and fish in the harbor!
