Puerto Aventuras is a Safe Gated Community. Our families can go anywhere in the village and we don't have to worry about them.
The Caribbean Ocean is Spectacular!!!
Also, you are within a short walking distance of the village, beaches, golf course, tennis courts, school, skate boarding, restaurants, fishing, ice cream and swimming with the Dolphins.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
You can be Deep Sea Fishing in 5 minutes from your condo and trolling just as soon as you pass the jetti markers. The sail fish are abundant and like no other place.
Playa del Carmen is a great city with plenty of things to do and the World Famous "5th Avenue". The beaches of Tulum are some of the finest we have every seen and the Mayan ruins of Tulum are easily accessible.
Drop your lines right outside the jetties and start fishing. We have caught fish this close.
Owner's Map of Puerto Aventuras
On our honeymoon 20 years ago we began looking at property on the Mayan Riveria. We returned to the area for a couples
trip and fell in love with it again. We purchased this property on the inlet from the ocean because it has a Private Marina & Unique Pool and it is a ground floor unit. Our children love being able to swim or fish right outside our condo. Our partners and their families go down several times a year and just can't get enough.
Change the map to satellite to get a better view of the area. Thanks

Condo was really nice. Just came back from our trip there, with our two teenage daughters. The condo was equipped with everything you need including spices and everything for cooking. A definate bonus with each bedroom having its own bathroom and shower. It is in a good location as it is not to far from playa del carmen and close to akumal(our favourite beach) and a short drive to tulum as well. There is also some good cenotes located nearby. We were able to catch a collectivo right out the gates of puerto aventuras which took us to all these places. If you have any worries about safety, it is much more secure in this gated community. As well there is someone on site who is a great help with anything you need. Would stay here again.
Owner response:Thank you for staying with us and sharing the ease of using the "collectivo" (public transportation) right outside our gate. We will have to try it.

We had plenty of room for our family, we cooked a full Christmas dinner in the fully equipped kitchen and had a great holiday week. The 3 baths make it private and comfortable for all guests. We also swam with the dolphins and received a discount (you need to contact the property manager for the discount). Puerto Aventuras is a quiet community with a great location close to Akumal, Tulum, Playa del Carmen and many many things to do, explore and see in the Riviera Maya.
Owner response:Thank you for staying in our Home-away from Home. We are glad that you and your family had a great time. Our on-site property manager is a plus and very helpful with local discounts. Thanks again for vacationing on the Riviera Maya!

Hi my name is Mike. I lived in the beautiful condo for 2 months, I loved living here with my roommates. The family that owns it made it such a great places to stay and relax. I really miss waking up every morning to the marina and sitting by the pool with my cup of coffee watching the morning fishing boats going out. I am planing many more trips to come. Ps the landlord of the condo is a great man that will try and make as comfortable as humanly possible.

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful condominium with us! My husband, myself and out two children and my mother spent 8 days in beautiful Puerto Aventuras. We just arrived home today to school being closed due to a snow storm! We miss paradise! The condo is very roomy and well decorated. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well supplied. We grocery shopped on our way to the condo from the airport and this worked out very well. The owner is very easy to work with and accessible. The onsite manager, Lalo was awesome! He made our trip as he was so helpful. He gave us great recommendations on activities, shopping, etc. He also was available to drive us whenever we needed to go somewhere. We also opted to rent the golf cart with the unit. This was great for transportation around Puerto Aventuras, especially for trips to the beach. We felt very safe with our children in Puerto Aventuras. I walked by myself many mornings and did not feel concerned about safety. The area is a secure, gaited community. We spend many days on the patio enjoying the pool, which is less than ten steps away from the patio. We swam with the dolphins (expensive, but highly recommended), snorkeled with sea turtles in Akumal, snorkeled in cenotes, zip lined, among numerous other things. We have already discussed making plans to come again and rent the same unit. Thank you for sharing your paradise!
Owner response:KS, thank you and your family for staying with us. You were a joy to work with. Thank you for your kind words about our property manager, he does work hard. Please come back and see us anytime!

This was a fantastic place for us. Six guys on a cave diving trip, with lots of gear, and we had plenty of space to spread out. Having a garage to hang things to dry was a bonus. Nice added little things in the kitchen were helpful. Onsite manager (Lalo) was next door and checked on us each morning to make sure we didn't need anything. Since we were a group of 11, we rented Mr. Perry's other condo. Our friend in Mexico arranged for a private presentation from one of the original explorers. So we all gathered at this condo for beer and pizza. There were 15 people all together, and there was plenty of space. Deck area was a great place to have breakfast. Since we were in the water for 5 hours a day, we didn't take advantage of the pool. But it sure looked nice. Condo was walking distance to the center of Puerto Aventuras. All in all, a great place. I am recommending it to friends and family. Another nice touch was having Lalo give us back our damage deposit upon checkout. Takes the stress off of internet transactions.
Owner response:Thanks for the review Glen. Glad it worked out for you and your friends. Let me know if we can help in the future.

