Don't let the word "rustic" scare you! While this year-round waterfront cottage has that "camp" feel, you won't be toting your own water! It has all the amenities (and indoor plumbing) including front loading stackable washer and dryer, full shower, electric range, large air conditioner, ceiling fans, gas heat and antique woodstove/cook stove. The house was originally a waterfront camp but was lovingly remodeled in 1997 with post and beam ceilings, pine board walls, wood floors, metal roof and all new insulated windows. The living room overlooking the water has a complete wall of windows to capture the early morning sunrise as well as open concept kitchen with bar/counter to sit and look out at the water. The property is grandfathered at 75 feet back from water's edge across a manicured gentle sloping lawn with boat dock, Adirondack chairs, antique chaise lounge, picnic table, outdoor fireplace and outdoor firepit, and abundant perennials. The fishing is abundant on Scott Pond. Wildlife galore--bald eagle, osprey, great blue heron, Canadian geese, numerous ducks and waterfowl, turtles, otter, beaver. From the boat there are spectacular views of Mt Monadnock and Gap Mountain. Scott Pond is 175 acres with abundant shoreline blueberries. Mt Monadnock is the most climbed mountain in the US and only second in the world to Mt Fuji. The owners live 6 miles across town and this is our paradise getaway we now want to share with you!
