Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2009
Owners Bill and Rose Ramsay enjoy the Bridge for Peace just completed over Blue Lick Creek at the retreat center. The tree lined creek has open fields on both sides up to the flood control dam and lake from which the creek flows.
Why the Owner Chose Berea
The retreat center is on an 80 acre farm just down the road from our house. Our 6 children and 22 grandchildren have roots in Berea so we purchased it as a way to continue a family legacy of close relationships and hospitality in the context of God's creation.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle of today's life, but not so remote that convenience and communication are lost. We enjoy the beauty of the surrounding hills and streams and room for play, hikes, meditation and good fellowship.
