The home has been described as "very cozy" and is both family and pet friendly. Fireplaces on both floors make this a great place to visit in the winter time. The Canadian Lakes Resort area has all kinds of family activities and is a great place to visit.

Year Purchased: 2004
My father built this home in the late 70's and lived here with my mother until he passed away in 2001. I purchased the home from my siblings a few years later and have enjoyed long weekend getaways here since then. It is not a cottage, it is a year-round home. I did not purchase it as a rental, but allowing people to come and visit has allowed me to help pay some of the expenses associated with the home. My hope is that some day I will be able to retire and move into the home.
The Unique Benefits of this House
When I visit I find the area to be very relaxing. I go for walks, bike rides, or play a little golf. The courses in the area vary from very easy for beginners to very difficult for the more advanced golfers. There are some great places to eat in the area or it's fun to barbecue on the deck and watch the golfers go by while you sip your drink at the table.

My wife and I have been renting homes and cottages in Canadian Lakes for several years. This home is by far the nicest and cleanest home we have rented. The home is clean and comfortable. The setting is wonderful, the neighbors are great. When we vacation here we feel like we leave our home downstate to come to our "other home" in Canadian Lakes.