My girlfriends and I just stayed at this condo in Puerto Aventuras August 2009, and it's everything they say it is on the website. We all agreed that the pictures don't do the condo justice...it's fantastic! The owners were so gracious and helpful with what to do while in Mexico and recommending transportation outfits from Cancun airport. We ended up taking a private van via USA Transfers (about $150 roundtrip). And the onsite caretaker, Lalo, was extremely friendly and helpful. He brought us ice and bottled water, and offered to set up housekeeping/cook and excursions if we needed it. I travel a lot, and I don't know when I've ever slept so well in a bed other than my own the first night. Everyone remarked on how comfortable they were and slept so well! The condo is very clean and the marble flooring helped keep the condo cool, even when we turned off the A/C while we were gone for the day. It was great having private bathrooms for each room too. We loved having the pool right off the back. Even though the pool runs the length of the condos, it was like having our own pool since it was right there. The center of PA was about a 15 minute walk from the condo, although next time we might rent bikes or a golf cart for the week. We felt very safe walking through area at night, and a couple of us even went for morning jogs/walks alone. In the center of PA, you can swim with dolphins and seals, or just sit and watch the show. Of course, we have our favorite restaurants there (SiSiSi and Dos Chiles), but all the restaurants seemed to have something for everyone and the food was good no matter where we went. Although, the guacamole was surprisingly lacking in flavor at each restaurant. That was weird. All the restaurants use purified water for drinks, ice and washing vegetables. No Montezuma’s revenge here! We spent an afternoon on the beach at the Omni hotel, but we also took a 15 minute cab ride south to Akumal (about $15), so it was nice having some alternative beach options so close. The snorkeling in Akumal and a lagoon called Yal Ku (near Akumal) was fantastic. Avoid the expensive “cattle drive” snorkel tours and just walk into the water right off the beach! We saw turtles, coral and plenty of fish. There are some great dive shops in Puerto Aventuras (Aquanauts) and Akumal (The Dive Shop) where you can plan a dive trip or just rent fins and/or mask for snorkeling (~$10). Puerto Aventuras and the condo were great for a relaxing getaway.

Our family stayed in this property in mid-July. We were extremely pleased with the accomodations and amenities. The unit is very well maintained with nice amenities. Our children (ages 12-18) along with other younger kids in near by condos seemed to really enjoy this unique swimming pool. The location of the condo on the marina inlet made trips into the open waters in just minutes. The gated community and beach - an easy walk/drive allowed us to enjoy some days of our vacation without even leaving the grounds. The entire grounds of the development are very well maintained and the security of the gated community provided a very secure and relaxing environment. Every staff member/employee/owner we met were extremely courteous. The dolphin adventure and sea lions were real treat for all of us. The restaurants were terrific. Having easy access to fishing and scuba/snorkel cruises was great. Our day trips to near by attractions such as zip-lining, beaches, dining, shopping, Mayan Ruins, snorkeling and other resorts made for very easy day trips. We will definitely return to this location and condo.

WOW! What a beautiful property in a quaint town! We comfortably had 2 families (mine has 5, the other has 4) for 4 fun-filled nights. The condo is beautiful - marble & hard woods. It's as comfortable as it is beautiful - cool and relaxing. The kids LOVED the pool...right out the back door. The boys enjoyed fishing right there off of the dock. The property owners are easy to work with and the onsight manager was fantastic. The town is precious...and safe - a gated community. You can swim with the dolphins right there in Puerto Aventuras. Xel-Ha is a nearby water park...but not in the American sense. There are no water slides, but fun and adventure abound. A great vacation spot for anyone - families, couples, girls' trip...you can "do it all" or kick back and relax! Make sure you book a guided snorkling trip (lunch provided) with guides right there in Puerto Aventuras - we even saw a sea turtle.
Owner response:Thank you so much for staying with us and enjoying our HomeAway.

We had some fairly specific requirements for a rental property in Puerto Aventuras. We wanted to have our 46 ft catamaran nearby, we wanted a unit big enough to handle our family with three young children, we preferred to be within in walking distance to restaurants and shops, and we wanted amenities such as a pool. This property fit the bill on all fronts. From the start, our experience was an excellent one. On the administrative front, the calendar on the website was accurate and up-to-date. The owner responded immediately to our email and was quick to respond to all of our needs. Nothing was considered too difficult and this was much appreciated during our stay. The onsite property manager was always available to answer questions and help work out logistical details. He helped us with everything from package deliveries, airport pick-up/drop-offs, and any maintenance required during our three month stay. The unit itself is spacious and well decorated - giving one a feeling of living in a home rather than a hotel room/suite. The bedrooms, kitchen, and living space are large and airy. (In fact, we rarely required the air-conditioning even though it was available.) We had regular cleaning service and were treated wonderfully by the local Mexican people and others in neighboring units. The complex of Los Vientos has a community feel that would be difficult to match elsewhere. Los Vientos is near many restaurants and shops which we frequented regularly. The people came to recognize us and were friendly from the start. The children loved watching the dolphins in the Dolphin Discovery program during our many meals in the village. There are many boating and fishing excursions available throughout the town as well. We enjoyed the beach and went on regular bike rides and walks around the community. The fact that Puerto Aventuras is a gated community was a bonus for us. We were also able to explore the sights in Tulum, Chichen-Itza, and Koba. Trips into Playa del Carmen were a regular occurence for us. All in all, we loved our stay at this property in Puerto Aventuras. It was like home to us and we hope to go back again soon.
