Your condo is beautifully furnished, impeccably clean and shows pride of ownership. It is in the popular "C" building (C218), on the ground floor, overlooking a lovely expanse of green grass and tropical flowers. You can enjoy your morning coffee or evening meals out on your lanai and watch the clouds drift over Mount Haleakala. The setting is serene and relaxing.
But if it's action you want, you need only walk down the driveway from your unit and it's all there for the taking. Restaurants, entertainment, bars, and shopping. And of course, the big blue ocean is front and center of your driveway. Every evening, locals and tourists alike gather at "Kam 2" beach park across the street to watch the nightly ritual of sunset. We live in Sasketchewan and have travelled extensively to other islands and other countries throughout our lives. We are retired farmers and the idea of having our very own vacation home in Maui was an appealing one. Shortly after the year 2000, things just fell into place better than we could have ever planned and we found a unit which suited us perfectly. We now come every winter to escape the Canadian COLD and we love our time here.
Why the Owner Chose Kihei Akahi
The location of Kihei Akahi, is convenient to virtually anything we could want....It is a short walk (or roll, if you are really lazy) down the driveway to one of the best beach areas on Maui. Known as the Kams, short for Kamaole, it is 3 of the best white sand beaches on Maui. Great for families because of the picnic facilities and grills, restrooms and lifeguards, and the beautiful, clean blue water. There are too many restaurants to list within the same area...all walking distance from the condo. Or if you want to drive your options are unlimited. There is also a theater, great shopping and grocery stores all within a half mile. Yet, the condo is set back from the main road and you hear nothing but the birds chirping. It's a quiet oasis in the midst of it all.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Kihei Akahi has 2 swimming pools, free use of their tennis courts, outdoor grills to cook on and tables around the pool areas where you can meet your neighbors, share your BBQ'd food, or simply raise a cocktail to the setting sun. Although we personally have come to love sitting on our outdoor lanai, enjoying the breeze for all of our meals.
From the Akahi property you can see sunsets that will stay with you always. They's just different here, lots of red, orange and purples colors in the sky at sunset. It's a photographers dream. We both agree that buying our unit here was one of the best decisions we ever made.

Thank you for renting your lovely condo to us. We have rented various condos at Akahi over the past dozen years. Yours is at the top of our list. The decor is most tasteful and comfortable.
