Discover the laid back lifestyle of Long Beach and the Peninsula! Ocean Breeze is a beautifully furnished 3rd floor ocean view studio near the Arch in Long Beach. Ocean Breeze has a great view of the ocean for watching sunsets or winter storms. The adjacent beach approach is a hub of activity year-round – fireworks for Independence Day and New Year’s Eve as well as all the colors of the Kite Festival in August.
Ocean Breeze has many great features! Although its a studio, the furniture arrangement creates a sitting area with a Euro-lounger, coffee table and bar table with 2 chairs adjacent to the king size bed. The kitchen is compact but well-equipped with fridge, microwave, 2-burner stove, coffee maker and toaster. Dishes, utensils, pots, pans and flatware are all provided, as well as linens, towels and soap. Coin-op laundry is available on the same floor. For your evenings, Ocean Breeze offers an HDTV with cable, Blu-Ray/DVD -- or watch the changing colors of the sunset from your own balcony with sweeping views of the dunes and the beach.
Take time to explore all of the Long Beach Peninsula – all 26 plus miles of it. Long Beach has carnival rides, miniature golf and arcades for the kids. Check out Marsh’s Free Museum with its historical collection – and take a look at their great selection of gifts and souvenirs. There’s lot’s of shopping and restaurants in downtown Long Beach. Or take a horseback ride on the beach!
Just south of Long Beach are Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment, as well as Waikiki Beach and the North Head lighthouse. There are some great art galleries at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months there’s Saturday Market too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers and plants for sale. Ilwaco also has its own fireworks in July. The Port also features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. Or take a charter trip for salmon, halibut, tuna or sturgeon.
Visit the Cranberry Museum on Cranberry Road and learn about how cranberries are grown and harvested before they end up on your Thanksgiving table. Or visit Jack’s Country Store in Ocean Park to see this historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta you can buy fresh oysters and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. On the extreme north end of the Peninsula, the place to see is Ledbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay.

Hard wood floors are beautiful- bring slippers so your feet stay warm. Really feels like home here!'

About the owner: I am retired military, my wife teaches, and we love the coast. We also delight in the many features and offerings of the Long Beach community. It may seem trite, but we like long walks on the beach, and no longer a beach can be found than this one! Near restaurants, shops, horse rentals, and many more exciting options.
